I am grateful with life for all the paths I am living, if I imagine all I am living today is exactly what I dreamt about when I was a child.” Well, it indeed is a rarity to be doing what you’ve always wished to do indeed! When asked about Beauty, fashion, art: If she could pick one and only one of these, what would it be and why? I am an artist, and expressing my creativity everyday is a must for me, I have always dreamed of having big collaboration with big brands like Vuitton, or with brands that align to my vision and moto in life, to reply to your question, I can’t choose one topic is just the way I can express and create something that drives my purpose everyday. We’ve been loving your fashion looks lately. Do you have any unpopular facts you’d want to share with us about the fashion weeks you attend? Style is the most important for me, not only in clothes but in everything I do, since I was a kid I always wanted to add my personal touch to everything I do. I have worked with many stylists and my style has grown through the years, I had experimented every single possible style with clothes, hair and makeup, I think I have tried it all and now I am focusing to develop a street - high fashion style, in my opinion is what is working now, we came to an era that everything is mixed now, we have to adapt everyday, I am open to collaborate with new brands, is part of my job. I love to experiment. If I can give advice, it is to not be afraid to experiment, or to not try to fit in the box, go far away from your comfort zone. If not in this industry, where else would you see yourself? I see myself in the United Nations or inside a laboratory experimenting new ways to improve health, DNA issues, I am a geek inside of me, I just love to learn and study. Well, this definitely brought a smile to our face! How rare is it to see such a bewitching combination! When asked about what inspires her art, she says, “My art is inspired by cinema icons, fashion legends, art movements during the time, everything that make an impact on society, art is the most powerful way to express the evolution of a society, art is power and is the ultimate luxury to manifest a position.” Patricia dons a lot of hats at once. We couldn’t help but ask where she sees herself ten years from now, to which she replied,”I do not make plans that long term, but certainly I would like to have the opportunity to create collaborations with fashion brands, make up brands, having my own talkshow, I will let life to surprise me, maybe life can change dramatically, who knows.” Which designer do you look up to in terms of haute couture? I admire and follow designers who know how to enhance the woman, who can magnify her beauty, I can list my favorite ones lately, Valdrin Sahiti, Georges Hobeika, Rick Owens, Dolce and Gabbana, Zuhair Murad, JeanPaul Gaultier, Carolina Herrera, Oscar de la Renta, I think all of them know how to catch the true essence of a woman, there are so many out there, but I just love these ones. Have you ever considered exploring the Indian fashion industry? I have always been very curious about the Indian market. I admire and share their millenary culture, I have many Indian friends and it is my dream to explore India one time on a long trip. I love their cinema too and the people, very warm and kind. About fashion I only know Manish Arora that I used to assist at his show in Paris. At what age did you start involving yourself into the world of art? I was born an artist, I think art is a path that either you born with it or not, you can’t learn this, you have to born with it, since I was 3 I was already painting, everything I was doing was creative, I knew since the beginning that I was not like the rest of my class, I always feel different, the only thing I was interested in was drawing, painting, or plastic classes, I even wonder why I didn’t just did that, I need time to find myself too, I guess. What is art to you? Art for me can be everything, is the way you see and follow your life, the biggest artists are people who truly lived their life through it, there is no in between, you have to let it kill you and express from it, it can sound very dramatic but it can be obsessive, when I used to have my atelier I was consumed by it, I didn’t want to leave, I could eat and sleep in front of my paintings, I had dreams about what I should create, was crazy, is like your loose the meaning of time, hours, days, nothing matters anymore but to take out what is inside of you. What does your art revolve around? My art sparkles joy, fashion, sensuality, love and femininity. It is a tribute to women and how we had evolved through history, through the men's vision, and how powerful we are today, because the world now revolves around women. Can we know a little about your new projects? “I would like to crate an apparel brand, that can extend on the years, as I mentioned above to have my talk show, many things can happen, I will update you accordingly.” Well, we’re not sure of being updated about her ongoing and upcoming projects, but this conversation has definitely refreshed our perspective in understanding how one can do it all indeed! Pantone 2025 Shade: Why Mocha Mousse Is The New Black By Anushka Uniyal Pantone 2025 Shade: Why Mocha Mousse Is The New Black 7 February 2025 FASHION Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement The market is buzzing, and fashion enthusiasts can’t resist it! As 2025 approaches, Mocha Mousse is stealing the spotlight–and for all the right reasons. Hold up! This rich, warm and indulgent brown isn’t just any colour; it’s a whole mood. Think about the things we love the most. Silky espresso? Melted chocolate? Or that irresistible caramel Starbucks drink - delicious, right? Well, if you can’t pick one, it’s alright because Pantone ’s pick for 2025 is here, and it’s here to stay! Why Does Pantone's Pick Matter? If you’re wondering why Pantone selections matter, here’s the deal: Pantone is the global trend-setting expert when it comes to colour and dictating what’s hot and not for decades. From influencing fashion and interiors to branding and product design, Pantone’s shade of the year ‘decides’ what’s next, setting the tone (quite literally) for the year ahead! As Laurie Pressman , Vice President of the Pantone Color Institute puts it: “For Pantone Color of the Year 2025, we look to a mellow brown hue whose inherent richness and sensorial and comforting warmth that extends further into our desire for comfort and the indulgence of simple pleasures that we can gift and share with others.” Mocha Mousse is exactly that—a comforting, grounding tone that invites us to slow down and savour life's little luxuries. Pantone’s Color of the Year is more than just a pretty hue; it’s a cultural moment that shapes design, fashion and personal expression, and 2025 is turning the heat as Mocha Mouse slips into its rich, coffee-meets-chocolate season! Prada shook things up, pairing a rich Mocha Mousse knit with bold pink trousers for an unexpected, show-stopping contrast. Talk about stealing the show! Interior Goals: Where Cozy Meets Chic Minimalist interiors are in, and Mocha Mousse is here to wrap your space in its latte-like embrace. Think velvety Mousse sofas, buttery leather accents and textured walls; this shade is equivalent to a shot of espresso for your home. • Keeping it real with fashion & lifestyle influencer of the year Hofit Golan

Keeping it real with fashion & lifestyle influencer of the year Hofit Golan By Aparajita Jaiswal Keeping it real with fashion & lifestyle influencer of the year Hofit Golan 5 April 2022 COVER STORIES Advertisement Hofit Golan’s (Lifestyle, Fashion, Travel Influencer) interview with Manya Vadehra was quite a refreshing piece. With each question asked, she showcased positivity and the importance of valuing oneself. She won the title of Forbes Influencer of the year (2021) and has walked the ramp for several fashion weeks, including The Paris Fashion week in March 2022. She has modelled for brands such as Elisabetta Franchi and made significant appearances at The Venice Film Festival (2021) and Cannes Film Festival (2021). Hofit Golan’s entry into the fashion world was quite “by chance”. The influencer claimed that her first gig came as an opportunity from a relation of hers, trancing her journey as a “fashion entrepreneur”. She has actively contributed to organisations such as Global Angels Foundation, an international charity inspiring disadvantaged communities around the world to grow sustainably. According to her- “It is important to look at the bigger things in life. Even though I am an influencer, contributing to the society and maintaining healthy relations is way beyond that” Health and fitness are essentials in her lifestyle, and she motivates everyone to look after their body and mind and have a positive outlook towards it. When asked which amongst Runway catwalk, cover shoots and television and film acting she enjoys the most, she reveals- “None out of them. They all are a part of my job but being with my loved ones and meeting new people is what matters the most. I enjoy doing them all as part of my career, however I don’t look at them in the bigger picture”. Hofit Golan’s Instagram Bio says she is a Crypto Queen. When asked about NFT and Metaverse, here is what she had to say- “I think cryptocurrency and Metaverse are revolutionary developments in technology. There is massive technological growth and are huge inventions to invest in, especially in today’s era” Being a public figure and, therefore, shining in the spotlight can also have a negative side in terms of social media trolling. Hofit gives a positive outlook on such situations by saying- “If that is the case, the one stop solution is to simply block people. There is no need to give value to someone’s opinion who you may or may not know. It is not necessary for you to listen to such trolls. Personally, I received trolling way before I entered the space of social media but for those who are facing it, just learn to focus on yourself. Nothing is more important than your personal well-being. Therefore, prioritise that and everything else shall fall in place.” Hofit’s methods and manners of living life to the fullest are indeed inspiring. Her message to her fans and to the readers of the interview is to believe in themselves and their capabilities. “There is so much that you can do. Just believe that you are on the right path and keep going. • Kavya Thapar And Her Versatile Acting Career That Cuts Across Regional Lines

Kavya Thapar And Her Versatile Acting Career That Cuts Across Regional Lines by Aparajita Jaiswal Kavya Thapar And Her Versatile Acting Career That Cuts Across Regional Lines 12 February 2023 COVER STORIES Advertisement Kavya Thapar is an Indian actress and model who works in Telugu, Tamil as well as Hindi films. Having an illustrious career in both film and fashion, she talked to us about her upcoming projects, her big break, her fashion mantra and some other things that tell us about the versatile person that she is. Kavya was first asked about her “big break” in her career. She highlighted the years 2017 and 2018 as some of the most defining years of her career. She replied “ I started doing ads in 2017 and got my first Telugu movie in October 2017 and my first Tamil and Hindi movies by 2018” Here, Kavya is talking about the movie Ee Maaya Peremito , which was a Telugu language movie that came out in 2018. Kavya played the role of Sheetal Jain in the film, who is the daughter of a rich businessperson. Having worked both in the South and the North of India, Kavya seems to have enjoyed the best of both worlds in the Indian film industry. Carrying this assumption, we asked how she would describe her experience of working both in the South and in Bollywood. Her response met our expectations, when she said “Both the industries have a lot to offer and it’s been a very exciting and overwhelming experience for me. I’ve always been blessed to find amazing opportunities in both the industries and I’ve found some people who are extremely dear to me and are now family. Overall my experience has been nothing short of a blessing and I thank god and my Guruji every day for my journey.’ Her gratefulness for her success was indeed heart-warming. Kavya’s filmography spans across a wide variety of films by now, with distinct plots, genres, roles and of course, languages. Therefore, we had to ask her, which of her works was the closest to her heart. Interestingly, her reply was that she simply could not decide. “I don’t think I can be biased when it comes to my work. Every project I take up I believe in 100% and it’s like my baby.” We then asked her what her advice was for the numerous young women who are trying to get into her industry. The simplicity and authenticity of her advice impressed us, as she advised young aspirants to simply be themselves. She also emphasized hard-work and honesty, along with the right amount of faith and grace. “Don’t find easy ways and solutions. Be patient and keep going with a smile and a prayer.” she said. Kavya was also asked by us about any “fashion mantra” she followed, and would like to share. Her reply was quite amusing, while still being incredibly genuine and profound- a delicate combination indeed. “For me fashion is what my stylists suggest honestly. Otherwise personally I only seek maximum comfort. I believe clothes are made to fit us and we aren’t supposed to fit into clothes. Also size doesn’t matter so wear what you want when you want and how you want just be happy and comfortable. ” Finally, she told us about her upcoming projects. We discovered that 2023 is going to be quite a busy year for Kavya, as she is working on 3 movies down south (two in Tamil and one in Telugu). Without telling us too much and keeping us on the hook, she also mentioned that she has “something very exciting coming up” in Hindi on Amazon Prime. We can’t wait for whatever that might be and wish her the very best for her career. • Four Seasons Bangkok: Where The River Holds Its Breath

By Shriniwas Kodape By Shriniwas Kodape Four Seasons Bangkok: Where The River Holds Its Breath 17 September 2025 TRAVEL Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement I’ve stayed in enough hotels to recognise when a place has nothing to prove. Four Seasons Bangkok is one of them. From the moment you step off the riverfront promenade into its courtyard, there’s a quiet assurance in the way it carries itself. No need for dramatic declarations or ornamental excess, just an effortless elegance that flows through every inch of the property. The Chao Phraya rolls by at its own unhurried pace, and the Four Seasons seems to take its cue from the water. There’s space here, not just in the architecture, but in the way it lets you breathe. The lobby is an embrace of warm light, polished stone, and subtle floral arrangements that feel placed for your eyes only. Every sightline is deliberate, every surface carrying the kind of texture that makes you want to run your hand across it. Rooms here aren’t just designed; they’re staged for living. Floor-to-ceiling windows pull the river inside, letting the daylight change the mood hour by hour. The materials are rich without being loud: soft fabrics, clean lines, and a colour palette that calms more than it commands. The bed seems built for slow mornings, and the kind of sleep that feels like a reset button. The dining, though, is where Four Seasons Bangkok truly leans into its personality. Food here is never an afterthought. Each restaurant has its own voice, its own rhythm, yet they all share an attention to craft that cannot be faked. Yu Ting Yuan, the hotel’s signature Michelin-recognized Cantonese restaurant, is a performance in precision with flavours layered with intention, each plate a study in restraint and detail. Riva del Fiume Ristorante brings an Italian sensibility to the riverfront, sunlit and relaxed, while Palmier by Guillaume Galliot offers French coastal charm with a contemporary edge. Even breakfast carries that quiet indulgence, turning the first meal of the day into an occasion worth lingering over. Service moves like good jazz, fluid, responsive, never out of tune. Staff seem to appear exactly when you need them, and vanish just as seamlessly. It is this rhythm that makes the stay feel less like being managed and more like being understood. And then there is the pool: long, linear, set against the river with just enough separation to make you feel part of the city without being swallowed by it. By day, it is a place to drift; by night, it becomes a reflective strip of light, mirroring the Bangkok skyline. Four Seasons Bangkok doesn’t chase your attention. It earns it. Not with noise or spectacle, but with an unwavering sense of place, a property that knows exactly what it is and delivers on it without hesitation. Here, the river holds its breath, and so do you, if only for a moment, before stepping back into the pulse of the city. • Puma Speedcat Ignites Again With Rosé At The Wheel

Puma Speedcat Ignites Again With Rosé At The Wheel By Ananya Patankar Puma Speedcat Ignites Again With Rosé At The Wheel 25 July 2025 FASHION Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement K-pop icon Rosé leads the charge in PUMA’s latest Speedcat release—a dynamic fusion of retro racing spirit and modern street energy. Rosé lends her cool intensity to the PUMA Speedcat’s latest evolution—where a pale blue palette and racing roots collide in a silhouette made for modern icons. There are shoes that walk, and then there are shoes that wait to launch. Enter the PUMA Speedcat, a cult silhouette forged from motorsport DNA and resurrected once more, this time with the quiet power of K-pop star Rosé . In its latest iteration, the Speedcat doesn’t just make a comeback, it revs to life in a fresh pale blue colorway, punctuated with a flash of fierce orange, and a whole lot of attitude. Launched July 24, 2025, this drop marks yet another thrilling chapter in the Speedcat’s legacy, a shoe that first drew breath on the race circuit and now tears through streetwear culture with unapologetic ease. It’s lean, low-profile, and engineered for edge. Think: retro pit-lane cool meets future-forward styling. Rosé, a longtime PUMA muse and master of understated glam, once again takes the wheel in the brand’s visuals. But these aren't high-speed action shots. They’re slow-burning, simmering scenes. There’s a growling muscle car, a flicker of flame-red reflections, and Rosé sitting still, yet somehow brimming with momentum. It’s a cinematic expression of what the Speedcat stands for: power in repose, elegance poised to explode. The color story furthers the duality. That soft blue upper reads almost serene, until the orange Formstrip slices through like a bolt of speed. It's a nod to the shoe’s motorsport heritage, but it also feels distinctly contemporary. The kind of color combo that glides from tarmac to terrazzo café floor without missing a beat. What makes this drop desirable isn’t just its aesthetic, it’s the aura it exudes. The Speedcat isn’t trying to be trendy; it is timeless. And yet, with Rosé lending her quiet fire to the campaign, it becomes something more. A wearable contradiction: cool yet charged, graceful yet grounded, a shoe that speaks even in stillness. Available now on PUMA.com , flagship stores, and selected retailers, this release is less about speed and more about style that simmers. Whether you’re a motorsport devotee, a Rosé fan, or someone with an eye for silhouette and statement, the Speedcat is your signal flare. Because the real power moves? Is knowing when to stay still—and when to ignite. • Busting Christmas Myths!

SOCIETY by Akash Khatri Busting Christmas Myths! 1 December 2020 SOCIETY Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement Christ was born on December 25th The Bible neither gives a specific date nor even a month for the same. It’s highly unlikely that Jesus could have been born on December 25th. The Bible mentions shepherds with their cattle grazing I the field during Jesus’s birth but it’s extremely cold in December in Bethlehem and nothing grows there then. Most scholars agree that Jesus was born sometime near the end of September based on biblical clues. Xmas is sacrilegious Many Christians view the removing have “Christ” out of Christmas as a sacrilege and replacing it with an X. But if you notice the word “Christ” in greek is written as “Χριστός.”. Chi is also written as an X in the roman alphabet so hence it is not wrong either. Santa Claus or Father Christmas and St. Nicholas are synonyms Saint Nicholas of Myra, also known as Nicholas of Bari or Nicholas the WonderWorker, was an early Christian bishop of Greek descent from the maritime city of Myra in Asia Minor during the time of the Roman Empire. He performed many miracles attributed to his intercession. While Santa Claus is a legendary character originating in Western Christian culture who is said to bring gifts to the homes of well-behaved children on the night of Christmas Eve or during the early morning hours of Christmas Day. The little drummer boy There is no Biblical interpretation of any kind of a drummer boy playing the drum as loudly as possible to baby Jesus. Wishing “happy holidays” is wrong If taken literally the word holiday means ‘holy day’. Celebrating the birth of Jesus is certainly holy and saying happy holidays definitely isn’t taking “Christ out of Christmas.” Midnight Mass is at 0:0 The schedule is in fact quite flexible, some churches start the service at midnight while some start by 10 or 11 pm and end it by 12. Since 2009, the Pope has celebrated this Mass at 10:00 pm, and as a result, the official liturgical designation of these texts has been Mass during the Night since 2009. However, when the Mass does occur at midnight, it is still commonly called “Midnight Mass”. Christmas cards are a tradition It was a Victorian businessman who made the Christmas card an American tradition. People did not send Christmas cards before the idle of the 19th century. Boxing day People consider boxing day to be the day to box up all those presents you don’t want and return them to the shops. But actually, it began in the middle ages in the UK where churches would open their collection boxes and distribute money to the poor. The three wise men As per Matthew, “ magi” who are wise men not kings came from the east looking for the King of the Jews to Jerusalem bearing precious gifts for Jesus when he was born but it never mentions the number or names of the men. Also, the bible mentions Jesus being a young child not an infant at that time. Surprisingly there is no mention of Jesus sleeping in a manger in any of the religious literature. People assume it to be “three” in number because there is a mention of three gifts – gold, frankincense and myrrh. Christmas is the most important No, its easter which lasts about two months and commemorates the rising of Jesus from the dead into the eternal life. Easter is so sacred as it celebrates the resurrection of the son of god and triumphs over death. Jingle bells is a Christmas song Though it is now one of the most loved Christmas songs out there it wasn’t initially meant to be. Originally titled One Horse Open Sleigh, It was initially written in the 1850s for American thanksgiving by composer James Lord Pierpont who penned it for his Sunday school class. The lyrics were later modified to fit Christmas. • AiSPi Wanderlust Diaries: Marzook, L’Afshar, And A Fashion Bender In Mumbai

AiSPi Wanderlust Diaries: Marzook, L’Afshar, And A Fashion Bender In Mumbai By Shriniwas Kodape AiSPi Wanderlust Diaries: Marzook, L’Afshar, And A Fashion Bender In Mumbai 25 April 2025 FASHION Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement There are days in Mumbai when the air feels heavier, as if the city’s leaning in, waiting for something to happen. This was one of those days. On the top floors of The St. Regis Mumbai, the curtains pulled back, the champagne flowed too early, and a different kind of storm rolled in — a beautiful, high-fashion cyclone called AiSPi Wanderlust Diaries . Now, if you’ve never heard of AiSPi , let me put it this way — it’s not your typical, sterile pop-up pushing overpriced clichés. No, this is the stuff of fashion folklore, the kind of operation run by people who chase labels in alleyways of Antwerp and underground ateliers in Istanbul. They traffic in stories, not trends. And this weekend, they turned Mumbai into their playground. Marzook was there — those wild, sculptural bags that feel like tiny spaceships for your secrets, glittering like fever dreams under the ballroom lights. These weren’t bags you politely slung over your shoulder. No. These are bags you build an entire damn night around. You walk into a room with a Marzook, and you don’t just arrive — you declare war on subtlety. Then came L’Afshar . Minimalist? Sure. But not in that quiet, forgettable way. Sharp-edged, modern relics that look like they were carved out of glass by someone with a hangover and a god complex. I watched people — the loud, the shy, the ones pretending not to care — run their fingers over those cool, marble-like surfaces. They didn’t just want to carry them; they wanted to be the kind of person who could. And if you drifted past the handbags and martinis, you'd stumble onto things that didn't shout — but whispered in the most intoxicating ways. The Pen Stroke , with hand-drawn journals and prints that made you want to run away to somewhere lawless and write everything down. And The Charm Shop , selling tiny, sparkling talismans — little anchors in a city that never stops spinning. But here’s what most people won’t tell you: It wasn’t about the shopping. Not really. It was about what those pieces made you feel. It was about holding something that carried the fingerprints of another world. About standing in a room full of strangers and thinking, Damn, maybe Mumbai’s finally getting the fashion scene it deserves. And adding to this electric madness, AiSPi unveiled their new Spring/Summer 2025 collections — a breathtaking lineup from 30+ global designers , each piece a portal to some sun-drenched square in Valencia, a candlelit studio in Paris, or a wild rooftop atelier in Tbilisi. These weren’t just collections; they were declarations of where fashion is going next, and Mumbai got the first, intoxicating taste. By evening, the place wasn’t just a pop-up — it was a fever dream. People weren’t browsing; they were hunting. The room smelled like perfume, leather, ambition, and a little danger. And that’s exactly how it should be. Wanderlust Diaries wasn’t a polite fashion event. It was a beautiful, decadent act of rebellion. Proof that in this fast, crowded, endlessly noisy city, there’s still room for things that are rare, strange, and alive. Here’s to more nights like this. More stories told in silk, sequins, scribbled journals, and hard-edged acrylic bags. And to AiSPi — may they keep smuggling this beautiful madness across borders, bringing the world’s finest, strangest, most beautiful things straight into the heart of Mumbai. See you at the next one. Bring your chaos. And your wallet. • Where The Conversation Took Turns Like The Everest’s Terrain With Sahil Salathia

Where The Conversation Took Turns Like The Everest’s Terrain With Sahil Salathia by Anushka Sharma Where The Conversation Took Turns Like The Everest’s Terrain With Sahil Salathia 27 January 2023 COVER STORIES Advertisement In a very interesting conversation with Mr. Sahil Salathia, we learnt far too much about how he perceives things outside the realm of acting and while he’s on set. Nevertheless, these conversations took turns like that of Everest(Pun Intended) and we loved him in that series! Movies aren’t all that Sahil Salathia is about. He also has his hands dipped in fashion and is quite a groundbreaking idol indeed. When asked about how he seeks to break the fashion stereotypes for the men as a fashion icon himself, he said, “Firstly, thank you for addressing me as a fashion icon: I’m humbled! Considering the boundaries that lie in fashion, they are far too many for men and women to tackle. One shouldn’t have a lot of seriousness around these boundaries. You wanna wear colour, wear colour, you wanna wear black nail paint, do that. Life is art, hence, be artistic and break these so-called boundaries! The key is to not take yourself so seriously!” The key indeed is to not take ourselves so seriously, after all! Fashion is art you wear and Sahil has made it look beyond surreal. Elucidating upon how it was like to work for the series, “Everest”, he fondly recalls, “I got a Lines Gold Award for the best debut and it was an incredible experience. We shot for a year in Dokriani glacier, and shot for a year and a half in total, considering the kind of a perfectionist that Ashutosh sir is. We really put in the work on this series, and Target and Everest are both available on Hotstar is indeed worth all the admiration! Ashutosh sir is a sheer gentleman, and I got to learn so much from the young cast and the fantastic actors that were a part of this series.” While there is so much that the actor has already got himself into, we couldn’t help but seek a glimpse of the upcoming projects he is set for in the future. He tells us all about them and how! “I’ve done two very very interesting parts in two very very very interesting web series. I can’t talk too much about it, but one is produced by Nikhil Advani and the other is produced by Viacom. I’d let them come up with more announcements, but I’ve finished filming and it was a bliss indeed!” Talking about the roles that he has particularly loved during his current tenure in the industry, he fondly recalls, “I can’t really pick a role that is closest to my heart, but I particularly loved my role as “Arjun Sabharwal”, the mountaineer from Everest, because it was my first and it was with Ashutosh, who is literally a legend. There are two more very interesting roles I’ve done which you’ll get to see soon.” As a groundbreaker in fashion and an actor whose skills speak for himself, we sought more of him than just acting. We wanted to know all about his viewpoint towards therapy for mental health issues amongst men and women in today's age and climate. He says, “Mental health is one of the pressing issues in today’s times. Considering how rapidly dynamic our lifestyles are, it’s imperative to understand the sheer importance of how mental health impacts us. Since I’m not a professional, I’d recommend one should seek help when one deems fit. Mental health is the most intrinsic part of our being and should not be ignored. Personally, I love to meditate, go to the gym and help release my endorphins through doing things that I absolutely enjoy!” As we furthered onto the topics of feminism and women empowerment, he stated, “Women empowerment is something we should all be very passionate about, since it’s not just for women, but also for the men. Considering how much we have suppressed women in the past, one ought to stand up for their rights in today’s scenario to make amends for the past. Feminism is about the rights that women rightfully deserve. It is about equality and being fair and I think everybody should believe in that.” As an actor who believes that the odds to be ever in his favour, he has an advice for everyone who seeks to get into this industry: “My advice would be to stay disciplined, stay balanced and manifest while you put in the effort. You get luckier when you work harder. Ask yourself one very important question, “Are you passionate about art or do you just wish to be famous?” Ultimately, this is what you should ask yourself before you plan to get into the industry. It’s the art that ultimately takes you places.” Art is something that is exuded through your passion for something, and the art of movies is to be known and perfected than be swooned over for the fancies that surround it. Nobody does it better than Sahil Salathia indeed. • K-Pop Fashion And Its Impact On Global Wardrobe

K-Pop Fashion And Its Impact On Global Wardrobe by Yashi Srivastava K-Pop Fashion And Its Impact On Global Wardrobe 10 February 2023 FASHION Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement K-pop is more than a music genre in 2022. It is a wave, a trend, a bold choice of fashion coupled with luxury and serving looks! Korean pop music has its roots fixed in the 90s, but after the rise of artists like PSY and BTS, K-pop has taken over the global wardrobe, not just with its music but also fashion, style, and charisma. Why shouldn’t it? After all, K-pop idols are some of the most beautiful faces that you would come across. It is thus, not surprising to know that most of them are headlining several luxury fashion shows across the world and many have become the face of brands like Celine, Dior, Milan, Gucci, and more. So, how is K-pop influencing the wardrobe of the entire fashion world? We shall discuss the same in this article. The rise of K-pop fashion As mentioned already, it all began with during the early 90s when Seo Taiji and Boys created a concoction of South Korean tradition with western instruments and highlighted the same with stunning choreography! The world was in awe and since then, there's been no looking back for the music genre. With time, K-pop fashion promoted fashion accessories like bucket hats, loose fitting T-shirts and jeans, flannels, and more. By the late 90s, K-pop music soared since the term ‘idol’ was coined which led the musicians to become more than performers - they became celebrities and the global (wardrobe) domination of K-pop thus began. Currently, K-pop fashion dabbles between streetwear and sportswear off-stage and everything that’s luxury, starting from Gucci, Versace, Dior, Cartier, Celine, etc. The current popularity of K-pop fashion It is safe to consider K-pop fashion as one of the biggest trends of 2022. From baggy clothes to skirts, to anoraks, from Girls Generation being invited to 2012 Mulberry show in London to BTS attending the 2018 Billboard Awards in complete Gucci outfits - Korean pop culture fashion has certainly come a long way! It is not wrong to say that the digital media has played a prominent role in taking the K-pop popularity to a whole new level, not only in East- Asia and South-Asia but also the West. However, it is not just K-pop idols that have influenced the world wardrobe and have been a part of the global fashion world. Korean fashion brands such as Gentle Monster and Minju Kim are making waves across the world with their fresh styles and K-pop inclined clothing. In fact, popular brands like Adidas have now come up with merchandise that is completely influenced by the K-pop genre, and the sales are on an all-time high! The influence of K-pop idols in global fashion K-pop idols aren't just singers anymore - they are ambassadors of South Korean culture, style, and fashion - and the global fashion world is loving their charisma! From BTS’ V to GOT7’s Jackson and Blackpink’s Lisa, everyone is known for their unique sense of style and cosmic fashion trends. They are breaking the internet with their stunning fashion sense and persona! In fact, they can make or break a fashion trend within minutes and scream of luxury and charm in every sense of the word. It is thus, not uncommon for top fashion brands to seek out idols from K-pop groups like Blackpink, Twice, Aespa, Monsta X, TxT, Red Velvet, and more to promote their brand via advertisements and fashion shows. Why shouldn’t they? After all, K-pop idols are known for their extravagant sense of fashion loaded with high-end accessories and vibrant colors, both on hair and their outfits! However, their fashion isn’t only limited to the stage. From airport looks to casual outings, K-media has its eyes on them and most idols do not disappoint! And let’s not forget the influence they have on some of the most popular fashion brands, like Louis Vuitton, who moved an entire fashion show to Seoul, South Korea, only for the legends known as BTS to promote the brand. In fact, the collection was sold out within a few minutes of the event. BTS’ airport look, where they were dressed in LV clothes from top to bottom, also sold out within a few hours after photos were released online. While BTS have their own contribution in bringing the world’s attention to K-pop culture, it is the aestheri and eye-catching visuals of K-pop idols from several groups that keeps the genre’s popularity growing. EXO Kai for Gucci and Bobbi Brown, IU for Gucci, Red Velvet Irene for Prada, Blackpink’s Jisoo for Cartier and Dior, Aespa for Givenchy, EXO Sehun for Dior, are some of the popular K-pop names who are faces or brand ambassadors of some high-end luxury brands.
