  • The House of Chanel: History

The House of Chanel: History by Aparajita Jaiswal The House of Chanel: History 1 May 2021 FASHION Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement Coco Chanel, the artistic genius of a million dollar empire, who was born by the name of Gabrielle Bonheur Chanel, was a French fashion designer who ruled over Parisian haute couture for almost six decades. Her elegantly casual designs inspired women of fashion to abandon the complicated, uncomfortable clothes like petticoats and corsets that were prevalent in 19th-century dress code. Among her ever so classy innovations were the Chanel suit, the quilted purse, costume jewelry, and the “little black dress”. Although the cosmetics and perfume wing of the French fashion house began many years ago with a little fragrance called No5. It started life back in 1921 when Gabrielle ‘Coco’ Chanel was already reigning over the Paris fashion world. Everyday is a fashion show, the world is our runway Coco Chanel Chanel was born into poverty in the French countryside. After a brief stint as a shop girl, Chanel worked for a few years as a café singer. She later, with financial assistance from Arthur Capel, opened a tiny millinery shop in Deauville, France, where she also sold simple sportswear, such as jersey sweaters. Within the span of mere five years, her use of jersey’s fabric to create a poor girl look had attracted the attention of influential wealthy women seeking relief from the prevalent corseted styles. Faithful to her belief that “luxury must be comfortable, otherwise it is not luxury,” Chanel’s designs stressed simplicity and comfort and revolutionized the fashion industry, changing uncomfortable corsets to leisure suits. Chanel enlisted a lot of financial help from various companies and wealthy gentlemen. The magnificent empire of Chanel no. 5 was first supported financially with the help of Ernst Beaux and introduced to the world in 1921 for the very first time. Ernst Beaux was one of the most-talented perfume creators in France. It is said that from the various samples procured by Ernst Beaux, Chanel chose the fifth sample, giving the perfume its official name. It was a combination of jasmine and several other floral scents that was more complex and mysterious than the single-scented perfumes then on the market. Chanel was the first major fashion designer to introduce a perfume and that she replaced the typical perfume packaging with a simple and sleek bottle also added to the scent’s success. She partnered with businessmen Théophile Bader of the Galeries Lafayette department store and Pierre Wertheimer of the Bourjois cosmetics company, who both agreed to help her produce more of her fragrance and to market it in exchange for a share of the profits. After signing a contract wherein she received only 10 percent of the royalties, Chanel enacted a series of lawsuits in the ensuing decades to regain control of her signature fragrance. Although she was never able to renegotiate the terms of her contract to increase her royalties, Chanel nonetheless made a considerable profit from the perfume. By the late 1920s the Chanel industries were reportedly worth millions and employed more than 2,000 people, not only in her couture house but also in a perfume laboratory, a textile mill, and a jewelry workshop. At the same time, Chanel started to expand and go global launching a cosmetics line in 1924 and a range of skincare products in 1929. Chanel closed her couture house in 1939 with the outbreak of World War II. Her associations with a German diplomat during the Nazi occupation tainted her reputation, and she did not return to fashion until 1954. That year she introduced her highly copied suit design: a collarless, braid-trimmed cardigan jacket with a graceful skirt. She also introduced bell-bottomed pants and other innovations while always retaining a clean classic look. In the 50s, Chanel No5 really was the perfume to be smelt in. In a 1954 interview, Marilyn Monroe famously answered the question “What do you wear to bed?” with the line “Just a few drops of No5”. After her death in 1971, Chanel’s couture house was led by a series of different designers, stabilizing the situation in 1983 when Karl Lagerfeld became chief designer. The popularity of the perfume continued to grow but this wasn’t necessarily a good thing. In the 1970s it was decided that No5 had lost its air of exclusivity so it was reinvented and made less widely available. Huge advertising campaigns were adopted using big name directors and big name stars; a Chanel tradition that lives on to this day. Chanel’s shrewd understanding of women’s fashion needs, her enterprising ambition, and the romantic aspects of her life, her rise from rags to riches and her sensational love affairs, continued to inspire numerous biographical books, films, and plays, including the 1970 Broadway musical Coco starring Katharine Hepburn. Chanel Today Today Chanel is 87 years old and worth $100 Million. Chanel is owned by by Alain Wertheimer and Gérard Wertheimer, grandsons of Pierre Wertheimer, who was an early business partner of the couturière Coco Chanel. Chanel focuses exclusively on women’s high fashion and ready-to-wear clothes, luxury goods, and accessories. Chanel has a huge range of fancily-priced makeup with seasonal launches and limited edition collections that come thick and fast. In more recent years, something strange happens when Chanel launch a new shade. People get a bit giddy, waiting lists are formed and cheap copycats are produced. It is one of the top luxury brands, a classic understanding of from rags to riches and a desire of every woman across the globe. Overtime they have become exclusive, desired and rare which are the reasons why Chanel’s items are both popular and expensive. #Jasmine #Chanelno5 #Fashionindustry #Fashiondesigner #Corsets #Fashion #InèsdelaFressange #HouseofChanel #Broadwaymusical #Paris #Chanelscouturehouse #Perfume #WorldWarII #Chanel #Nazi #Littleblackdress #KatharineHepburn #Dress #France #KarlLagerfeld #French #Hautecouture #Petticoats #Jewelry #Scent #ErnstBeaux #CocoChanel SEARCH Why does Fashion Need Fashion Shows FASHION From Dreams To Crowns: Anuradha Garg’s Inspiring Mrs. India Story FASHION Colour Psychology in Fashion: Explained FASHION Legendary Female Icons Who Made Fashion Statements In The 20th Century FASHION The House of Chanel: History FASHION POPULAR POSTS Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement By Shriniwas Kodape The Snake That Wore Red: Inside The Vision Cultured™ Revolution 19 October 2025 FASHION By Sakshi Shah Francesca Bellettini Ushers In Gucci’s New Dawn 19 September 2025 FASHION By Shriniwas Kodape Dibba Studio: Weaving The Future Of Fashion At Thailand Fashion Week AW25-26 2 September 2025 FASHION By Shriniwas Kodape Aksstagga: Threads That Whisper Love, Memory, And Eternity 21 August 2025 FASHION RELATED POSTS Advertisement

  • Ozzy Held Me Together: No More Tears, Just Gratitude

Ozzy Held Me Together: No More Tears, Just Gratitude By Shriniwas Kodape Ozzy Held Me Together: No More Tears, Just Gratitude 28 July 2025 LIFESTYLE Advertisement We were young, loud, and starved for something real. Not the kind of “real” you read about in textbooks or hear in polite conversation. We needed the kind of noise that could silence the chaos inside our heads, the kind of sound that felt like it had dirt under its fingernails and blood on its knuckles. Our band was scrappy—just a bunch of half-grown kids chasing distortion pedals and cheap highs, rehearsing until the neighbors banged on the walls or the amps gave out. Nights would end with cigarette breaks, chai in cracked glasses, and a silence that hung heavier than the smoke. It was during one of those cigarette breaks that Waseem—my brother in riffs, in rage, and all things holy and unholy—pulled a disc out of his torn bag. It was scratched, half-faded, and had one word smeared in black marker like it had been written during an exorcism: SABBATH . He didn’t explain. Just handed it to me like it was sacred and muttered, “Play it loud. And don’t just listen. Feel it.” That night, I lay flat on the floor, headphones plugged in, lights out, heart wide open. The opening riff of War Pigs didn’t just play—it cracked the ceiling open. And when that voice came in— Ozzy’s voice—it wasn’t pretty, it wasn’t perfect. But it hit me like the truth. Raw, blistered, truth. The kind you don’t hear anymore. It was more than a performance. It was a present. He wasn’t trying to impress anyone—he was trying to survive. There was something so deeply human in his delivery. Not trained, not polished, just unfiltered emotion laid bare. It felt like someone was singing from the same dark pit I was stuck in. Screaming, but not for help—screaming with me. And suddenly, I wasn’t screaming alone. And then there was the band. My God, the band . Tony Iommi didn’t play guitar—he commanded it. Riffs that felt like molten iron being poured straight into your veins. Geezer Butler’s bass wasn’t just background—it was heartbeat, heartbeat, heartbeat. And Bill Ward, behind the kit, didn’t just keep time—he dragged time through the dirt and made it beg. These weren’t songs. These were spells. Thunderstorms in 4/4 time. But Ozzy… Ozzy was the center. Not because he outshone them—but because he carried their weight with him. Every lyric, every howl, every slurred syllable—he bled for it. And it made you want to bleed too. Not out of pain, but out of relief. Out of finally feeling seen. At that point in my life, I was a mess. Depression isn’t poetic when it’s real. It’s a leech that sticks to your soul. Addiction was more than a phase—it was a language I was fluent in. Some nights, I’d sit by the window, smoke curling into the sky, thinking I wouldn’t make it through the night. And then No More Tears would come on. And something in that song—something I still can’t name—would anchor me. Just enough to hold on till morning. Ozzy never told you it would get better. He never lied. But he was there—in your headphones, in your bloodstream, in your darkest hours. He gave us something better than optimism. He gave us honesty. And through that honesty, hope. He never claimed to be a hero. He never wore a crown. But for all of us who didn’t fit, who didn’t shine, who didn’t have the words—Ozzy was the voice. And Paranoid—God help me—that song still wrecks me. Every time that riff kicks in, I’m seventeen again, scared out of my mind, but finally feeling like maybe, just maybe, someone else out there gets it that it’s okay not to be OK. That you can be broken and still be. He’s gone now. And the silence he leaves behind is almost unbearable. But it’s also filled with something else—something heavy and holy. Because right now, somewhere in a bedroom lit by the dull blue glow of a laptop screen, some kid just hit play on Paranoid for the first time. And he’s scared. And confused. And lost in his head. But for those three minutes and thirty-one seconds—he’s not alone. Ozzy’s there. Whispering. Screaming and holding the line. You don’t have to meet someone to know them. I met Ozzy every time I needed a reason to stay. Every time I needed someone to scream for me when I couldn’t scream for myself. So here’s to him. To Ozzy. To every busted mic and blown amp and bloodied lyric. To the band that didn’t just change music—but changed me. Rest loud, man. And thank you for giving chaos a sound, and giving kids like me the strength to survive it. • Wandering into the room of Virginia Woolf

SOCIETY by Aparajita Jaiswal Wandering into the room of Virginia Woolf 1 June 2021 SOCIETY Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement Reckoned as a feminist icon and literary genius, Adeline Virginia Woolf is best known for her novel “ Mrs Dalloway”, “To the lighthouse” and essay “ A Room of one’s own”. She was born in an affluent family with literary inclinations shaping her childhood and proclivity for reading and writing. Woolf began to write professionally in 1900 encouraged by her father Leslie Stephen. Her writing style is almost poetic, stream of consciousness of characters binding together the narrative. Like so many writers and artists she wasn’t famous during her lifetime and even several decades after her death. Her popularity rose to newer heights during the 1970s feminist criticism movement. She was a part of Bloomsbury group- a group of English writers, artists and philosophers in the early 20th century which was the hub of art, affairs and intellectual discussions. As Dorothy Parker quipped, “They painted in circles, lived in squares, and loved in triangles”. Viriginia Woolf is also known for her old school romance with her husband decorated with love letters and cute pet names, they called each Mandrill and Mongoose. Virginia was a champion of women equality and independence during her time and lived a life which was unconventional and revolutionary in a sense. One of her most famous longer essays “ A Room of One’s Own” was derived from two lectures she gave at Cambridge University. She talks about “ A woman must have money and a room of her own if she is to write fiction”. She famously gave an analogy of Shakespeare’s sister who, equipped with the same genius could not be equally famous given the position of her gender. Virginia also talked about Bronte sisters, George Eliot and other women writers who wrote under pen names because that was the only way to move forward in the hallways of the literary world. Yet beneath this shy yet social beautiful writer is a sad woman who was sexually abused as a child and battled mental illness throughout her life. She had a mental breakdown on the death of her mother in 1895. It was the first of many more to come. Institutionalized many times, she attempted suicide and finally one morning in 1941, she filled her pocket with stones and drowned in a nearby river. Leaving behind a legacy of novels, diaries and letters, her life remains an enigma, much like her death. But Virginia, through her sad rebellion and constant musings, fills us with hope. Hope in the strength of good ideas to come forward, irrespective of gender and social circumstances and for us to be forbearers of a future more equitable than the past. • The best picnic spots around the world - that you need to visit

The best picnic spots around the world - that you need to visit by Aishwarya The best picnic spots around the world - that you need to visit 4 November 2022 LIFESTYLE Advertisement Scotch eggs, cheese, and champagne may sound like the ideal picnic, but add views of a rose garden, the beach, or a wildebeest stampede and it becomes even more spectacular. Picnics are everyone's favourite. So let’s see some of the best places to have your picnic, the next time! Beach picnic in Rapid Bay, Australia: Legend has it that when the explorer Colonel Light landed in Rapid Bay aboard HMS Rapid in 1830, he said he'd scarcely seen a better place, and it's difficult to disagree. The bay's sandy beach is nestled beneath cliffs that overlook the ocean and is only a 90-minute drive from Adelaide on South Australia's Fleurieu Peninsula. The sea is at its warmest between October and May, so you can relax on the beach after feasting on local cheese, bread, and McLaren Vale wine from neighbouring vineyards. You can also snorkel or dive to encounter leafy sea dragons beneath the bay's jetty, as well as cowfish, pufferfish, and the rare bull ray in the nearby coral. Tanzanian bush picnic at Sanctuary Kusini: What does a picnic while viewing a wildebeest stampede sound like? Sanctuary Kusini is Tanzania's only permanent camp in the distant south of the Serengeti, overlooking grassy plains teeming with predators all year. You may have a picnic in the main lodge, which is built around a cluster of kopjes (rocky outcrops), giving you front-row seats to the Great Migration. Alternatively, you can get a hamper and have a bush picnic. Wildlife picnic in Kumana National Park, Sri Lanka: Set up your picnic basket on the banks of the river that flows through Kumana National Park, an hour's drive from Arugam Bay on Sri Lanka's east coast. As you sip your Ceylon tea, you may notice deer, wild buffalo, elephants, or leopards quenching their thirst in the river. Alternatively, spread down a blanket in Kumana Villu, a 202-hectare mangrove swamp where painted storks feed their fledglings in the treetops and pheasant-tailed jacana swim about floating nests. To avoid the annual rain, the area is best explored between April and September. Ayu in the Wild, a luxury tour company, creates customised tours with a focus on ecological and slow travel - and it can even prepare a picnic. Cherry blossom picnic in Tohoku, Japan: Try digging into an obento lunch box with a glass of sake at a table amid hundreds of pink cherry blossoms if you thought a picnic in a rose garden was romantic. Tohoku Local Secret Tours will arrange a private hanami (flower viewing) picnic on the grounds of the 1,200-year-old Shiogama Shrine in Sendai, in the Tohoku area of northern Japan, and a local musician will serenade you on a three-stringed shamisen. After your picnic, you can visit the shrine grounds. Rose garden picnic in Sacramento, California: Sacramento, known as the Farm-to-Fork Capital, is home to California's largest farmers market, so stock up on fresh vegetables and wine from the adjacent Napa and Sonoma Valleys. After you've finished your picnic, you can relax on the seats at McKinley Park Rose Garden in the city's east, which has over 1,000 rose bushes and tree roses. Every year, new types are sown. Visit between March and May to view the blossoms at their peak. What does a picnic while viewing a wildebeest stampede sound like? Behind The Lens: Heli Ved's Secrets To Creating Content That Resonates With The Masses by Akshra Khandelwal Behind The Lens: Heli Ved's Secrets To Creating Content That Resonates With The Masses 27 August 2023 LIFESTYLE Advertisement In digital content creation, few names shine as brightly as Heli Ved's. With a thriving YouTube channel and a dedicated following on social media, Heli has captured the hearts of her viewers through her niche content in fashion and beauty. In an exclusive interview for our magazine, Heli reveals the secrets behind her success, her evolution as a content creator, and her dreams for the future. "How are you, and how is everything going on in your life?" we inquired. Heli enthusiastically responds, "I'm doing great, thanks for asking! I'm creating new content every day and ensuring my audience has something unique to experience daily. I'm also focusing on creating niche content in fashion and beauty. I'm excited about my progress, and I can't wait to see what the future holds." Heli's journey on YouTube has been remarkable, and we wonder what sets her content apart and resonates so well with her audience. She replies thoughtfully, "As you know, content is king in today's digital world, and building connections with my audience is paramount to me. Several factors contribute to successful content, including relevance, authenticity, consistency, and adaptation to the platform. Ultimately, creating content that resonates with the audience requires understanding their preferences." From her early days as a content creator to where she is now, Heli's approach to creating videos and engaging with her audience has evolved significantly. "Staying relevant and adapting to trends has become crucial as online platforms and audience preferences evolve," she explains. "Overall, the evolution of content creation has been influenced by technological advancements, shifts in audience behavior, and a deep understanding of the need to connect with viewers on a more personal level." Having amassed a large and dedicated following, we are curious how Heli stays connected with her audience despite the growing numbers. She reveals her strategy, "Interacting with the audience on social media platforms allows us as creators to respond to comments, questions, and feedback, fostering a sense of community. Tailoring content to address specific interests and preferences of different audience segments can enhance engagement. Recognizing and celebrating milestones (e.g., subscriber count) makes the audience feel appreciated and included in the journey." We lighten the mood with a fun question, asking Heli, "If you could be one animal, mythical or existent, what would you be?" She smiles and replies, "I'd be a Phoenix! Bold and elegant, loyal to loved ones and possessing immense courage." As we delve deeper into Heli's career, we ask her to share a highlight from her journey. She fondly recalls, "Hosting the IIFA Red carpet is definitely one of the highlights. I started content creation with the sheer love of building a community, and when that took me places, it felt surreal. My love for extempore as a kid and picking a Speech and Drama class as the extracurricular activity, all made sense at that moment." We are intrigued to know who Heli's dream collaboration would be with and why. She shares her heartfelt dream, "My dream collab is to meet Zoë Sugg and film a classic Haul or makeup routine video with her because she inspired me to start my channel. At a time when I was transitioning from school to college when a lot of things felt overwhelming, her videos helped me immensely. She truly was like an elder sister to me in that phase, and that's what I wanted to emulate." Wrapping up the interview, we seek some advice from Heli for aspiring content creators. "What advice do you have for someone who wants to start creating content on Instagram?" She enthusiastically responds, "Decide on a specific niche or theme for your content. Focusing on a topic you are passionate about will help you attract a targeted audience. Develop a consistent visual style and branding for your posts. Use similar filters, colors, and fonts to create a cohesive and recognizable aesthetic. Lastly, consistency is key to growing your presence on Instagram. Stick to your content schedule and stay dedicated to producing quality content regularly. Enjoy the process, be creative, and have fun sharing your passion with the world!" Heli Ved's journey from a passionate content creator to an influential figure in fashion and beauty is nothing short of inspiring. Her dedication to building connections with her audience, authenticity, and ability to adapt to evolving trends have been key to her success. As she continues to explore new horizons and collaborate with her inspirations, we can't wait to see where her journey takes her next. This epitome of wonder is located in Maharashtra, India and is dedicated for ‘World Peace and Humanity’ regardless of the fact that India ranks 141 in GPI (Global Peace Index); ranks 133 in peace and security index ,one of the least safe countries for women and has many disputes related to religion, castes going on from years mainly rooting from politics that we often come across regularly. It often leaves me wondering, have the virtual and showcasing world really overpowered us so well and establishing its roots among us so powerfully that we actually believe that buildings and statues representing peace, humanity and unity can make this place or this world better for us? Do we actually believe that burying and not talking about the flaws can disparage them in long terms? This world peace dome left me bamboozled and thinking if it represents the modern world where only fake ways of life is sold rather than just peace and humanity. Metaphorically speaking, if this world peace dome or several structures built like this or are in disputes to be built in future can actually establish a system where the ways of real upbringings, real meaning of life can be shown, where it is explained enough to soak in through the bones that life is more than just ‘representing’ or sugar coating ‘ugly truths’ but these representatives are quoting opposite lessons. Nothing can be a representative of anything if the mirror of that particular place it is built in, is saying something else. Granted it can attract tourism and thus can help in boosting Indian economy in one way or the other but outsiders are really attracted to the Indian culture they found some kind of treasury in, which we are continuously letting to slip away from us! Disguise cannot be put forth longer and the practical perks could exhaust soon if we continue to hide under the films of silver linings. • Ramandeep Kaur, Charmingly Dauntless

Ramandeep Kaur, Charmingly Dauntless by Aparajita Jaiswal Ramandeep Kaur, Charmingly Dauntless 23 September 2022 COVER STORIES Advertisement It is always natural to feel extremely proud of the new self created out of the previous portions of ourselves! One such person with extreme sense of pride stands to be Ramandeep Kaur! Being a part of the Punjabi industry makes you extremely filled with energy in spite of the obstacles. Speaking of which, the gracious actor talks about her journey, mentioning, "I began as a manager in a salon and opportunities were presented naturally, quite willingly by others and situations supported those opportunities and I was fortunate enough to take advantage. It has been a passion of mine, all my life." Talking of obstacles, one doesn’t always get what she/he wants. "I prefer to perceive rejections as challenges, motivating me to do better," the actress says, gracefully. The very thought of making it huge in spite of rejections, hypes one up. In a creative field such as acting, it is a regular roller coaster where every artist goes through rejections and fame. The journey of fame deals with the public eye and staying grounded is very important. Ramandeep comments when asked how she deals with fame, "I stay humble." The very essence of the Punjabi film industry and the anticipation of where it is leading excites the audience. "I feel the Punjabi industry is on the way up, it is getting more worldwide exposure and I am excited to be a part of it," says the actress. Speaking of the industry, the reader often gets mesmerised by what they observe on social media. When asked about the trends that she rejoices in, her confidence peaked as she exclaimed, "I am the trend on social media." Ramandeep Kaur expresses her inspiration to be the humble blockbuster star, Diljit Dosanjh. While getting inspired in all ways, Ramandeep comments on her love for fashion. "I love fashion and I follow all trends to ensure I am always on top of it." Fashion brings in a lot of stereotypes attached to it as interpreted by society, majorly associated with body shaming and fitness. However, being an actress it's perceived differently, "I understand that the world is becoming diverse and is allowing people of all shapes and sizes to share the spotlight. However, I myself attend the gym regularly to maintain my figure." To stay on top, in both, one's professional and personal life, is a big deal. Thus to mark the lines between reel and real life for an actor is even more tough! "I stay in character on set and on only on set, I never take my character home with me. My personal life is a completely separate entity from my work." This actually is difficult to fathom for the readers as the work she engages in all seem so perfectly put, however, that is what would also make a rising beauty, like her, such a great actress! "My work does not affect my personal life as I try to be professional to all extents, taking my personal life seriously and looking after it as closely as I do for my career." As the audience looks forward to her engaging them in more of her films, it is also interesting to have a glance at her perspective. The career of every actor brings her to different roles and it is quite obvious to be biased to one or having regrets in having played a certain character. However, for Ramandeep, there are no regrets in the roles she has enacted. "I am proud of all the characters I have had the opportunity to play." My work does not affect my personal life as I am a professional and take my career very seriously! • How Fashion Shapes and Represents Our Identity

How Fashion Shapes and Represents Our Identity by Yashi Srivastava How Fashion Shapes and Represents Our Identity 14 December 2022 FASHION Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement From the stores we visit to the colors that we pick to wear, everything is influenced by our individual personality. While fashion certainly gets us moving towards what’s trending in the current world, it also gets us closer to who we really are by helping us find our own sense of style. It is that simple and it is that complicated - to understand fashion and find our true selves in and with it. So, how does fashion shape and represent our identity? Let’s try and understand. Fashion and age You will see a 15-year old dressed in the fashion of a 50-year old one day and come across a 40-something woman dressed as a k-pop idol in her 20s. Well, it completely depends on the mental or chosen age of the person that how they want to present themselves through their fashion. Many teenagers love wearing sneakers and accessories while a lot of them prefer to adorn baggy jeans with loose T-shirts. In a social event, no two people of the same age will dress the same. Woman A would come in a little black dress while woman B would wear a shimmer top with boyfriend jeans. Fashion and gender The identity surrounding men and women's fashion is another way fashion shapes and represents us. For example, skirts are for women and pants for men. Make-up is only for women while men cannot wear mascara even if they want! If you notice, fashion represents our identities as male and female, even though the world is awakening and the boundary between gender according to gender is fading. Thanks to men in fashion, art, and music, who are challenging the gender norms in fashion and bringing more fluidity and flexibility to it. Also, the LGBTQ+ communities, who are challenging it all, from fashion to acceptance - the world is waking up for good! So, shoutout to men who love to wear lipsticks and women who want to adorn business suits all the time - it is your era and you can shape fashion according to your identity however you want! Fashion and values When a female crosses the age of 13 or 14, she starts receiving the programming of dressing modestly. Well, most of them, so they do not become the object of sexuality- the reality is far from it but you get what I mean, right? Most women grow up in modest fashion so they do not draw attention to them whereas men can walk around however they want. The fashion where women must cover their skins with long skirts and full tops reflects the value of not just an individual buy an entire culture. However, the times are changing and we, as human beings, need to understand that fashion and culture may go hand in hand but it doesn't have to be as per the norms, but individual choice of men and women both. Fashion is a unique way to tell the world about who we are as human beings. It lets us communicate or in some ways, scream, our individuality to the world. So, why wait for the world to allow us to be who we are? So, go ahead, and try a new fashion today and if it resonates with your individuality, keep the trend. Fashion is more than just a style statement; it boasts of your identity and individuality. Blob - How many times have you wanted to try a new piece of clothing or a footwear simply because you thought it speaks to you, or suits your personality? Well, this is how fashion shapes you and if you continue experimenting with it, it will soon become a part of your identity. #Fashion #FashionYourIdentity #LGBTQFashion #StyleAndFashion #Individuality SEARCH Why does Fashion Need Fashion Shows FASHION From Dreams To Crowns: Anuradha Garg’s Inspiring Mrs.
