  • Raveena Mehta, The Rising Phoenix

Raveena Mehta, The Rising Phoenix by Naisargi Devdher Raveena Mehta, The Rising Phoenix 17 September 2022 COVER STORIES Advertisement The beautiful and incredulous singer, Raveena Mehta talks about her journey of becoming a singer and the path of good mental health that can lead one there. This story comes from the very depth of Raveena Mehta's journey as an artist, especially with the Pandemic hitting the world hard. Speaking of which, she mentions, "When the pandemic hit, I lived in my home studio. I have a home set up where I record a lot of my music. I decided to get into a routine to make a cover everyday and worked on composing. This led me to release around 7 songs in 2020 which was a great feeling. It has been incredible to see the way India has digitized over the last two years, an immense amount of technological progress." Speaking of success, it's one of the most beautiful feelings in the entire world; when reality strikes an artist! It just glows over the body and the mind, when the artist makes it big in the industry. However, Raveena does not recollect any such moment where she realized she was going big, but continues to say, "I don't think there was ever such a moment where I realised I was going big, but when I was approached to demo with 'Casanova Acoustic', that felt pretty great! Reality striking was never a daunting thing, reality is also what you make of it and depends on how you are viewing your cup, hopefully always half full. I also believe maintaining a small inner circle is one of the most important things to remain grounded and level headed in a whirlwind of an industry." Raveena is not only successful nationally but recognised for her talent all over the globe, at film festivals and red carpets. Raveena exclaims gratefully, "For artists, it is always incredible to be able to see your work being recognised globally. I find it endearing when my Hindi songs are appreciated in Cannes. When I was there for the Film festival, it felt brilliant to know the music that comes from India is so sought after." Singing soulfully has always reached to the most interior bosom of a being and in doing so, Raveena Mehta has attained incredulous levels of success! "I define success with deriving happiness. I tend to keep myself and my headspace quite process oriented and so I find happiness in smaller, process driven moments. Of course, when I release a song and I can see that people appreciate the music, that most definitely also makes me feel successful. Success for me means earning respect and focusing on my happiness." When the appreciation of fans and people hits, the gaze is difficult to handle. The expectations, the build ups or the love is tedious and risky to respond to! Raveena truly respects all her listeners and fans, understanding that respecting them would earn her respect! "I truly respect all my listeners and fans. I feel blessed to know that people out there listen to and appreciate my music. I try to meet their expectations with my music. I truly feel like as an artist, you have to strike a balance between the things that want to be heard from you and the things you wish to create, remaining authentic and yourself. There’s a happy medium in there somewhere." When the audience speculate rumours, or show disrespect towards the art and the song, many artists feel undervalued. Everyone is entitled to their own tastes and opinions. To this day, in the world, the fear of a song being perceived incorrectly, is tremendous and has the capacity of wrecking one's mental health. Raveena, reflects on both, the expectations of people as well as one's mental health. "In my opinion, music is art and ultimately art is subjective and open to interpretation. To that point, I feel it becomes imperative to try to detach yourself from the work to an extent; so you can allow the work to grow and evolve wholeheartedly. I personally don't think I have ever felt too worried about a song being misinterpreted or misunderstood." Raveena also talks about how one's mental peace is key while working in a creative field. Creating can only be brought forward with a clear mind and peaceful environment. "Mental health is everything. I believe strongly in preserving one's mental sanctity, constantly focusing on self betterment and doing the things that make you the best version of yourself. These are definitely deliberate efforts and as for me, singing and drawing is therapeutic and it definitely helps me remain in touch with myself." Having said that, a lot of discipline is required from one's team as well. Every form of art, including a well produced album requires a strong and disciplined team. Raveena also comments on the same saying, "One annoying trait for me is tardiness, I generally find it annoying especially if it is concerning work for example in the form of a meeting. But hey, I also recognise that Mumbai traffic is also very hectic." Hectic schedules and a demanding creative field, on several instances, can also lead to mind blocks. Raveena adds, "If I ever have a mind block while i’m working, I tend to take some time for myself; I either go for a walk or do something that brings me a lot of peace. I try to disassociate any kind of pressure that is possibly creating a wall between my thoughts and inspiration." This global icon reinforced the importance of being true to herself while retaining the soul of her music and the integrity of her sound. However while acknowledging all of it, she remarked on a very beautiful note, "I find that sometimes in chasing trends, it is very easy to lose the soul of the music. In today's age with reels, tiktok and instant gratification which is equally as important to generating viewership, this can also be a double edged sword. While a lot of today's artists consider trends, it is also important to consider and retain the soul and integrity of your sound." While a lot of today's artists consider trends, it is also important to consider and retain the soul and integrity of your sound. #raveenamehta #singer #TujhseMilneKiAas #coverstory SEARCH A Journey Shaped By Courage, Creativity, And Social Media With Aditi Sharma COVER STORIES Inner Joy Trails My Inspiration : A Candid Conversation With The Creative Anushka Kaushik COVER STORIES Barkha Singh’s candid candour makes the way to an eye-catching interview COVER STORIES Educate, Empower, Excel: Priyanka Chahar Choudhary's Inspirational Overture COVER STORIES Waluscha De Sousa On Being Her ‘True Self’ And Going On The Dream Journey COVER STORIES POPULAR POSTS Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement By Shriniwas Kodape The Eternal Strings Of Amaan & Ayaan Ali Bangash 4 October 2025 COVER STORIES By Anurag Sen Vivian Dsena: The Fluke Star Who Became Television’s Undying Heartthrob 25 September 2025 COVER STORIES By Ananya Patankar Unscripted, Unstoppable: The Many Lives Of Christine Gulasatree 22 August 2025 COVER STORIES By Ananya Patankar Off Script, On Truth: Anshumaan Pushkar In His Own Words 30 June 2025 COVER STORIES RELATED POSTS Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement

  • The Rise Of Nisha Ahuja: Balancing Passion And Profession

The Rise Of Nisha Ahuja: Balancing Passion And Profession By Anushka Sharma The Rise Of Nisha Ahuja: Balancing Passion And Profession 14 August 2024 FASHION Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement In the ever-evolving landscape of content creation, Nisha Ahuja is emerging as a standout figure whose journey is as inspiring as it is remarkable. Combining a deep-rooted passion for fashion with a methodical approach to content creation, Nisha's ascent to prominence reflects both dedication and strategic foresight. Nisha’s journey began with a simple but profound love for fashion. "I always had a passion for fashion and creating content," she shares. Her venture into the world of content creation was spontaneous yet purposeful. "One day, I just started making Reels. The whole motive was just about my passion for fashion ," she reflects, highlighting the organic nature of her beginnings. A significant breakthrough came just a month into her content creation journey when she secured a contract with Myntra, a leading fashion e-commerce platform. "Myntra actually signed a contract with me for a year," Nisha recounts. This pivotal moment transformed her from an enthusiastic creator posting casually to a structured influencer with a well-planned content calendar. Despite the glamour of brand collaborations, Nisha remains grounded, attributing her success to her genuine enjoyment of the content creation process. "I really loved and enjoyed the process. That’s why I’m still continuing my 9 to 5 and content creation," she explains. Her ability to juggle a stable job with her creative pursuits is a testament to her dedication and exceptional time management skills. Nisha’s insights into the evolving dynamics of content creation offer valuable lessons for aspiring influencers . She sheds light on the barter deals that often characterize early stages in the industry. "They used to give me a voucher of 10k to shop and create content. It wasn’t money, but for fashion people, clothes were a big deal," she notes. However, as creators build their communities and prove their value, she emphasizes the importance of transitioning to fair compensation. "Once you’ve built a community and can provide brands with value, creators deserve to be paid. Nothing comes for free." Balancing a corporate career with content creation is no small feat, and Nisha's approach is both practical and inspiring. "If you have responsibilities and need stable income, a job is essential. But if you're passionate, you should explore content creation as a career option," she advises. Her ability to excel in both realms underscores her organizational prowess and passion for her work. The content creation industry is rife with opportunities, and Nisha is optimistic about its future. She encourages greater inclusivity, noting, "There are a lot of opportunities for everyone," and urges more men to explore this field. Yet, she also cautions against the pitfalls of relying solely on barter collaborations, advocating for a shift towards paid engagements as creators gain experience. Nisha's success is highlighted by a viral reel that amassed 16 million views, a testament to her relatable and engaging content. "It’s a lovely feeling, but it attracts a lot of attention, not all of it positive. Still, the recognition from brands is invaluable," she reflects, demonstrating her resilience amidst the challenges of fame. In addition to fashion, Nisha delves into lifestyle and food content, showcasing her versatility and creative spirit. Her talent for transforming thrifted pieces into fashionable outfits resonates with her audience, reflecting her ability to push creative boundaries. Inspired by creators like Komal Pandey, Nisha continues to experiment and innovate within the fashion space. To combat creative burnout, Nisha advocates for regular breaks and reconnecting with nature. "Timely breaks are important. I do yoga and listen to Sadhguru’s videos to recharge myself," she shares. Her approach to maintaining a healthy work-life balance is crucial in the fast-paced world of social media. As Nisha navigates her engagement and family responsibilities, she appreciates the multifaceted role of managing both personal and professional aspects of life. "It's a task, but I really appreciate girls who are managing families and content creation. It's like your own little business, and you're working 24x7," she says, acknowledging the dedication required to balance these roles. Looking forward, Nisha envisions a future filled with opportunities and accolades. "I want to be seen and appreciated for my content. I see myself working with big brands and designers, doing fashion shows, and receiving awards," she concludes, underscoring her entrepreneurial spirit and relentless drive. Nisha Ahuja’s journey exemplifies how passion, hard work, and resilience can lead to extraordinary success. As the content creation industry continues to evolve, her story serves as a powerful reminder of what can be achieved with dedication and a clear vision. • A Journey Shaped By Courage, Creativity, And Social Media With Aditi Sharma

A Journey Shaped By Courage, Creativity, And Social Media With Aditi Sharma By Anushka Sharma A Journey Shaped By Courage, Creativity, And Social Media With Aditi Sharma 19 October 2024 COVER STORIES Advertisement In a realm where opportunity often knocks in unexpected ways, Aditi Sharma's story shines as a beacon of resilience and creativity. Known for her vibrant presence on screen and her fearless stint on "Khatron Ke Khiladi," Aditi’s journey is a blend of passion, social media savvy, and sheer determination. To Fearless Beginnings: Conquering Khatron Ke Khiladi: Starting the conversation with her experience on the adrenaline-pumping reality show, Aditi shared how "Khatron Ke Khiladi" was nothing short of a once-in-a-lifetime adventure. Handling scorpions and jumping into deep waters was daunting, yet exhilarating. It was a test of physical endurance and mental strength, but Aditi embraced every challenge. Despite her short run on the show, she left with memories that transformed her. “Most of the things were very scary,” she reflects. “But it’s also real fun because, in the end, you’re doing something you never thought possible. I used to not be afraid of water, but after the show, I have a new respect for deep water. It was a different feeling.” From YouTube to Stardom: A Dream Takes Flight: Unlike many who set their sights on acting through traditional channels, Aditi's journey began in the digital realm. During her college days, she dreamed of being on screen but didn’t know where to begin. Starting on YouTube while studying journalism and mass communication, she hoped her presence would someday lead to bigger opportunities. And it did. Her first break came with a Clean & Clear face wash commercial, which took her to Bangkok on her first international trip. That advertisement opened doors for more projects, and social media played a crucial role in her rise to fame. “Social media was everything for me,” she says. “It’s how people discovered me, from YouTube videos to getting shortlisted for magazine shoots. That was my entry into the industry.” Navigating the Roller Coaster of Life in Entertainment: Aditi admits that her career has been a roller coaster, marked by highs and lows. The nature of the industry is unpredictable, with periods of intense work followed by moments of waiting for the next big opportunity. Yet, Aditi has embraced the ride, finding joy in every experience. Her role in Yeh Jaadu Hai Jinn Ka remains one of her most cherished memories. The magical storyline, combined with the physical demands of the role—such as performing stunts and working with harnesses—challenged her creatively and pushed her boundaries. “Every project I’ve worked on holds a special place in my heart, but that show was particularly close to me. It was a creative playground where imagination ran wild.” All About The Love for Travel and Finding Balance: Though her schedule is often packed with 12-14 hour shoots, Aditi carves out time for her other passion—travel. She fondly recalls her trips to the Maldives, a place she calls “breathtaking,” for its serenity and beauty. Whether it’s enjoying a romantic getaway or simply relaxing with friends, Maldives remains her favorite destination. Despite the long working hours, Aditi emphasizes the importance of balance. She begins each day with a 30-minute workout to boost her energy, which she credits for keeping her physically and mentally fresh. Her night routine is just as essential, helping her unwind and recharge for the next day. To Looking Ahead: Aditi’s Ambitions for the Future: When asked about her future goals, we realized that Aditi is private, but hopeful. She aspires to work on larger projects, including collaborations with directors like Imtiaz Ali and Neeraj Pandey. “I see myself growing in both my personal and professional life, but I believe in keeping my dreams close until they come true.” Aditi’s journey, from her YouTube days to becoming a household name, is a testament to the power of perseverance, innovation, and adaptability. In an age where social media can be a gateway to dreams, Aditi is proof that with the right mindset, anything is possible. Her advice to budding actors and creators? “Social media has made things easier, but you still have to put in the work. It’s about making the right use of it, and if you fit the bill, you’ll get the role.” In a fast-evolving industry, Aditi Sharma remains a dynamic force—an actress who not only embraces challenges but also rewrites the narrative of what it means to succeed in today’s digital world. • Sushmita talks about SushDazzles, her YouTube channel

Sushmita talks about SushDazzles, her YouTube channel by Aparajita Jaiswal Sushmita talks about SushDazzles, her YouTube channel 1 October 2020 Advertisement In a freewheel chat with Aparajita Jaiswal, Sushmita, a beauty influencer reveals that she recently hit 100k subscribers on her YouTube channel, SushDazzles. She is an introvert, optimist and a perfectionist, working towards making her dreams come true. As she grows, Sushmita would like to advocate sustainable and vegan options for beauty and skincare products. Sushmita, born and bred in Kolkata, is a beauty influencer with her very own YouTube channel, SushDazzles. She grew very quickly and is celebrating as she recently hit 100k subscribers on her YouTube channel. Sushmita creates celebrity inspired makeup looks and does product reviews on her YouTube channel. She jump-started her career from modelling and then decided to commence her very own YouTube channel, embarking on an independent journey towards being a beauty influencer. “I can unmistakably say that my subscribers inspired me to recreate celebrity looks,” Sushmita says. “I initially started with everyday makeup looks except for one or two random celebrity looks from time to time.” A few videos later she started recreating celebrity-inspired looks using affordable drugstore products. “I noticed in the analytics that many of my subscribers were Gen-Z and were too young to afford high-end products,” Sushmita reveals. Sushmita’s viewers started loving these tutorials and found them extremely helpful and her channel quickly started becoming popular. Sushmita is a typical night owl. She finds the calmness of the night inspiring enough to work on her videos. “A typical day in the week would look like lots of editing and ample number of shoots. I tend to fit in my workout at least thrice a week.” In the last two years, Sushmita has worked with multiple renowned Indian as well as international brands, majority of which are Swedish, American and Korean. “My primary focus is to introduce cruelty free, vegan, plant based and sustainable products to my audience, so whenever there’s an opportunity for me to work with such brands, I gladly accept.” She has worked with quite a few renowned makeup artists from Kolkata as a model. “I used to enjoy the process of getting ready for the shoot and was amazed by their finesse and artistry. It was then that I took an interest in makeup. Next thing I knew, I was watching a lot of YouTube makeup videos. I became familiar with the makeup techniques and terminologies. And my interest kept growing. Meanwhile, I decided to quit my job and start my YouTube channel.” There are multiple things everyone should keep in mind while working in the tough industry of influencers and in the digital world. According to Sushmita, patience, hard work and passion pays off in the end. “Like any other creative field, the most important thing is patience. Then comes hard work and you need to have passion for what you do. You need to love what you are doing and not look at it as a job.” “When I started, I had no experience of creating digital content. The first time I saw the interface of my editing software I started crying and I swear I thought I couldn’t do it. Then I pushed myself because failure was not an option for me. I made innumerable mistakes and I learned a lot from them. I don’t think I would have done anything differently considering the knowledge I have gained from these experiences.” “Coming up with new content is always one of the most challenging parts of the job. Also, since I review a lot of new products, I always run a risk of using something that might not suit me and hence damage my skin.” The number one key to success in the business is to be yourself, Sushmita says. “There is no one like you and that’s your super power. You will find your tribe and people will love you for who you are. My family has been the pillar of strength for me. And I have been reading this book called ‘The untethered Soul’ which is all about the spiritual awakening and the path of spiritual consciousness. The book greatly influenced my strength as well.” Sushmita talks about failures in the most positive manner. “I don’t treat anything as a failure. I treat it as a learning curve. There are times when I do feel a little demotivated, and there are ups and downs, but that feeling is only momentary. Instead of feeling bad about it I start analysing what went wrong and make sure to do it differently in future.” Competition in this industry can get tough, especially on the mind. “The only competition I have is with my own self. What I create today should be better than what I created yesterday. However if things get tough, I take a break, meditate and it helps me re-evaluate the situation, try to see things from a different perspective. The rat race might overwhelm you sometimes. It’s important to set yourself in the right direction.” Sushmita affirms that there is no particular skincare routine she follows to make sure her skin stays healthy and glowing. She tries various products on her review videos therefore constantly changing the products that she uses. Other than the products she uses on her skin, there are a couple of things she constantly keeps in mind throughout the day when it comes to her skincare. “I wash my face twice a day, morning and night, and mainly focus on cleansing and moisturizing. I make sure to use a good moisturizer and sunscreen during the day and vitamin-C serum at night. Other than the basics, my diet takes care of the rest.” Sushmita is a very mindful shopper and plans way before she shops. “I pick a store and then go for it. My favourite high end brands are Smashbox and Huda Beauty. I always wanted to try Charlotte Tilbury. Although, I don’t have any brand that I can’t stand, I wish all brands were cruelty free and Vegan. As I grow, I would like to advocate sustainable and vegan options. Apart from makeup videos I have also created contents on mental health, body shaming, colour differentiating, depression and positivity. I want my audience to be confident about themselves. I wish to create meaningful content so that it adds value to their lives.” Sushmita’s Beauty Gurus are Chloe Morello and Kaushal Beauty. “I love Chloe’s quirkiness and Kaushal’s simplicity. I feel Taylor Hill, Miranda Kerr and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley always have great makeup on. They always look very natural no matter how much makeup they have on. Their makeup is very glowy and dewy and very skin-like and that’s what I love!” When asked, what is the one item you would never leave your house without, she immediately replied, “I would have to say lip balm. I cannot live without a lip balm even for a second!” Sushmita is a huge Marvel fan and spends her time watching Netflix series or psychological thrillers when not held up with work. “I love watching The Big Bang Theory and Friends while having my lunch. I love watching educational YouTube videos where they talk about new scientific discoveries, quantum mechanics, thought experiments, paradoxes etc. I love to sing and I’m learning to play the Ukulele. I like acrylic painting on canvas. I love reading books. • From Blair To Bloomingdale's: The Prep Revival We're Living For

From Blair To Bloomingdale's: The Prep Revival We're Living For By Ananya Patankar From Blair To Bloomingdale's: The Prep Revival We're Living For 18 July 2025 FASHION Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement With spring’s arrival comes a renewed craving for crisp silhouettes and fresh palettes. The preppy aesthetic: clean, classic, and cleverly composed, makes its elegant return, redefined for the women who walk the line between heritage and modernity Preppy style has always whispered rather than shouted. This season, it speaks with a clearer, more expressive tone. Think ballet flats in powder pink, glossy Mary Janes with sculptural buckles, and pearl-dusted headbands that nod to Blair Waldorf—but without the drama. Bloomingdale’s edit captures this evolution with quiet confidence: timeless pieces styled for modern moments. Preppy is having a moment—and not in the way you remember it. Gone are the rigid polos and rule-bound uniforms of school corridors past. In their place: a new kind of polish, softened by sunlight and worn with the ease of a knowing smile. The Spring edit at Bloomingdale’s embraces this redefinition with quiet confidence—curating pieces that echo the icons of prep without mimicking them. There’s the Upper East Side poise of Blair Waldorf in a croc-embossed headband and sharp box-pleated mini. The understated cool of Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy in her rounded shades and hairband. There’s Clueless-era Cher Horowitz in her tweed cardigans and matching Mary Janes, her charm disarming, her tailoring impeccable. And of course, there’s the boyish charm of Ali MacGraw in Love Story—camel coats, collegiate knits, and just a touch of deliberate dishevelment. Bloomingdale’s channels these influences not as costume, but as conversation: houndstooth trenches softened with silk scarves; prim skirts paired with oversized oxfords; ballet flats done in patent blush with unexpected square toes. It’s preppy, yes—but airier, dreamier, and unmistakably now. The season calls for clarity. For charm. For the kind of dressed-up restraint that doesn’t beg attention, but earns it with every refined detail. And for that, Bloomingdale’s delivers with studied elegance. Just like marriage, divorce too is a chapter of life which starts when the chapter of marriage ends. That's it. When everyone around us supports and accepts our marriages, why should divorce be any different? Why, then, is it treated as a crime or something that one should be ashamed of? Divorce is not a bad thing. In fact, it is a blessing in disguise which takes you out of the worst phase of your life. Divorce is future-centric and gives a new meaning and purpose to our life, a life which may have become meaningless. Marriage is definitely an important part of a person's life but life is not only just about marriage; there is so much more to it than just that. Once you are divorced, people may judge you, doubt your character or even think that you have a mental illness, and if by chance they see you happy, then that will raise a huge question for the so-called society. • Unraveling The Luxurious Tapestry: A Journey Through The History Of Cashmere

Unraveling The Luxurious Tapestry: A Journey Through The History Of Cashmere By Anushka Sharma Unraveling The Luxurious Tapestry: A Journey Through The History Of Cashmere 27 February 2024 FASHION Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement Nestled high in the Himalayan mountains, there exists a fabric so exquisite, so revered, that it has adorned royalty and captivated fashionistas for centuries. This fabric is none other than cashmere, a material synonymous with luxury, elegance, and unparalleled softness. But what is the story behind this remarkable fiber? Let us embark on a journey through time to uncover the rich history of cashmere. The tale of cashmere goes back to the ancient lands of Kashmir, a region known for its breathtaking landscapes and rich cultural heritage. It was here, over a thousand years ago, that the indigenous Kashmiri goats roamed the rugged terrain, their fine undercoat protecting them from the harsh mountain winters. The local artisans discovered the secret hidden within this fleece, and thus, the art of cashmere weaving was born. Intrigued by the remarkable properties of cashmere, merchants from distant lands began to trade for this precious commodity, transporting it along the ancient Silk Road to destinations as far-reaching as Europe and the Middle East. By the 14th century, cashmere had become a coveted luxury, sought after by nobility and aristocracy across the globe. During the Renaissance period, cashmere reached new heights of popularity as the European royalty graced in sumptuous cashmere shawls, often intricately embroidered with elaborate designs. These shawls became symbols of wealth and status, and were considered to be prized possessions which were passed down through generations as cherished heirlooms. The fascination with cashmere continued to flourish into the 19th century, spurred on by the romanticism of the Orientalist movement. European artists and writers depicted the exotic allure of the East, further fueling the demand for all things Kashmiri, including the coveted cashmere shawls. However, as the Industrial Revolution swept across Europe, the production of cashmere underwent a significant transformation. Advancements in technology enabled mass production, making cashmere more accessible to the burgeoning middle class. Yet, despite the increased availability, the allure of authentic, handcrafted Kashmiri cashmere remained unmatched. In the 20th century, cashmere experienced a resurgence in popularity, becoming a staple in high-end fashion houses and designer collections. Celebrities and trendsetters alike coveted the luxurious feel and timeless elegance of cashmere garments, further cementing its status as a symbol of sophistication and refinement. Today, the legacy of cashmere endures, with artisans in Kashmir continuing to uphold centuries-old traditions of craftsmanship and quality. While modern techniques have streamlined production, the essence of true cashmere remains unchanged – a testament to the enduring appeal of this remarkable fiber. Yet, the story of cashmere is not without its challenges. Environmental concerns and ethical considerations surrounding the treatment of cashmere goats have prompted calls for sustainable practices within the industry. As consumers become increasingly conscious of the origins of their garments, there is a growing demand for transparency and accountability throughout the supply chain. Despite these challenges, the allure of cashmere persists, transcending time and trends. Whether draped over the shoulders of royalty or adorning the shelves of luxury boutiques, cashmere continues to captivate and inspire, weaving a timeless tale of luxury, tradition, and enduring beauty. So, the next time you wrap yourself in the soft embrace of a cashmere sweater, take a moment to appreciate the centuries of history and craftsmanship that have gone into creating this truly remarkable fabric. When asked about Beauty, fashion, art: If she could pick one and only one of these, what would it be and why? I am an artist, and expressing my creativity everyday is a must for me, I have always dreamed of having big collaboration with big brands like Vuitton, or with brands that align to my vision and moto in life, to reply to your question, I can’t choose one topic is just the way I can express and create something that drives my purpose everyday. Style is the most important for me, not only in clothes but in everything I do, since I was a kid I always wanted to add my personal touch to everything I do. I have worked with many stylists and my style has grown through the years, I had experimented every single possible style with clothes, hair and makeup, I think I have tried it all and now I am focusing to develop a street - high fashion style, in my opinion is what is working now, we came to an era that everything is mixed now, we have to adapt everyday, I am open to collaborate with new brands, is part of my job. I love to experiment. If I can give advice, it is to not be afraid to experiment, or to not try to fit in the box, go far away from your comfort zone. If not in this industry, where else would you see yourself? I see myself in the United Nations or inside a laboratory experimenting new ways to improve health, DNA issues, I am a geek inside of me, I just love to learn and study. I admire and follow designers who know how to enhance the woman, who can magnify her beauty, I can list my favorite ones lately, Valdrin Sahiti, Georges Hobeika, Rick Owens, Dolce and Gabbana, Zuhair Murad, JeanPaul Gaultier, Carolina Herrera, Oscar de la Renta, I think all of them know how to catch the true essence of a woman, there are so many out there, but I just love these ones. Have you ever considered exploring the Indian fashion industry? I have always been very curious about the Indian market. I admire and share their millenary culture, I have many Indian friends and it is my dream to explore India one time on a long trip. I love their cinema too and the people, very warm and kind. About fashion I only know Manish Arora that I used to assist at his show in Paris. At what age did you start involving yourself into the world of art? I was born an artist, I think art is a path that either you born with it or not, you can’t learn this, you have to born with it, since I was 3 I was already painting, everything I was doing was creative, I knew since the beginning that I was not like the rest of my class, I always feel different, the only thing I was interested in was drawing, painting, or plastic classes, I even wonder why I didn’t just did that, I need time to find myself too, I guess. What is art to you? Art for me can be everything, is the way you see and follow your life, the biggest artists are people who truly lived their life through it, there is no in between, you have to let it kill you and express from it, it can sound very dramatic but it can be obsessive, when I used to have my atelier I was consumed by it, I didn’t want to leave, I could eat and sleep in front of my paintings, I had dreams about what I should create, was crazy, is like your loose the meaning of time, hours, days, nothing matters anymore but to take out what is inside of you. What does your art revolve around? My art sparkles joy, fashion, sensuality, love and femininity. It is a tribute to women and how we had evolved through history, through the men's vision, and how powerful we are today, because the world now revolves around women. Can we know a little about your new projects? “I would like to crate an apparel brand, that can extend on the years, as I mentioned above to have my talk show, many things can happen, I will update you accordingly.” Well, we’re not sure of being updated about her ongoing and upcoming projects, but this conversation has definitely refreshed our perspective in understanding how one can do it all indeed!
