In digital content creation, few names shine as brightly as Heli Ved's. With a thriving YouTube channel and a dedicated following on social media, Heli has captured the hearts of her viewers through her niche content in fashion and beauty. In an exclusive interview for our magazine, Heli reveals the secrets behind her success, her evolution as a content creator, and her dreams for the future.
"How are you, and how is everything going on in your life?" we inquired. Heli enthusiastically responds, "I'm doing great, thanks for asking! I'm creating new content every day and ensuring my audience has something unique to experience daily. I'm also focusing on creating niche content in fashion and beauty. I'm excited about my progress, and I can't wait to see what the future holds."
Heli's journey on YouTube has been remarkable, and we wonder what sets her content apart and resonates so well with her audience. She replies thoughtfully, "As you know, content is king in today's digital world, and building connections with my audience is paramount to me. Several factors contribute to successful content, including relevance, authenticity, consistency, and adaptation to the platform. Ultimately, creating content that resonates with the audience requires understanding their preferences."
From her early days as a content creator to where she is now, Heli's approach to creating videos and engaging with her audience has evolved significantly. "Staying relevant and adapting to trends has become crucial as online platforms and audience preferences evolve," she explains. "Overall, the evolution of content creation has been influenced by technological advancements, shifts in audience behavior, and a deep understanding of the need to connect with viewers on a more personal level."
Having amassed a large and dedicated following, we are curious how Heli stays connected with her audience despite the growing numbers. She reveals her strategy, "Interacting with the audience on social media platforms allows us as creators to respond to comments, questions, and feedback, fostering a sense of community. Tailoring content to address specific interests and preferences of different audience segments can enhance engagement. Recognizing and celebrating milestones (e.g., subscriber count) makes the audience feel appreciated and included in the journey."
We lighten the mood with a fun question, asking Heli, "If you could be one animal, mythical or existent, what would you be?" She smiles and replies, "I'd be a Phoenix! Bold and elegant, loyal to loved ones and possessing immense courage."
As we delve deeper into Heli's career, we ask her to share a highlight from her journey. She fondly recalls, "Hosting the IIFA Red carpet is definitely one of the highlights. I started content creation with the sheer love of building a community, and when that took me places, it felt surreal. My love for extempore as a kid and picking a Speech and Drama class as the extracurricular activity, all made sense at that moment."
We are intrigued to know who Heli's dream collaboration would be with and why. She shares her heartfelt dream, "My dream collab is to meet Zoë Sugg and film a classic Haul or makeup routine video with her because she inspired me to start my channel. At a time when I was transitioning from school to college when a lot of things felt overwhelming, her videos helped me immensely. She truly was like an elder sister to me in that phase, and that's what I wanted to emulate."
Wrapping up the interview, we seek some advice from Heli for aspiring content creators. "What advice do you have for someone who wants to start creating content on Instagram?" She enthusiastically responds, "Decide on a specific niche or theme for your content. Focusing on a topic you are passionate about will help you attract a targeted audience. Develop a consistent visual style and branding for your posts. Use similar filters, colors, and fonts to create a cohesive and recognizable aesthetic. Lastly, consistency is key to growing your presence on Instagram. Stick to your content schedule and stay dedicated to producing quality content regularly. Enjoy the process, be creative, and have fun sharing your passion with the world!"
