  • Origin of Pasta: The Ambiguous Kitchen History

by Aparajita Jaiswal Origin of Pasta: The Ambiguous Kitchen History 7 July 2022 FOOD Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement One of the many wonders of the world happens to be the origin of pasta. Pasta became an increasingly common sight on restaurant menus all across the globe, but the Italians’ love affair with pasta has a long, complex, and passionate history. While we do think of pasta as a culturally Italian food, it is likely the descendent of ancient Asian noodles, or is it? Let’s find out! Nothing says Italy like its food, and nothing says Italian food like pasta. Pasta is integrant part of Italy’s food history and immaculate culture. Wherever Italians immigrated they have brought their pasta. Pasta happens to be the staple food of traditional Italian cuisine. All kinds of pasta is made of milled wheat and water and sometimes enriched with vitamins and minerals. Italian spaghetti is typically made from durum wheat semolina. Unlike other ubiquitous Italian products like pizza and tomato sauce, which have a fairly recent history, pasta may have a much older pedigree, going back hundreds, if not thousands, of years. While unraveling the long and often complex history of this delicious and finger licking dish, we have to look at its origins and some of the myths surrounding it. Very often we come across the enduring myth, based on the writings of the 13th-century explorer Marco Polo, that pasta was brought to Italy from China, rose from being published in the ‘Macaroni Journal’ by the Association of Food Industries. Some may have also learnt that Polo’s was not a discovery, but rather a rediscovery of a product once popular in Italy among the Etruscans and the Romans, a common misconception that Marco Polo introduced pasta to Italy whereas in truth, the dish had already existed in Europe for centuries but there’s little doubt he made Westerners aware of many Chinese inventions. Italian pasta enthusiasts organized a World Pasta Conference in 1995, they celebrate Word Pasta Day every year in October, since 1998. There is also an Italian Pasta Association and a Pasta Museum in Rome. History of pasta: drying pasta toward the beginning of the 1900 There is indeed evidence of an Etrusco-Roman noodle, called lagane, made from the same durum wheat used to produce modern pasta. Lagane is where the modern word lasagna originated from. However this type of food, first mentioned in the 1st century AD, was not boiled, as it is usually done today, but oven baked. Ancient lagane had some similarities with modern pasta, but cannot be considered quite the same. The country will have to wait a few centuries for its most popular dish to make a further culinary leap forward. Like so much of southern Italian life, the Arabic invasions of the 8th century heavily influenced regional cuisine. Today, the presence of Arabic people in the south of the peninsula during the Middle Ages is considered the most likely reason behind the diffusion of pasta. Early pasta making was often a laborious, day-long process. How these early dishes were served is not truly known, but many Sicilian pasta recipes still include typically Middle Eastern ingredients, such as raisins and cinnamon, which may be witness to original, medieval recipes. This early pasta was an ideal staple for Sicily and it easily spread to the mainland since durum wheat thrives in Italy’s climate. Italy is still a major producer of this hard wheat, used to make the all-important semolina flour. By the 1300’s dried pasta was very popular for its nutrition and long shelf life, making it ideal for long ship voyages. Pasta made it around the globe during the voyages of discovery a century later. By that time different shapes of pasta have appeared and new technology made pasta easier to make. With these innovations pasta truly became a part of Italian life. However the next big advancement in the history of pasta would not come until the 19th century when pasta met tomatoes. Although tomatoes were brought back to Europe shortly after their discovery in the New World, it took a long time for the plant to be considered edible. In fact tomatoes are a member of the nightshade family and rumors of tomatoes being poisonous continued in parts of Europe and its colonies until the mid 19th century (check the history of tomato here). Therefore it was not until 1839 that the first pasta recipe with tomatoes was documented. However shortly, thereafter, tomatoes took hold, especially in the south of Italy. The rest of course is delicious history. Pasta was considered a dish for the wealthy, taking pride of place in aristocratic banquets during the Renaissance. Pasta in America Early Spanish settlers were among the first to bring pasta to America. Believe it or not, it was Thomas Jefferson that helped give pasta an initial push into popularity. During an extended stay in Paris from 1784-1789, Jefferson ate what he called macaroni… back then, the word could have referred to any shape of pasta. He enjoyed the dish so much that he returned to America with two cases in tow. When his supply ran out, he sent for reinforcements via a friend from Naples. The first industrial pasta factory in the US was built in Brooklyn in 1848 by a Frenchman. Pasta Today Pasta was originally solely a part of Italian and European cuisine. With an increase in popularity on a worldwide scale, pasta has crossed international borders and is now a popular form of fast food and a staple in North America and elsewhere. This is due to the great amount of Italian immigration into Canada and the United States around the beginning of the 20th century. Similarly, the immense immigration of Italians into South Africa ensured that spaghetti with meatballs became an essential part of South African cuisine. The art of pasta making and the devotion to the food as a whole has evolved since pasta was first conceptualized. Several things that have changed drastically over time are the flavorings added to pasta. Sweetness has been replaced by savory, sugar swapped out for vegetables, which helped make pasta a nutritionally complete dish. Pasta is so beloved in Italy that individual consumption exceeds the average production of wheat of the country; thus Italy frequently imports wheat for pasta making. In contemporary society pasta is ubiquitous and individuals can find a variety of types in local supermarkets. With the worldwide demand for this staple food, pasta is now largely mass-produced in factories and only a tiny proportion is crafted by hand. • How to Travel Solo like a Pro

by Rupashree Ravi by Rupashree Ravi How to Travel Solo like a Pro 16 August 2022 TRAVEL Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement A one of a kind and once in a lifetime experience is travelling, and solo travel tops that. From budgeting, keeping calm in an emergency, to meeting interesting new people, and building a soul-enriching and meaningful relationship with yourself, it teaches you everything. The post pandemic world has seen a resurgence of people getting out of their homes to try and be a part of everything they can before the next inevitable global emergency. Solo travel is where it’s at. The boundless independence to the time for self-reflection that solo travel allows you, it is both exhilarating and enlightening, no matter your age. Traveling unlocks new parts of ourselves. Soloists have emerged as a fast-growing segment in the travel industry during the past decade. But people have their perceptions, misconceptions and fears when it comes to travelling solo. Some of the most seasoned solo travellers will tell you they didn’t initially set out to adventure on their own. It can come with sheer spontaneity or proper planning; there is no in-between. Along the way, many get hooked on this independent style of traveling — freely wending their way through countries on their own itineraries, or lack thereof, and enjoying the joy of meeting new paths and people. Discover new spots all by yourself With so many places to travel to, it can be overwhelming to pick your first solo travel destination. Start by giving your trip a focus, whether it’s an activity you’ve been wanting to try like hot air ballooning or a destination that’s long been on your list. So pick your destination, and leave lots of room for serendipity. Discover new restaurants and cuisines, museums, or sunset spots on your own, and follow the recommendations of different people like the local people and other tourists from different walks of life. This will build confidence and a great deal of adventure in you. You can meet people from different cultures and backgrounds Next, set a budget and have some flexibility as well. Hotel rooms are great, but you’d be surprised to know that hostels are amazing for networking and socializing. Many even have options for single rooms if you don’t want to share a space. As you set your trip budget, give yourself an extra ten per cent leeway for any change in plans. A solo trip is the best way to perfect the art of the selfie. Explore new camera settings. Or you can ask random strangers or fellow tourists on the street to click a photograph of you. Adventure and spontaneity are the two ingredients for a great solo trip Of course, safety is one of the most important aspects of solo travel. Always remain in well-lit areas and avoid shady places. When in crowded areas, stay clear of pickpockets and guard your belongings well. Share your location with a trusted contact and download maps and routes ahead of time. The beauty of solo travel is that you can have time by yourself, but you can also link up with other people who are travelling alone like you. Eventually, you will learn to enjoy your own company, and alone time is underrated. And when you meet people you click with, be open to adventure. So, here’s your push to get out on your own and explore the world! • Raveena Mehta, The Rising Phoenix

Raveena Mehta, The Rising Phoenix by Naisargi Devdher Raveena Mehta, The Rising Phoenix 17 September 2022 COVER STORIES Advertisement The beautiful and incredulous singer, Raveena Mehta talks about her journey of becoming a singer and the path of good mental health that can lead one there. This story comes from the very depth of Raveena Mehta's journey as an artist, especially with the Pandemic hitting the world hard. Speaking of which, she mentions, "When the pandemic hit, I lived in my home studio. I have a home set up where I record a lot of my music. I decided to get into a routine to make a cover everyday and worked on composing. This led me to release around 7 songs in 2020 which was a great feeling. It has been incredible to see the way India has digitized over the last two years, an immense amount of technological progress." Speaking of success, it's one of the most beautiful feelings in the entire world; when reality strikes an artist! It just glows over the body and the mind, when the artist makes it big in the industry. However, Raveena does not recollect any such moment where she realized she was going big, but continues to say, "I don't think there was ever such a moment where I realised I was going big, but when I was approached to demo with 'Casanova Acoustic', that felt pretty great! Reality striking was never a daunting thing, reality is also what you make of it and depends on how you are viewing your cup, hopefully always half full. I also believe maintaining a small inner circle is one of the most important things to remain grounded and level headed in a whirlwind of an industry." Raveena is not only successful nationally but recognised for her talent all over the globe, at film festivals and red carpets. Raveena exclaims gratefully, "For artists, it is always incredible to be able to see your work being recognised globally. I find it endearing when my Hindi songs are appreciated in Cannes. When I was there for the Film festival, it felt brilliant to know the music that comes from India is so sought after." Singing soulfully has always reached to the most interior bosom of a being and in doing so, Raveena Mehta has attained incredulous levels of success! "I define success with deriving happiness. I tend to keep myself and my headspace quite process oriented and so I find happiness in smaller, process driven moments. Of course, when I release a song and I can see that people appreciate the music, that most definitely also makes me feel successful. Success for me means earning respect and focusing on my happiness." When the appreciation of fans and people hits, the gaze is difficult to handle. The expectations, the build ups or the love is tedious and risky to respond to! Raveena truly respects all her listeners and fans, understanding that respecting them would earn her respect! "I truly respect all my listeners and fans. I feel blessed to know that people out there listen to and appreciate my music. I try to meet their expectations with my music. I truly feel like as an artist, you have to strike a balance between the things that want to be heard from you and the things you wish to create, remaining authentic and yourself. There’s a happy medium in there somewhere." When the audience speculate rumours, or show disrespect towards the art and the song, many artists feel undervalued. Everyone is entitled to their own tastes and opinions. To this day, in the world, the fear of a song being perceived incorrectly, is tremendous and has the capacity of wrecking one's mental health. Raveena, reflects on both, the expectations of people as well as one's mental health. "In my opinion, music is art and ultimately art is subjective and open to interpretation. To that point, I feel it becomes imperative to try to detach yourself from the work to an extent; so you can allow the work to grow and evolve wholeheartedly. I personally don't think I have ever felt too worried about a song being misinterpreted or misunderstood." Raveena also talks about how one's mental peace is key while working in a creative field. Creating can only be brought forward with a clear mind and peaceful environment. "Mental health is everything. I believe strongly in preserving one's mental sanctity, constantly focusing on self betterment and doing the things that make you the best version of yourself. These are definitely deliberate efforts and as for me, singing and drawing is therapeutic and it definitely helps me remain in touch with myself." Having said that, a lot of discipline is required from one's team as well. Every form of art, including a well produced album requires a strong and disciplined team. Raveena also comments on the same saying, "One annoying trait for me is tardiness, I generally find it annoying especially if it is concerning work for example in the form of a meeting. But hey, I also recognise that Mumbai traffic is also very hectic." Hectic schedules and a demanding creative field, on several instances, can also lead to mind blocks. Raveena adds, "If I ever have a mind block while i’m working, I tend to take some time for myself; I either go for a walk or do something that brings me a lot of peace. I try to disassociate any kind of pressure that is possibly creating a wall between my thoughts and inspiration." This global icon reinforced the importance of being true to herself while retaining the soul of her music and the integrity of her sound. However while acknowledging all of it, she remarked on a very beautiful note, "I find that sometimes in chasing trends, it is very easy to lose the soul of the music. In today's age with reels, tiktok and instant gratification which is equally as important to generating viewership, this can also be a double edged sword. While a lot of today's artists consider trends, it is also important to consider and retain the soul and integrity of your sound." While a lot of today's artists consider trends, it is also important to consider and retain the soul and integrity of your sound. #raveenamehta #singer #TujhseMilneKiAas #coverstory SEARCH A Journey Shaped By Courage, Creativity, And Social Media With Aditi Sharma COVER STORIES Inner Joy Trails My Inspiration : A Candid Conversation With The Creative Anushka Kaushik COVER STORIES Barkha Singh’s candid candour makes the way to an eye-catching interview COVER STORIES Educate, Empower, Excel: Priyanka Chahar Choudhary's Inspirational Overture COVER STORIES Waluscha De Sousa On Being Her ‘True Self’ And Going On The Dream Journey COVER STORIES POPULAR POSTS Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement By Sakshi Shah Khushi Bhardwaj Is Growing Up On Screen, And Doing It Her Way 31 December 2025 COVER STORIES By Shriniwas Kodape The Eternal Strings Of Amaan & Ayaan Ali Bangash 4 October 2025 COVER STORIES By Anurag Sen Vivian Dsena: The Fluke Star Who Became Television’s Undying Heartthrob 25 September 2025 COVER STORIES By Ananya Patankar Unscripted, Unstoppable: The Many Lives Of Christine Gulasatree 22 August 2025 COVER STORIES RELATED POSTS Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement

  • The Fractured Fairytale

SOCIETY by Akash Khatri The Fractured Fairytale 1 December 2020 SOCIETY Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement In June 2016, Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex and the younger son of Charles, Prince of Wales and Diana, Princess of Wales began a relationship with Meghan Markle, a former actress and a celebrity philanthropist. The engagement was announced on November 27, 2017, by Harry’s father Charles, Prince of Wales. It generated generally positive comments about having a mixed-race person as a member of the royal family, especially in regard to Commonwealth countries with populations of blended or native ancestry. According to DailyMail, by an energy firm they have been branded the least eco-friendly Royals that found that their African tour had generated a hefty carbon footprint of an estimated three tonnes of CO2 each. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex engaged considerably less with environmental charities and engagements as compared to other members of the Royal family. Markle retired from acting after her engagement and began the lengthy process of becoming a British citizen. Meghan was baptized by the archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, and was confirmed her into the Church of England on March 6, 2018. The private ceremony took place in the Chapel Royal at St James’s Palace and was performed with water from the River Jordan. The marriage ceremony was held on May 19 at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle. It was reportedly agreed in advance that excess funds generated from the BBC broadcast of the ceremony would go to a charity chosen by the newlywed couple. In April 2020, Feeding Britain was nominated to receive £90,000 from the BBC, they provided food packages to families in food poverty. After the wedding, the Duke and Duchess lived at Nottingham Cottage on the grounds of Kensington Palace in London. They later moved to Frogmore Cottage in the Home Park of Windsor Castle. The Crown Estate refurbished the cottage at a cost of £2.4 million which was paid out of the Sovereign Grant. The Duke has reportedly paid back this amount in full. The Duchess gave birth to a son on May 6, 2019 named Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor who is seventh in the line of succession to the British throne. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s office moved to Buckingham Palace and officially closed on March 31, 2020, when the Sussexes ceased “undertaking official engagements in support of the Queen”. After some months in Canada and the United States, the couple bought a house in June 2020 on the former estate of Riven Rock in Montecito, California. Currently, they live in a $14million mansion in Santa Barbara. Despite a few interruptions to his parental leave, the royal is said to have been sharing the load of the new-born with his wife. They have been following modern parenting techniques for their son’s upbringing. They even made a shocking decision to move from the UK and out of the royal spotlight. In 2020, harry and Meghan decided to step down as senior members of the royal family. 95% of the couple’s income was given to them annually by Charles, Harry’s father as part of his income from the Dutchy of Cornwell. They announced that they would balance between United kingdom and North America while also seeking financial independence as well as continuing to support their charities and the Queen. In March 2020, Harry’s appearance at the opening of the Silverstone Experience in Silverstone Circuit together with racing driver Lewis Hamilton was his final solo engagement as a senior royal before he and his wife officially stepped down on 31 March. News was in the air later that month after the duke and duchess recorded a video message for Times 100 urging Americans to vote, just weeks before the November 3 elections that the royal would consider running for president. Surprisingly the close folks denied any news of Meghan’s intentions in politics. According to observations though Prince Harry appears to improve his relationship with his brother Prince William they are not as close as they once were, on the other hand, it’s unlikely Meghan will ever want to return as she couldn’t achieve her desire to change the world while working as a member of the royal family. However, Prince Harry doesn’t share the same political ambitions as his wife and would want to work to help the disadvantaged. They have apparently burnt some bridges that now seem to be beyond repair. Harry is believed to be hurt after his request to lay a wreath at the Cenotaph on his behalf was denied by courtiers as he is no longer a working member of the Royal Family. The same has been denied by his grandmother the Queen, who is believed to be unaware of the request from Harry and has continued to keep the door open for his return to frontline duties. After resettling, the couple seems to have unveiled new Hollywood careers. They have found a yet to be known production company and signed a multilayer deal with 193 million worldwide subscribers company, Netflix which will pay them to make documentaries, feature films, children’s programming and scripted shows. The couple releases a statement stating, ” Our focus will be on creating content that informs but also gives hope. As new parents, making inspirational family programming is also important to us.” Author Ingrid Seward slammed the way the couple marked Remembrance Day. Though the Sussex’s appeared to be on their own in the vast Los Angeles Cemetery, they had employed the services of celebrity fashion photographer to record their every scripted move after snaps showed the pair laying an all-green wreath. Royal author Sean Smith whose book Meghan Misunderstood revolves around the former Suits actress feels that within a week Meghan went from being a human right’s campaigner to Prince Harry’s hottie, within a week. The people want old Harry back but it seems like he is now lost forever. SEARCH Why India is the most depressed country in the world? • Bullying

SOCIETY by Akash Khatri Bullying 1 December 2020 SOCIETY Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement Have you, even in the slightest way, ever bullied or been bullied? I think most of us have, and that’s an unfortunate thing on both the sides. People of all ages are bullied, or bully someone, from a very young age to an old age, too; and at every possible place. May it be at the playground, or schools and colleges or public places, and so on. Not only peers, friends, fellow mates or strangers; sometimes even family members and relatives are responsible for bullying. Even unnoticed things such as some rude comment, or a taunt can hurt someone deeply; and this promotes bullying. Types of bullying: Physical bullying: When bullies try to hurt or torture someone physically, or even touch them without their consent. Verbal bullying: It is when a person taunts or teases the other person. Psychological bullying: When a person or group of people gossip about another person or exclude them from being part of the group, can be termed as psychological bullying. Cyber bullying: When bullies insult, hurt, spread rumours about or harass someone on social media. They make embarrassing and degrading (sometimes very inappropriate) comments, even on public forums, where others can see them; and hurt the person. Bullies also share the person’s personal information, pictures or videos to spoil someone’s public image. Sometimes, we say or do things that we think are just for fun; but it might be affecting the other person. And if they ask you to stop, do not continue doing it. And if you notice someone bullying or being bullied, call it out. Bullies haven’t always been the same. Some things in their life made them do it once or maybe twice; but they resorted to it. Sometimes, the ones who are bullied turn into bullies. Calling out will bring the bullies forward and preventing bullying will not only save people from being bullied, but can also help prevent more people turning into bullies. I grew-up in a small town, where the people would receive a thrashing for uttering the word SEX. Writing the word SEX on any piece of paper, was no less than penning our own death warrant. Therefore, learning about it from our schoolbooks became impossible, and talking about it in the public was considered offensive. Along with my puberty came the age of 2G internet, and along with downloading video games setup on proxy servers, porn movies became the hot talk. These enabled the boys of my age to watch videos of penetrative sex. Yes, it was porn movies that gave us them first sex lessons. The debate of ban over pornography has always received mixed opinions, and even mine has fluctuated with time. Sex-education is certainly a must for every person in their late teenage and early adulthood. Particularly, for people like me who grow up in small towns with not much provided guidance. Having been a porn addict, I find myself qualified (read and learned) enough to write against pornography. Pornography lacks consent: I have watched many porn movies in which the female actors are seen undressing their male partners without their consent. The male actors are seen groping their female partners without their consent. Basically, pornography, in general promotes (at least supports) molestation in the name of sex. People may have different political, religious, and regional identities, but no one should consider molestation normal. Anyone defending pornography, for any intention, should at least not let this very thought slip away from their mind. Pornography encourages incest: A significant number of porn movies show the male actor having sex with a girl playing the role of his mother, sister, sister-in-law and even daughter. While the religions and cultures have different opinions on incest, research shows that incest is harmful to possible off springs. Majority of sex educators (gynaecologists) strongly oppose incest, and hence incest shouldn’t be encouraged in the name of sex through pornography. Sanitary napkins vs Bananas: A good porn movie (according to my younger version) is incomplete without a girl inserting unconventional items (like a banana) inside her private parts. The availability of such videos on the internet is a matter of disgrace. Sex education should be about spreading knowledge on the healthy menstrual cycle, sanitation of genitals, valuing consent, and so on. It should certainly not be about the ill-treatment of genitals but rather about EXPLORATION of sexuality. P.S.I do not intend to offend anyone. • The Audi A6: A Legacy Born From Rebellion And Refined Through Innovation

The Audi A6: A Legacy Born From Rebellion And Refined Through Innovation By Aarti Singh The Audi A6: A Legacy Born From Rebellion And Refined Through Innovation 1 March 2025 LIFESTYLE Advertisement Few automobiles carry a legacy as rich, defiant, and enduring as the Audi A6 . To understand the A6's journey, one must first appreciate the bold origins of its predecessor, the Audi 100—a car born not from corporate planning but from quiet rebellion and sheer determination. It was this spirit that set the stage for one of the automotive world's most celebrated lineages! A Rebellious Beginning: The Birth Of The Audi 100 In the mid-1960s, Auto Union GmbH, the company behind the Audi brand, faced a stifling mandate. Volkswagenwerk AG, having taken control of Auto Union, prohibited the development of new models, relegating Audi to the mere production of existing designs. But Ludwig Kraus, then Technical Director of Auto Union, had other ideas. He envisioned a mid-range model—a car that would not only secure the future of the Audi brand but also redefine its identity. Against orders, Kraus and his team began developing the Audi 100 in secret. It was an act of defiance driven by foresight—a belief that Audi's survival depended on innovation. When the prototype was finally revealed, it impressed even the sceptics in Wolfsburg. Kraus's gamble paid off. Production of the Audi 100 commenced in 1968, and it wasn't long before the model became a resounding success. Demand quickly outstripped the capacity of the Ingolstadt plant, prompting production to expand to Neckarsulm in 1970. The numbers spoke for themselves: 800,000 units of the first-generation Audi 100 were sold, setting the stage for a model that would come to define Audi's philosophy of "Vorsprung durch Technik"—progress through technology. Golden Wheels And Global Acclaim Over its four generations, the Audi 100 didn't just sell—it triumphed! It claimed the prestigious Golden Steering Wheel five times, earned the title "Car of the Year" twice, and was crowned "World Car of the Year" by automotive journalists once. The success was not just in accolades but in sheer popularity, as 3.2 million Audi 100s found homes around the world. What made the Audi 100 extraordinary was its continuous innovation. From pioneering fully galvanized bodies that defied rust to flawless aerodynamic designs that enhanced both performance and efficiency, the model consistently pushed boundaries. Its highly efficient engines set new benchmarks, while the car's spaciousness and refinement redefined expectations for mid-range luxury sedans. The Evolution: From Audi 100 To Audi A6 By 1994, the torch passed to a new name—the Audi A6—but the spirit of innovation remained. Each generation of the A6 is built upon the legacy of its predecessor, introducing cutting-edge technologies, advanced safety features, and unparalleled comfort. From quattro all-wheel-drive systems to the integration of digital connectivity, the A6 became synonymous with progressive luxury. Today, the Audi A6 stands as a testament to nearly six decades of evolution. The exhibition at Neckarsulm celebrates this rich history, showcasing nine iconic variants of the Audi 100 alongside eight generations of the Audi A6. Among them, each car tells a unique story—the "first one" that defied corporate constraints, the "globetrotter" that conquered international markets, the "feat of spaciousness" that redefined comfort, and the "supreme one"—the 2024 Audi RS6 Avant GT. A New Chapter: The Ninth Generation As history has shown, Audi never rests on its laurels. On March 4, the world will witness the next chapter—the unveiling of the ninth-generation Audi A6 Avant. This new iteration promises to continue the legacy of technological leadership, luxurious refinement, and the daring spirit that first propelled Ludwig Kraus to defy expectations in the 1960s. From secret sketches in Ingolstadt to global acclaim, the journey of the Audi 100 and its successor, the Audi A6, is more than just an automotive success story—it's a testament to the power of vision, courage, and unwavering pursuit of excellence. The road ahead remains as promising as ever—and if history has taught us anything, it's that Audi will continue to lead it.
