- These Fashion Trends Are Literally Scary For Your Health
These Fashion Trends Are Literally Scary For Your Health By Anushka Sharma These Fashion Trends Are Literally Scary For Your Health 1 April 2024 FASHION Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement Fashion is like a thrilling roller coaster ride, isn't it? It's full of twists, turns, and unexpected surprises. However, did you know that some of those surprises lurking in your closet might not be so fun after all? Buckle up, because we're about to uncover the hidden dangers of fast fashion and trendy accessories. Fast fashion is like the speedy Gonzales of the clothing world. It churns out cheap clothes faster than you can say "fashion emergency." But here's the catch: those super affordable threads often come with a not-so-pleasant side effect. They're loaded with chemicals that can irritate your skin and even cause health issues. Think of it like wearing a toxic soup – definitely not a good look! Now, let's talk about everyone's favorite footwear: sneakers. They're comfy, stylish, and practically a fashion staple these days. But did you know that wearing sneakers too much can mess with your feet? Yep, it's true! They can throw off your posture and even lead to painful foot problems. So, while you're busy rocking those kicks, your poor feet might be silently screaming for a break. And then there are waist trainers – those trendy contraptions designed to give you that coveted hourglass figure. Sounds great, right? Well, not exactly. Sure, they might help you cinch your waist, but they can also wreak havoc on your body. From messing with your appetite to causing serious breathing issues, waist trainers are like the fashion equivalent of a tight squeeze. But let's not forget about the accessories, because they come with their own set of dangers too. Heavy earrings might look glam, but they can actually stretch out your earlobes or even cause them to split. Ouch! And those ill-fitting thongs? They can rub you the wrong way and leave you feeling seriously uncomfortable. So, what's a fashion-forward individual to do in a world full of wardrobe woes? Well, for starters, it's important to be mindful of what you're putting on your body. Opt for clothes made from natural materials whenever possible, and steer clear of anything that feels scratchy or uncomfortable. When it comes to footwear, choose shoes that offer both style and support. And don't forget to give your feet a break every now and then – they deserve it! As for accessories, go easy on the heavy earrings and make sure your thongs fit just right. And most importantly, listen to your body. If something doesn't feel right, don't ignore it. Fashion should be fun and fabulous, not hazardous to your health. So, the next time you're getting dressed, remember to put safety first. After all, there's nothing more stylish than taking care of yourself! - Behind The Brushes: How Diksha Sachdev Redefined The Art Of Makeup
Behind The Brushes: How Diksha Sachdev Redefined The Art Of Makeup By Akshra Khandelwal Behind The Brushes: How Diksha Sachdev Redefined The Art Of Makeup 31 August 2023 FASHION Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement Diksha Sachdev has risen as a shining star in the world of beauty and makeup, where artistry meets inspiration. With her vibrant Instagram account and now venturing into the world of YouTube, she has captured the hearts of makeup enthusiasts across the globe. In an exclusive interview with our magazine, Diksha shares her journey, her inspirations, and her dreams for the future. "How's everything going?" I asked, to which she replied with contagious excitement, "Everything's going great. We're finally expanding our business and tapping into YouTube, and I couldn't be more thrilled." It was evident that Diksha's passion for makeup was a creative outlet and a potential career path she was enthusiastically embracing. Her journey began around three years ago when she got her hands on the iconic James Charles X Morphe eyeshadow palette. "I knew then that my first post had to use this eyeshadow palette. So I created a warm, colourful look using it. I was so nervous about the judgement, but I went with my gut, and luckily, it was very well received," Diksha shared with a smile. When asked about her makeup inspiration, she credited the likes of Malvika Sitlani, James Charles, and Nikkie Tutorials. "Through Malvika's content, I learnt to keep up with the Indian beauty industry; James Charles taught me how to step out of the box and create uniqueness; Nikkie taught me patience and precision." Her process of creating a new look is a testament to her dedication. "I have been passionate about makeup since college; since then, I kept trying different looks and products with the help of beauty gurus. After a few months, I decided to show my passion towards makeup to people on Instagram. This happened for the sole reason of showcasing my skills," she revealed. Lockdown allowed her to be more consistent and resilient, even in the face of minimal results. Her perseverance paid off when she joined a makeup school, took on clients, hosted online workshops, and proved to her parents that content creation could lead to a stable career. "Little did I know then that I could make a full-time career out of it. I've learnt, 'If there's a passion within you, the mind finds a way to work things out,'" she expressed with profound wisdom. As we delved into her daily makeup essentials, Diksha shared her must-haves: sunscreen, a concealer of her shade, a cream blush, loose powder, mascara, and lip gloss. And her current favourite product? "Wow, that's quite difficult. If I had to choose one, it'd be the Smashbox halo healthy glow one-tinted moisturiser," she revealed. For aspiring creators, Diksha's advice is empowering. "Be confident in your skill, do not be afraid of judgement, don't be shy to ask for help; I still ask for help/gain knowledge from fellow creators, be humble, do not get disheartened if your content doesn't work well. All you have to do is remind yourself why you started in the first place and up-skill yourself." Looking ahead, her goals for her Instagram account reflect her dedication to her audience. "I intend to create more content and upscale with time. I also love helping my audience with product recommendations and the issues they face in makeup and skincare," she shared. Diksha's journey from a makeup enthusiast to a thriving influencer reflects the power of passion, creativity, and perseverance. She continues to inspire and guide makeup enthusiasts worldwide through her captivating content. As we concluded the interview, I couldn't help but feel inspired by her story—a testament to the belief that following one's passion with determination can lead to fulfilling and successful ventures. Diksha Sachdev's success story is a reminder that authenticity and dedication stand out in the vast world of influencers and content creators. Her journey inspires aspiring makeup artists and content creators, showing them that with a touch of creativity and a sprinkle of confidence, they, too, can make a mark in the ever-evolving landscape of the beauty industry. So, remember Diksha's words of wisdom, whether you're an aspiring makeup artist or looking to delve into content creation. Find your passion, be true to yourself, and let your creativity shine. - Thirteenth - Century Angkor Was Home To More People Than Modern Boston
by Priti Sharma by Priti Sharma Thirteenth - Century Angkor Was Home To More People Than Modern Boston 18 February 2023 TRAVEL Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement The Southeast Asian city of Angkor, famous for the Angkor Wat temple, had between 700,000 and 900,000 residents in the 13th century. With this number, Angkor becomes one of the biggest cities before the modern era. It's also comparable in size to many modern cities; Boston, for example, had around 693,000 residents in 2019. The city’s remains, currently in northwest Cambodia, are well-known for their stone temples, structures, and infrastructure. With the use of scanning technology, archaeologists could spot the remains of buildings made of wood and less resilient materials outside Angkor's "downtown" region. They have vanished without a trace since the majority of their structures were built of wood, thatch, and bamboo. The remnants of Yasodharapura's walls, reservoirs, roadways, and, most importantly, its religious structures—which were constructed of stone and laterite to worship the Buddha or a pantheon of Indian gods—are how we learned about this city that was abandoned in the sixteenth century. When Angkor Wat was first constructed, Suryavarman II was a strong ruler who used it as both a mausoleum and a monument. Over a square mile is devoted to the Vishnu shrine. The Ramayana, an Indian epic, as well as incidents from Suryavarman's life are shown in the base relief's exquisite carving. They also display the god of the underworld, Yama, sending people to heaven or to hell. A sophisticated culture, "Angkor" had its rulers at the top of the social hierarchy. The majority of those who constructed the temples and produced sustenance for the aristocracy were rice farmers, and they employed methods that have largely remained unchanged to the current day. The Khmer people were skilled carpenters and gifted stone and wood carvers. Impressive reservoirs and razor-sharp roadways connecting Cambodian cities were built by Khmer engineers, and many of the temples still bear intricate inscriptions that were written by Khmer poets. Warriors from Cambodia assaulted nearby kingdoms and guarded Yasodharapura against invasion. Many of these "ordinary" contributions are overlooked when we visit the temples or see the ethereal traditional dance of Cambodia. After Jayavarman's demise, Yasodharapura continued to be a magnificent and rich city for at least two hundred years. Following a Thai army assault in 1431, it was mostly abandoned. Soon after, the center of government in Cambodia moved to the south. A Cambodian monarch visited the old city in the 1500s, repaired a few temples, and presumably spent some time living in Yasodharapura. Angkor Wat was often visited by pilgrims, and a Buddhist monastery stood next to the temple for many years. However, Yasodharapura was abandoned by the outside world, and the jungle gradually took it over. The amazingly creative and engineering prowess that the ruins show makes up for its "heritage." In addition to the open-minded, resourceful, and tough people who struggle to make ends meet in their impoverished, congested country while keeping testimony to their magnificent heritage, these abilities are on display today in Cambodian classical dance. A tropical metropolis, Angkor endured centuries of political and climatic unpredictability. Urban planners may be able to better grasp some of the limitations that an increasing number of the world's cities confront by tracking the phenomenon's development and tipping point. - The Queen Of The Unconventional Pantless Trend: Kristen Stewart
The Queen Of The Unconventional Pantless Trend: Kristen Stewart By Rini Pathak The Queen Of The Unconventional Pantless Trend: Kristen Stewart 16 March 2024 FASHION Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement Pulling off the ultimate boss babe avatar, looks like Kristen Stewart has mastered the latest pantless trend. The Twilight alum’s clothing is dominated by corpcore, and it shows. During her trip to New York for the film’s marketing, Love Lies Bleeding, the actress showcased her daring side by joining the micro shorts craze exactly one week after she made her red carpet debut at the Los Angeles premiere of the film, only sporting a cut-out high-leg backless leotard and tights that took the no pants trend to heights of next level. Her all-black outfit of the day from Brunello Cucinelli, an Italian premium label, including a nude collared shirt with one button closed and the others open. A carefree mood emanated from the rolled sleeves and side pocket. Peeking out from underneath was a neutral-toned Victoria’s Secret bralette. The crocheted beige panties with brown borders were the true focal point of the ensemble. Kristen put all her trust in that tiny outfit. Her sole accessories were silver statement rings and brown-tinted sunglasses, and her elegant avatar was completed with a black quilted Gucci purse. Wearing two distinct styles of micro shorts in a single day; it certainly seems like she is currently competing with Kendall Jenner to be the unofficial style icon. Later on the very same day, Kristen did make a little alteration to her appearance by wearing maroon loafers with tassels instead of heels, buttoning all but the top few buttons on her shirt, and putting her disheveled hair up in a messy updo. A complete change of clothes happened later in the same day. Kristen wore a black t-shirt with side panels and lace sleeves this time. It had a high neck. The top also had a white collar, and the chest was adorned with a tiny white Chanel insignia. Kristen accessorized it with the same maroon shoes from earlier in the day, black leg warmers bearing the Chanel logo, and high-waist black sports style micro shorts with a white trim. She wore black Ray-Ban wayfarers instead of red-tinted geometric sunglasses, and her hair was done in an updo with a wet effect. Tara Swennen, Kristen’s stylist, was responsible for both of her fits. She is also the person behind her risqué leotard appearance. Tara’s styling of these ensembles reads almost as a critique on current fashion trends. The majority of people don’t feel comfortable wearing pantless suits, skimpy clothing, or open-collared shirts on a daily basis. However, seeing Stewart’s lingerie so prominently displayed serves as a reminder that, despite their celebrity status, celebrities also have physical concerns. Essentially, Kristen Stewart’s style selections are a reflection of her unshakable sincerity and defiance of social norms. Regardless of whether she’s walking the red carpet or hitting the streets, Stewart’s sense of style continues to be a tribute to uniqueness, personal expression, and the ability of fashion to change lives. True style has no borders, as Kristen Stewart consistently pushes boundaries and defies expectations. When it comes to personal care, one size rarely fits all. That’s why WishCare, known for its ingredient-led, solution-focused formulas, has launched three high-performance essentials on Nykaa that are tailor-made for your most stubborn skin and scalp concerns. From fighting chronic hair fall to banishing dandruff and balancing oily skin under the sun, these products deliver serious results backed by clean formulations and glowing reviews. Let’s start at the top, your scalp. If your hairbrush is starting to look like a thatched roof, this gentle yet effective shampoo could be the intervention you need. Powered by a potent blend of rice water, multi-peptides, rosemary, and caffeine, this shampoo is a scalp-friendly, sulfate-free solution that strengthens hair from the roots while promoting growth and reducing breakage. Its lightweight formula produces a rich lather without drying out your scalp, making it ideal for oily to combination scalps. What users love? “My hair feels stronger after just a week,” says one reviewer. Others swear by its mild fragrance and how it helps reduce both dandruff and hair fall. At just ₹495, this is the kind of everyday essential your shower shelf deserves. Furthermore, when it comes to flakes and itchiness it’s more than just an inconvenience, they can tank your confidence. WishCare’s dandruff-control shampoo tackles the issue from the roots with AHA and BHA, two exfoliants that gently lift away buildup and dead skin while maintaining your scalp’s moisture balance. Unlike harsh anti-dandruff shampoos, this one hydrates as it exfoliates, keeping sensitivity at bay and restoring scalp health with regular use. It’s especially ideal for those who suffer from recurring dandruff but hate the drying effects of typical formulas. Bonus points for being vegan, cruelty-free, and sulfate-free, proving that gentle doesn’t mean ineffective. And once your scalp feels balanced and refreshed, it's time to turn your attention to your skin, because WishCare’s expertise doesn’t just stop at hair. Which brings us to WishCare’s sunscreen which isn’t just sun protection, it’s skincare. Infused with 5% niacinamide, Zinc PCA, ceramides, CICA, and oat extract, this fluid SPF offers a weightless, non-greasy, and completely white-cast-free experience. It sinks into oily and acne-prone skin like a dream, mattifying instantly while improving your skin barrier over time. It’s rare to find a sunscreen that plays well under makeup, doesn’t clog pores, and still provides broad-spectrum SPF 50 PA++++ protection, but this one checks all those boxes. Reviewers rave about how it “feels like skincare” and how it’s helped calm breakouts while keeping skin shine-free all day. What is astonishing is that all these three products are vegan, cruelty-free, and free from sulfates and parabens, proving that clean beauty can be powerful too. With each priced at an affordable ₹495 and backed by Nykaa’s trusted platform, you don’t have to compromise on results, ethics, or price. Whether you're looking to stop hairfall in its tracks, clear out stubborn dandruff, or finally find a sunscreen that doesn’t make you greasy, WishCare’s power trio on Nykaa is your shortcut to visible, lasting results. - I want a chance to play different kinds of roles: Ishita Dutta talks about her career, upcoming projects and being typecast in certain roles
I want a chance to play different kinds of roles: Ishita Dutta talks about her career, upcoming projects and being typecast in certain roles by Rupashree Ravi I want a chance to play different kinds of roles: Ishita Dutta talks about her career, upcoming projects and being typecast in certain roles 30 June 2022 COVER STORIES Advertisement Popular actress and model, Ishita Dutta is known for her versatile roles in both films and television shows. In an exclusive interview, the actress, who is currently shooting for Drishyam 2, spoke about her experience in the industry and the kind of roles she wants to explore. In this ever-changing industry where there is immense talent and competition, leaving a mark is often not easy. It needs a lot of hard work and dedication, along with luck, Dutta shared. “In any industry, leaving a mark when you are really good at your job is very hard. But in our industry, there’s also a little bit of luck factor which I feel exists at the right place and at the right time. Sometimes, you may be perfect for a certain role but somebody else might get it. I really do believe in destiny and luck, but that doesn’t take away the fact that you have to work hard, be very talented and do a great job to leave that mark. In the end, the audience needs to love you and your work,” she added. Dutta started her career in 2012, starring in the Telugu film Chanakyudu. The following year, she made her television debut in the Star Plus serial Ek Ghar Banaunga. Since then, she has gone on to star in many television serials, music videos and films. Talking about her experience so far as an actress, she said, “My experience in this industry has been fabulous. I, of course, want to do a lot more projects and there’s a lot to explore. Sometimes I feel I still haven’t gotten certain opportunities that I wish for in terms of roles or certain projects or working with certain people, but I believe that will happen in time. But I have had a very good experience with all the people I have worked with so far. They’ve been very nice and supportive. I have learnt and enjoyed a lot. I love everything about being an actor.” In 2015, Dutta made her Bollywood film debut with Drishyam, alongside Ajay Devgn, Tabu and Shriya Saran. The film was a big success and Dutta received positive reviews for her performance as Anju Salgaonkar, the daughter of Ajay Devgn’s character. “We have started filming for Drishyam 2 and I’m really excited about it. It’s happening after six years and I think people are going to enjoy it. The film is also more interesting than the first part, so I’m really looking forward to it. There’s another film that I’d be working on with my husband, Vatsal. We’re going to be back on screen after a really long time. Apart from these, there are a couple of projects lined up at the end of this year, which I’m excited about,” she said, while talking about her current and upcoming projects. Actresses usually have role models who inspire and influence their careers. They cite great actors as their inspirations. But for Dutta, inspiration is something that comes from anywhere, any platform and language. “I believe there is so much content available and you’re constantly watching so many films, characters, and actors who do such great jobs and you get inspired. There are many people, actors, and characters that have really inspired me and they make me want to do a better job every day,” she shared. When asked where she sees her acting career taking her, she said, “Honestly, I don’t think about where I’m going, where I’m headed, or what’s going to happen after a certain number of years. I look at what’s happening currently, take up good projects that come for me and make the best out of them. I try to live in the present so I’ll be happy wherever my acting career takes me. I will just follow what my destiny has in store for me.” Dutta shared that she is often typecast as a simple girl in films. She wishes to play different roles and characters. “To be very honest, I still feel I haven’t really played a character who is very different. I somehow tend to get very similar characters like the girl next door. I have not really done an outright negative role. I did play a cop in the action film, Blank. I had to do a lot of action in the film and my body language was very different, which I enjoyed. But I think most of my characters have been very positive and simple. This is what I really want to change as an actor. I want a chance to play different kinds of roles and do something that is different from what people normally presume me to be,” she added. The entertainment industry can be a hard place for actresses, who are often body shamed and trolled in social media. Women empowerment and body positivity is much needed in the industry. Dutta shared her views on feminism and said, “I totally support women empowerment and I am absolutely against people who body shame others. Body shaming has been happening for decades and its high time people be sensitive toward others. Let people make decisions about their own bodies. Everyone has a different body type. You can be of any shape and size. I believe people should simply focus on being healthy, eating right, and sleeping on time.” Further, she thanked her fans and viewers for all their love and support. She advised the younger generation not to get influenced by the glamour of social media. “Don’t let negativity and trolls get to you. Try to be grounded and stand up for other people,” she added. Through the transparency in their bond, she hopes to inspire a kinder and more compassionate generation. Sacrifices of Women Rinima believes that women should never give up on their dreams, even after marriage. Marriage and family are essential sources of love and support, but they shouldn't be the reasons to compromise one's aspirations. “Every woman deserves the opportunity to pursue her passions, grow personally and professionally, and continue to evolve beyond her roles as a wife or mother.” Rinima grew up surrounded by strong, intelligent women who embodied both power and humility. They taught her that true beauty comes from purpose, intellect, and integrity. Overcoming insecurities and learning to embrace her true self has helped her become the confident woman she is today. Being a part of Mrs. India Inc and winning title of Mrs. India Galaxy is all about embracing authenticity & not fitting into a mould. Mrs India reinforced her belief that women should have the freedom to make her own choices, and “I’m proud to be part of the movement changing societal norms”. Breaking Stereotypes & Empowering Women Every Indian woman should be able to make her own decision. The world of beauty pageants has come a long way, and she gives herself as an example to this evolution. “I’m 5'4 and have tattoos, something that would have been unthinkable for a beauty queen in the past. “These platforms are paving the way for inclusive representation, celebrating women of all ages, marital statuses, and unique traits” proving that strength and authenticity are the new gold standards. Despite facing domestic violence and countless challenges for her, giving up was never an option from concealing her bruises with makeup, she faced the world with unmatched strength with a smile on her face which even gave strength to her during the contest. "For women like me, resilience isn’t just a trait—it’s a necessity.” Her journey is a true representation of power "Indian women are breaking moulds, challenging norms, and proving that they’re not just resilient, but also leaders and changemakers." Balanced meal - cheatmeal? Cheat meal? No not for me," she says with a smile. I find joy in the simplicity of good meals, i love eating "Khichdi with potatoes, coriander, and a side of papad and pickle is my ultimate comfort food." When it comes to fitness my philosophy is all about balance. "I believe in enjoying my favourite foods without guilt, focusing on portion control and staying consistent” balance and moderation is a key to great health and a healthy lifestyle. Imagine being a judge & curating a round As per her perspective, if she were a judge she would introduce a debate round to give contestants a platform to showcase their views and intellect. It would not only allow the audience and judges to understand each contestant’s perspectives but also will help in checking the confidence, and critical thinking ability. “A healthy debate would encourage mutual respect, inspire growth, and highlight diverse perspectives on real-world issues, ensuring we choose the best candidate to represent India on the global stage”. Empowering Women through change Rinima’s journey shows the strength of resilience, authenticity, and believing in herself. Through every challenge, she has embraced who she truly is, inspiring others to do the same. As she continues to break barriers and redefine beauty, her story reminds us that true strength comes from being ourselves, and Beauty shines brightest when it’s rooted in purpose and integrity SEARCH Why does Fashion Need Fashion Shows FASHION From Dreams To Crowns: Anuradha Garg’s Inspiring Mrs. India Story FASHION Colour Psychology in Fashion: Explained FASHION Legendary Female Icons Who Made Fashion Statements In The 20th Century FASHION The House of Chanel: History FASHION POPULAR POSTS Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement By Sakshi Shah This Editorial Began Beyond The Studio Walls 10 March 2026 FASHION By Sakshi Shah Manish Malhotra Unfolds A Couture Finale At Dubai Fashion Week 11 February 2026 FASHION By Sakshi Shah At Dubai Fashion Week, Day Five Unfolded — Krésha Bajaj In Focus 9 February 2026 FASHION By Sakshi Shah Day Four At Dubai Fashion Week AW 26-27 Was About Designers Owning Their Voice 8 February 2026 FASHION RELATED POSTS Advertisement
- The story of the suicide forest: Japan’s suicide forest
by Aishwarya by Aishwarya The story of the suicide forest: Japan’s suicide forest 1 November 2022 TRAVEL Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement What does come to your mind, when you hear the word “forest”? Well, for obvious reasons, you would think about lush green space, a ton of trees, breezy and cool, and a very peaceful place. A forest that isn’t known for its peaceful atmosphere, but rather a disturbing truth, is a weird thing, right? There is a forest in Japan that has the reputation and recognition for having the second-highest number of suicides happening there. It gets even more spooky when the locals over there claim the forest to be possessed by the spirits of the suicide victims. This is the story of a forest in Japan, named Aokigahara Forest, located northwest of Mount Fuji. The entrance of the forest warns its visitors, to “Think carefully about your children, your family. Your life is a precious gift from your parents. Quietly think once more about your parents, siblings or children. Please don’t suffer alone, and first, reach out.” These are the words that are adorned at the entrance of Aokigahara Forest. This forest is globally known as the Suicide Forest. It is the second most famous place for suicides, the first being the Golden Gate Bridge. The forest is spread across a huge area of 35 sq km, giving it the name “Sea of Trees”. It is believed that getting lost in the forest is a very common thing here, and the way out of it is an impossible mission. With a story so dark, it is pretty common to have a reputation for it being possessed. According to Japanese mythology, the forest is said to be home to Yurei- which means ghosts of the dead. As per the official statements , around 105 bodies were discovered in the forest, in the year 2003. Most of the bodies were severely decomposed and/or eaten by wild animals. Due to its story, many Japanese spiritualists believe that the suicides have permeated the trees, which results in paranormal activities in the forest. People often lose their way inside the forest, as the technologies and devices such as compasses and mobile phones fail here. It is due to the deposits of magnetic iron created by the volcanic salt in this region. The devices start behaving weirdly and show wrong directions. Now, this is the reason, it's an impossible mission to find your way out of this forest. People also believe that the bodies of suicide victims should not be left alone in the forest. They believe that it is bad luck for the victims and often their spirits cry and scream for help, and also move their bodies. Now, we don’t know how true it is, but the belief of some people cannot be ignored just because it isn’t proven. Keeping this in the mind, the forest workers bring them back and keep them in a special room at the local forest police station. Many experts have researched why people choose to die in this forest. Almost three decades ago, a Japanese psychiatrist interviewed some Aokigahara suicide survivors and wrote that a key reason for their selection was that “they believed that they would be able to die successfully without being noticed.” Another psychiatrist, Dr Yoshitomo Takahashi, believed that movies and media reports have played a role in influencing people. He also said that they might have wanted to “share the same place with others and belong to the same group”. The nation has been taking steps to curb suicides, over the years. Security cameras are being set at the entrances, hoping to track those who walk inside, according to Imasa Watanabe of the Yamanashi prefectural government. The local government has also opted for suicide prevention methods, such as raising the bridge rails' height, having volunteered to talk to and convince suicidal visitors, increasing police patrolling and discouraging movies and TV shows to not promote the forest as a suicide forest. With a reputation so dark, Aokigahara Forest has failed to be peaceful and beautiful, as a forest should be. We need to know that, suicide doesn’t end your problem but rather removes you and replaces your family & loved ones, in your problem. There is a forest in Japan that has the reputation and recognition for having the second-highest number of suicides happening there. It gets even more spooky when the locals over there claim the forest to be possessed by the spirits of the suicide victims. #SuicideForest #AokigaharaForest #Suicide #MentalHealth #Japan #SeaofTrees #TravelFacts SEARCH The Fashion Capitals Of Asia: Exploring Style Beyond Borders TRAVEL Unveiling Delights Of Hotel Palazzo Versace Gem Of Dubai TRAVEL 7 Abandoned Cities In India And Abroad That Are Too Beautiful To Be Forgotten TRAVEL airBaltic Makes Global Debut On World’s Safest Airlines List TRAVEL Revolutionizing Air Travel: Qatar Airways Introduces AI-Powered Booking With Sama TRAVEL POPULAR POSTS Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement By Shriniwas Kodape The Peninsula Bangkok: Grace Beside The Chao Phraya 4 October 2025 TRAVEL By Shriniwas Kodape 64 Floors Up: Lebua At State Tower Perspective 4 October 2025 TRAVEL By Shriniwas Kodape Four Seasons Bangkok: Where The River Holds Its Breath 17 September 2025 TRAVEL By Shriniwas Kodape Neon, Smoke, And Chili Fire: A Night In Bangkok’s Chinatown 2 September 2025 TRAVEL RELATED POSTS Advertisement

- Shadows & Silk: Bunny Nana’s Aw Romance In Bangkok
Shadows & Silk: Bunny Nana’s Aw Romance In Bangkok By Ananya Patankar Shadows & Silk: Bunny Nana’s Aw Romance In Bangkok 9 July 2025 FASHION Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement Crafting Bespoke Elegance: From Hong Kong to Thailand’s Runway Muted dove gray and structured elegance meet in this tailored overcoat, redefining winter wear with bridal precision and couture restraint: that’s how Bunny Nana took over the runway. Bunny Nana, hailing from Hong Kong, has long championed the art of made-to-measure elegance. Best known for its bespoke bridal and evening wear, the brand merges impeccable craftsmanship with a poetic sense of storytelling. Every gown, every seam, is designed to celebrate individuality—quietly luxurious, deeply personal, and effortlessly romantic. This season, stepping away from ornate tradition and into a more nuanced, textural world, Bunny Nana brought its signature grace to Thailand Fashion Week , unveiling an Autumn/Winter collection that whispered sophistication in every thread. Nana’s Autumn/Winter collection leaned into the language of fabric—where texture replaced embellishment, and movement spoke louder than metallics. Sumptuous silks, brushed satins, and fluid crepe took center stage, each selected for how it draped, caught light, or responded to motion. The palette stayed understated—ivory, dove grey, soft charcoal—allowing the quality of the textiles to command attention. There was a quiet luxury in the restraint: no sequins, no excess—just folds, flow, and finish. Whether it was a structured wool-blend coat with architectural shoulders or a silk gown that swept the floor like mist, every piece was a tactile experience. In a world often obsessed with embellishment, Bunny Nana’s choice to let fabric lead was both a design philosophy and a statement of confidence—showing that true romance can live in simplicity. This collection paid attention to making a statement, one which voices that silhouettes can stir emotions. The runway unfolded with opulent gowns that moved like whispered secrets—draped silk and crepe forming liquid lines that trailed behind the model like memory. Off-shoulder necklines revealed delicate collarbones, while subtle pleats added softness without overwhelming the structure. Contrasting this ethereality were moments of architectural clarity: tailored outerwear in sculpted wool, with clean shoulders and cinched waists that nodded to bridal corsetry without feeling constrained. Flowing capes, some sheer and others fully lined, created a cinematic sense of motion—part cloak, part veil. This interplay between form and fluidity, control and release, defined the collection’s romance. Each look felt personal, like a silhouette designed to echo its wearer’s energy. Whether worn for a winter ceremony or an evening affair, these shapes were less about trend and more about timeless emotional design. Each look was crafted to instill a feeling, stir emotions of romance, gracefulness and echo timelessness. This collection felt right at home within Bangkok’s refined fashion landscape—one that increasingly favors elegance with intention. The label’s commitment to craftsmanship and quiet beauty aligned effortlessly with the event’s broader celebration of Asian minimalism. In a sea of spectacle, Bunny Nana’s subdued grandeur stood out, not by demanding attention, but by rewarding it. Each look moved with purpose, echoing the cultural value placed on grace, poise, and personalization. The show felt less like a presentation and more like a procession of living portraits—each garment tailored not just in cut, but in spirit. In a region where storytelling is intrinsic to design, Bunny Nana’s narrative of bespoke romance resonated deeply, making it one of the most poetic highlights of the week. Bunny Nana’s Autumn/Winter collection wasn’t just a seasonal offering—it was a quiet revolution in how romance can be worn. With restraint as its canvas and craftsmanship as its voice, the brand delivered a story that lingered long after the final look. In a world chasing spectacle, Bunny Nana reminded us of the power in subtlety. Because sometimes, the softest silhouettes leave the strongest impression.
