Red Wine Pinot Noir Pinot Noir is the world’s most popular light-bodied red wine. It’s loved for its red fruit, flower, and spice aromas that are accentuated by a long, smooth finish. Cabernet Sauvignon The world’s most popular red wine grape is a natural cross between Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon Blanc from Bordeaux, France. Cabernet Sauvignon is loved for its high concentration and age worthiness. Australian Shiraz Syrah (aka Shiraz) originally comes from France and is actually related to Viognier! French Beaujolais A French region just south of Bourgogne that’s devoted to Gamay-based wines. Most Beaujolais are simple, rustic reds, but the 10 Crus offer exceptional quality. On the palate, it is bone dry through the finish. The name really suits the delicate nature of this wine. Château Miraval Château Miraval is a wine producer in the southern French region of Provence. While it is known for its intense, flinty rosé wines made from Grenache and Cinsaut, it is perhaps better known for its owners, Hollywood stars Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. Stoller Pinot Noir Rosé It carries a touch of spice and is finished bone-dry. It’s a good example of the standard, well-built Oregon style of Pinot Noir rosé. Desert or sweet wine Blandy’s Duke of Clarence Rich Madeira Italian Passito Wine Madeira is a fortified wine produced and bottled on the Portuguese Island of Madeira. Madeira’s unique character is created by the unconventional heat treatment the wine is given. This treatment was first discovered by accident in the 15th Century when a consignment of Madeira wine was returned to the island after being shipped to India. Tokaji The most desirable of these elixirs (and the most expensive) was that of Tokaji Eszencia, a liquid goo that contains as much sweetness as straight syrup. Fontodi Vin Santo Vin Santo is a traditional wine from Tuscany, and every producer has their unique recipe for this luscious, golden wine. Using Malvasia and Sangiovese grapes dried for five months, Fontodi ages the wine for at least five years before release. Chenin Blanc It’s hard not to love Chenin Blanc. It is versatile in style and sweetness and has the ability to adapt to a wide variety of tastes. Sparkling Wine Françoes President, Brut. Made by Pinot noir wines this wine has vigorous aroma and taste, lively acidity, fine strings of bubbles and the fruity notes so characteristic of the variety are complemented by mature, yeasty aromas due to years of ageing. A well-balanced, complex and lingering sparkling wine bearing all the graceful beauty of its variety. Wiston Estate, Blanc de Noirs Coming from a benchmark year at Wiston, this rich and complex single vineyard wine is brimming with nectarines, strawberries and rhubarb, overlaid with delicious brioche, toasted hazelnut and savoury mineral notes. Torelló, Cava de Paraje This wine is creamy in texture and well-balanced. On the palate there are subtle toasty notes of vanilla from the Allier oak barrels having spent time ageing on its lees. Monfort Riserva Brut. This wine has the aromas of bread crust, hawthorn and white stone fruit shape the nose. She recently wrapped up the dark web techno-thriller, Ira, and will also be seen portraying a guest role in the film, Mister Mummy . The movie also stars Ritesh and Genelia Deshmukh. Kotak cites Penelope Cruz as her inspiration along with Vicky Cristina Barcelona. She mentioned that her favourite role so far was her guest appearance in Freaky Ali alongside Arbaaz Khaan, Sohail Khan, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. “It was a really fun opportunity. We got to shoot on this beautiful golf course in Pune. It was such a fond memory for me. Although it was just a short cameo, it was a lot of fun and I worked with a great team,” she said. Sharing her views on body shaming and body positivity, she said, “I think there's a lot of pressure on women to look a certain size and a certain way. And I definitely think social media has a huge part to play in it. People need to understand that a lot of celebrities go under the knife to meet unrealistic expectations. I believe if you lose too much weight, it ages your face, and it makes you look older. The kingdom of Norway has come up with ideas worth adopting and has positively brought the entire conception of the three R’s into play. While other industrialized nations still scuffle, at an alarming rate, with the consumption of problematic plastic waste, Norway stands out by managing to recycle up to 97% of its plastic bottles. The country is breaking ground in scrutinizing all the aspects of waste supervision techniques by implementing a nationwide bottle deposit scheme. Recycling technology has come a long way since the earliest vital investments in the sector. Anything and everything can now be recycled; paper, plastic, metal or an entire house. Through an organization called Infinitum, the Scandinavian country has established itself as the most effective of all by designing the best environment-friendly modes of recycling plastic bottles.While other countries are still in the process of forming a good stable model for recycling plastic trash, Norway sometimes imports trash to keep its recycling process going. What makes Norway awe-inspiringly different is the way it has given recycling a value it never had and this value is what makes the companies and consumers walk on the righteous path to conserve our environment. Their radical approach is based on a loan scheme implying that when a consumer buys any plastic bottle, they are charged an additional amount of money equivalent to about 13 to 30 US cents which can be redeemed in discrete ways. The buyer can either take the plastic bottle to one of the several thousand ‘reverse vending machines’ present in public spaces like schools and supermarkets which returns the money after scanning the barcode of the deposited bottle or they can return them in shops and gas stations in exchange of money or store credit. Also, the plastic producers in Norway are subject to an environmental tax and almost all of them have signed up for the bottle deposit scheme. Hence, the more plastic they recycle, the lesser their tax is and on reaching the target of recycling over 95 percent of total produced plastic, they don’t have to pay at all. The four-container system Apart from having the world’s most effective plastic recycling plans, Norway also has an intricate system that the locals have been taught since childhood. The Norwegian recycling idea also involves a colour coding system. The coloured bins and bags are basically to help people decipher what type of waste goes where. There are green, blue and white bins in0 some places and plain bins that take the specific green, blue and white waste in others. The food and organic waste should be dumped in the green bin/bag, all plastic packaging in blue, paper or cardboard related waste in white and lastly, the electronic or hazardous waste in the red. Being one of the most systematic countries, Norway has remained unbeaten in maintaining a sound lifestyle for its citizens.
