  • Adah Sharma, Sweetheart Since 1920

Adah Sharma, Sweetheart Since 1920 by Aparajita Jaiswal Adah Sharma, Sweetheart Since 1920 10 November 2021 Advertisement The first person that comes to our mind when we think of the words 'fun', 'spontaneous' and 'multifaceted talent' is Adah Sharma. We had the opportunity to sit down and chat with the outgoing and busy actor, who has many movies in various languages in her kitty. Adah exudes maior 'Girl-next door' energy in her latest interview with Aparajita Jaiswal as they discussed about completing a century in the industry, internet's sensation and beloved Radha Sharma, thoughts on fashion, OTT platforms and more. How and when exactly did you realize your passion for acting? What is the best part about being an actor? Throughout my schooling I truly enjoyed acting. I had taken part in theater and plays every now and then. I always wanted to experiment and try and be something else every other day. Whatever I was wanting to become, I was very serious about it. started practicing acrobatics because I wanted to join the circus, you won't believe me. I was so dedicated and serious about it. I graduated from a Kathak course because I wanted to become a dancer. When I wanted to become an actor, once again, I was very serious about it and if I put it quite plainly, all the skills I learnt along the way have come in handy in my acting career. I can only answer it based on my opinion, to me, it is absolutely the fact that I am allowed to be different people and personalities on-screen. Everybody adores the content you and Radha give us. What do you think of Radha's popularity Everyone adores Radha because she is the star-kid Radha Sharma. She is the first stuffed pillow to have her own Instagram. I am glad people are accepting and giving Radha the attention she deserves, however, it is not because of me. People admire her solely due to her talent and multiple expressions. (laughs) You have recently completed more than a decade since your entry in the industry. How has your experience been so far and how has the industry evolved so far? How would you describe your acting? I have actually completed a century in the industry! I have this hashtag that says #HundredYearsofAdahSharma because I started with the movie 1920 and we are currently in 2021.which makes it a hundred years. So it is safe to say I have been in the field longer than most veteran actors. I don't think I have aged for someone working since 1920 (laughs) it has to be the curious case of Adah. As for how I would describe my acting; I feel very fortunate to have bagged 1920 because I was able to prove that I can perform since our debut movie really makes a huge statement. Media and audience have been very kind and welcoming to me and so was my audience. I am very grateful for all the love and support people have given throughout these years, it really makes me feel very comfortable and more crazy I guess (haha). You have a very strong fashion game. Who would you consider as your style and fashion icon? For me, fashion is something that should be fun. When you start taking it too seriously it gets stressful and then there's no fun. Fashion is a part of my life and a part of me that I truly enjoy. If I am a part of a movie then I like sticking to the essence of the character based on how the character is written. On the other hand, I enjoy experimenting and trying out something | haven't done before in the case of fashion or magazine shoots. I also feel that what attracts my attention to someone else's style is when they have an inherent style of their own. One should be able to pick a style/hair style and make it their own, it would make it fun for themselves and make them look confident. I would say rather than strictly sticking to copying 'trends' one should have and play around with fashion. I would even say, don't be afraid of making mistakes, make mistakes in fashion because what might be a faux pas today might be in vogue tomorrow and vice versa. So you do you and have fun with fashion. Tell us about the toughest part of your work? And why do you think it is tough for you? The toughest part has to be, realizing that I am able to live my dream every single day. I enjoy every part of what I am doing, be it wearing amazing clothes or being a new character. Well, posing for selfies while savoring Bhel Puri….. life is tough! (haha, serious sarcasm intended). If anything you would be asked to change about your work, what would be that one thing? I consider myself at a very good phase in my career. I am being considered for really fun roles so right now I really do not wish to change anything. I am purely grateful for where I stand now. Now that OTT platforms are gaining traction among actors, what do you feel and do you see it as an opportunity to display your work? I have had an unremarkable OTT presence. I've previously been a part of a short-film Tinday, Moh which was released on OTT platforms. I played a bipolar character in Chuha Billi and a role in another OTT release entitled Holiday. I saw that my presence in Holiday drove more attention than most movies I have been a part of did. So, I make it a point to choose series, films or short stories that entertain, because when it is entertaining the medium of release doesn't matter because people would take efforts to watch it. So far as the content is good, people are hardly impacted by the medium. Whether they watch it on their phones or in multiplexes doesn't matter as long as they are enjoying the content. Once again, since I am very experimental and fun with work I want to try it all. Why does your Instagram Bio say "Actor/crow/Cow"? Yes, because when no one is watching I can turn into them. PS: but only when no one is watching. You made your singing debut in Tamil. How did you prepare yourself for singing, that too in an unfamiliar language? I have taken Piano and Carnatic music classes since a very young age So singing came pretty much easily and naturally. Though I enjoy singing and dancing. I really believe that acting is my first love. I would like to dance and sing as well. but WITH the acting. You have worked in different regional industries as well. How has that experience been? How different is it from working in mainstream Bollywood? If there's anything the pandemic has taught us, it is that if the content is good, everybody is going to watch it irrespective of the language and medium. From my experience. realized that it lies in the vision of the director as well. I have made a mark in the South Indian industry. My movies are also dubbed in Malayalam. I've been a part of Punjabi music videos. I see myself working in other regional movies as well. I am a part of an international action film which I am quite excited about. I am excited to try out all Indian languages and I would give foreign languages a chance as well. How do you prepare yourself for a role? What attracts you to a role now? It depends from role to role. Each role has its individual preparation needed. For instance, for my role in Commando, I was expected to speak Hindi with a Telugu tone to it, so I had an accent coach train me and for action movies I train accordingly. As for my South Indian movies, I like to read and reread and go well prepared to set since it is an unknown language. I like to read for my roles beforehand and go to set well prepared. It can be really stressful to receive lines on set. What attracts me to a role is something I haven't done before. What is next for you? Anything you can talk about? Any new movies in the talks? I have finished two Telugu films, one of which is a Girl action movie and the other movie is a sweet love story directed by Telugu actor Nani's sister Deepthi. It is produced by Nani as well. There is Commando 4 where I reprise my role as Bhavna Reddy once again. She is funnier and there's more action. I will also be seen in 'Aisa Waisa Pyaar' where I play the role opposite a dog named Happy. It is a lovestory between a dog and a cynical bitch. I really enjoyed playing it. There is Holiday 2 too. slated for release. There are few more in the works, but I am keeping fingers crossed for everything to work out. If you see yourself working with a celebrity, who would it be? I do not hold dreams because if I do that and it isn't fulfilled then I am bound to be re-born similar to Shah Rukh Khan in Om Shanti Om and become an actor once again and fulfill it in that incarnation. I just hope amazing filmmakers wake-up someday and say I wish Adah would sign our films. That's my dream! You recently played the role of a transgender person in "Pati, Patni aur Panga'. How challenging was it to you and what measures did you take to prepare for the role? 'Pati ,Patni aur Panga' is a very sweet love story and I hold it very dear to me. I was attracted to the role and the film because as human beings we tend to jump into conclusions and to make hasty judgements without knowing the entire story. So, it is a film that taught us not to be judgmental, which is a very earnest thought. Could we ever get a chance to see you working in Hollywood? Does that interest you? Like I mentioned earlier, one may never know. I am open with my options and wish to try and pursue acting in different roles and in different languages as long as the role, core, content and message of the film/series/short film are meaningful and something I haven't tried before. “JUST HOPE AMAZING FILMMAKERS WAKE-UP SOMEDAY AND SAY I WISH ADAH WOULD SIGN OUR FILMS. • Fashion In The 19th Century

Fashion In The 19th Century by Himanshi Sharma Fashion In The 19th Century 17 February 2023 FASHION Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement Fashion is something inevitable and had existed always. A fashion of a particular era not only tells us about the clothes people wore but also help us identify their life style, the climatic conditions and even politics of that particular era. The fashion in the 19 th century can not only be described as beautiful but also as extraordinary and mind blowing. We all might have watched period dramas or movies such as the Jane Austen’s classic “Pride and Prejudice” and the famous “Bridgerton” show on Netflix. The clothing of the casts on this show gives us an idea about the fashion in the 19 th century. Now, let us see them in detail. The 19 th century can be divided into two eras namely the pre-Victorian era or early era (1800-1839) and the Victorian era (1840-1899) Early era (1800-1839): Women’s Fashion: The most notable and popular fashion or trend in the era are the empire waist, low square neck, and skirts which or either plain or in folds. This era women preferred mostly pastel colors and white was predominant among them. The works on their dress are mostly subtle such as small frills or embroidery at the borders. The skirts are made in a way that helps them to move quickly. They used Cotton and other similar fabric for their dress. Corsets are not preferred and they are replaced by jackets and shawls which matched their attire. The women mostly used these shawls during winter season. The fabrics used are cashmere, muslin and other ones. The cloak was most famous and almost every woman of the century owned a cloak. The women had put their hair in short curls, which are inspired, from the Greeks and Romans. What is empire waist? It is a waistline, which is present just below the bust. That is the waist is raised around two to 3 inches from the actual waistline. Men’s Fashion: Men in the 18 th century used to wear jewelries and wigs, which are gone on this era. Even the skirts and puffed trousers were avoided. Men shifted to tight trousers that are up to the length of their knee. They started wearing coats with padded shoulders. The coats were reduced to be around the length of their waists, which is a change from the previous long ones. Victorian era (1840-1899): Women’s fashion: In this period, the corsets are back along with the multiple layering of the women’s skirt. The clothing is heavy which made it hard for the women to move quickly once again. The dresses are very long that they touched the floors. The neckline was broad, deep and shoulder revealing. They had a natural waistline and a “V” pointed bodice right below it. The sleeves are made to be big, puffy and balloon like. The women also wore shawls, capes around their shoulders. Bonnets and hats are also famous during this era. Another famous accessory of this era is the ballerina type shoes of the women. The women started portioning their hair in the middle or side. They also put them in a bun in the back or near the ears with one or two curls hanging on their face. Men’s fashion: There are only minor changes and a bit addition in this period when compared to the previous one. Men started wearing different colored coats and trousers. The coats are of dark colors whereas the trousers are of mild colors. The shirts are mostly white. They started wearing full-length trousers. The lengths of the coats are increased up to their knees. Vests and Jackets are also introduced. • Wandering into the room of Virginia Woolf

SOCIETY by Aparajita Jaiswal Wandering into the room of Virginia Woolf 1 June 2021 SOCIETY Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement Reckoned as a feminist icon and literary genius, Adeline Virginia Woolf is best known for her novel “ Mrs Dalloway”, “To the lighthouse” and essay “ A Room of one’s own”. She was born in an affluent family with literary inclinations shaping her childhood and proclivity for reading and writing. Woolf began to write professionally in 1900 encouraged by her father Leslie Stephen. Her writing style is almost poetic, stream of consciousness of characters binding together the narrative. Like so many writers and artists she wasn’t famous during her lifetime and even several decades after her death. Her popularity rose to newer heights during the 1970s feminist criticism movement. She was a part of Bloomsbury group- a group of English writers, artists and philosophers in the early 20th century which was the hub of art, affairs and intellectual discussions. As Dorothy Parker quipped, “They painted in circles, lived in squares, and loved in triangles”. Viriginia Woolf is also known for her old school romance with her husband decorated with love letters and cute pet names, they called each Mandrill and Mongoose. Virginia was a champion of women equality and independence during her time and lived a life which was unconventional and revolutionary in a sense. One of her most famous longer essays “ A Room of One’s Own” was derived from two lectures she gave at Cambridge University. She talks about “ A woman must have money and a room of her own if she is to write fiction”. She famously gave an analogy of Shakespeare’s sister who, equipped with the same genius could not be equally famous given the position of her gender. Virginia also talked about Bronte sisters, George Eliot and other women writers who wrote under pen names because that was the only way to move forward in the hallways of the literary world. Yet beneath this shy yet social beautiful writer is a sad woman who was sexually abused as a child and battled mental illness throughout her life. She had a mental breakdown on the death of her mother in 1895. It was the first of many more to come. Institutionalized many times, she attempted suicide and finally one morning in 1941, she filled her pocket with stones and drowned in a nearby river. Leaving behind a legacy of novels, diaries and letters, her life remains an enigma, much like her death. But Virginia, through her sad rebellion and constant musings, fills us with hope. Hope in the strength of good ideas to come forward, irrespective of gender and social circumstances and for us to be forbearers of a future more equitable than the past. • The Road To Independence Is Paved With More Than Just Likes, Said Deeksha Gupta

The Road To Independence Is Paved With More Than Just Likes, Said Deeksha Gupta by Akshra Khandelwal The Road To Independence Is Paved With More Than Just Likes, Said Deeksha Gupta 4 September 2023 FASHION Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement In the ever-evolving realm of social media, where the pursuit of authenticity and success often converge, a vibrant star emerges whose journey is as inspiring as it is genuine. Deeksha Gupta, the name that has been weaving its way into the digital tapestry, welcomed us into her world for a candid conversation about her rise as an influencer, the transformative power of collaborations, and the unwavering drive to stay true to oneself. With a refreshing blend of humility and ambition, Deeksha unveiled her story, reflecting on the rollercoaster of "almost" blooming days that shaped her path. From her humble beginnings with around 40,000 followers, she made it clear that her focus was always on authenticity. "I never want to do collaborations, and I like posting whatever I feel like that shows the real me," she often told her close circle. Yet, fate had its plans. A turning point emerged when Deeksha decided to leap of faith and say yes to her first brand collaboration. The outcome was beyond her expectations, as she pocketed a considerable 10,000 units of her chosen currency. The impact was profound – a newfound sense of independence and the pride of making her parents' hearts swell with joy ignited a relentless fire within her. As we sipped our chosen beverages, Deeksha playfully shared her signature style and described her as an ode to comfort with a hint of style. "It has to be a white top and dark blue denim or shorts. But let's not forget those essential cycling shorts – they're an absolute must. Comfort shouldn't compromise style," she quipped. Moving beyond the fashion realm, Deeksha invited us into her fitness journey. With a disciplined approach, she embraced a weekly "push, pull, & legs" routine, while her abs found their strength through a dedicated circuit routine. But it wasn't all about physical prowess; Deeksha's sanctuary lay in the moments of unwinding that marked her day's end. "I believe that the moments of unwinding are sacred," Deeksha shared with a smile that held the wisdom of experience. She detailed her cherished ritual with an almost poetic description – stepping into her room, shedding the layers of makeup, and engaging in heartfelt conversations with her confidantes over a call. "It's my favorite part of the day," she admitted, "a time when I can truly be myself and recharge." Deeksha's love for skincare emerged as a common thread during these serene moments. The diligent application of creams and serums was complemented by a central ritual that spoke volumes about her character – tidying her room. "It may sound 'small,' I guess," she mused, "but I find it essential. Going to bed with everything in order sets the tone for the next day." The conversation turned toward aspirations, and Deeksha's eyes lit up with a dream she had been nurturing. "I want to collaborate with Dyson," she confessed. The aim was more than just a product acquisition; it was a testament to her determination and vision of success. "I could buy it, sure," she acknowledged, "but there's something magical about collaborating with a brand that resonates with you." Deeksha's journey, marked by dedication and a desire to prove herself, has been punctuated by challenges and lessons. "I learned this the hard way," she reflected, "but giving up or losing heart is never an option." She cautioned against getting carried away by fleeting successes, urging fellow content creators to persist even when the metrics seem unfavourable. "Keep creating content regardless of the engagement. It'll always be you versus you," she affirmed. • Breakfast – Don’t Miss

By Akash Khatri Breakfast – Don’t Miss 15 June 2025 FOOD Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement My most favourite meal of the day – BREAKFAST! The first thing out of bed. The fun part: it can include anything, be it fresh orange juice, hot waffles, drooly pancakes with maple syrup, a bowl of cereal with fresh milk, oats garnished with pretty dry fruit, tasty French toast, a warm croissant, crispy bacon, PopTarts, fruits, berries, a slice of perfectly toasted bread, eggs in any form and not forgetting freshly brewed coffee. It sets the mood good for a day. People often skip breakfast in a rush to reach in time, to spend some more time in bed, because they are too tired to bother, they don’t feel hungry, they are bored of the same breakfast every day, or some other excuse, but it’s wrong. It is called the “most important meal of the day” for a reason. Research links eating breakfast to good health. It helps you kick start your metabolism as it is the first meal after you wake up thereby also helping you to burn calories throughout the day. It provides you with the fuel required to get you going through the day and avoids you to binge eat as it controls your appetite. Science has proved that a good breakfast is directly proportional to a better memory. This ‘first meal’ also lowers bad cholesterol levels in our body and prevents a number of other diseases such as diabetes, obesity, etc. A US study that analyzed the health data of 50,000 people over seven years, concluded that those who made breakfast the largest meal of the day had a lower body mass index (BMI) than those who ate a large lunch or dinner. Moreover, it breaks the overnight fasting cycle by replenishing the body with glucose. A healthy breakfast also contains all nutrients such as calcium, iron and B vitamins as well as protein and fibre which are very important for our body. Running late? Don’t worry, we’ll help: Prepare a week’s breakfast over the weekend or the night before such as overnight oats, fruit jars or healthy muffins. A pre-prepared breakfast saves you ample of time in the morning and can be picked up on the way to your destination. Try setting your alarm 10-15 minutes prior to your usual time so that you don’t skip breakfast. Figure out what you want to eat for breakfast the night before and set out dry ingredients or pans and bowls you would require so that you save time in the morning. Stock your cupboard with go-to breakfast foods like protein bars, low sugar cereals, smoothies, etc. Keep some breakfast foods in your car or workplace or handbag. According to nutritionists, one should eat breakfast within two hours of waking and it should be in the range of 25-35% of your guideline daily allowance, also known as GDA. A few quick breakfast ideas: Ø Avocado toast with eggs Top a slice of brown or multigrain bread with smashed avocado and a sunny-side-up/fried/baked egg or two sprinkled with some salt and pepper for taste. Ø Pancakes It can be finished with a handful of berries, chopped bananas, spread of peanut butter or chocolate spread or the old maple syrup. Ø The fruit toast My personal favourite, it’s super easy to make. Add your favourite nut butter with some chopped bananas on a toast with a garnish of chia seeds. Ø Fruit bowl The quickest to make. Precut fruits to make it even quicker, mix seasonal fruits together. The fun part- you can just add anything you like. I like to add some quinoa, honey and lemon too. Delicious! Ø Scrambled Mess Break a few eggs in a pan coated with a spray of oil. Add in your favourite veggies to add some colour like onions, chillies and bell peppers. I like to flavour it with some rosemary, thyme and basil leaves. You can also stick to the simpler version by just adding salt and pepper. Ø The overnight overload Take a jar and mix oats, chia seeds, berries of your choice, a dash of vanilla, almond or coconut milk and maple syrup. Refrigerate overnight. You can have it cold or warm it in the microwave for a minute. Add a banana and top it with some dry fruits. Ø Classic Quinoa Cook Quinoa with any kind of milk. Add sugar, cinnamon and cardamom for taste. This dish is high in protein. Ø Peanut butter oat cookies I like to add some semi-sweet chocolate chips for taste. Ø Banana Zucchini muffins I like to substitute all-purpose flour with wheat and butter with coconut oil to make it healthier. Ø Warm waffles Top it with a spoon of chocolate, peanut butter jelly, simply butter or fruits and maple syrup. Ø Simply Smoothies You can never go wrong with them; they are highly fulfilling and filled with proteins. Banana Dates Smoothie Strawberry Mango Smoothie Blueberry Yoghurt Smoothie Strawberry Spinach Smoothie Chocolate Oatmeal Smoothie Watermelon Mint Smoothie Pumpkin Carrot Smoothie Orange Smoothie Raspberry Peach Chia seeds Smoothie Beetroot Apple Smoothie Banana Honey Oatmeal Smoothie You can make endless more combinations, it just gets healthier. • Mental Health: Hush we don’t talk about it out loud

Mental Health: Hush we don’t talk about it out loud by Raunak Singh Hooda Mental Health: Hush we don’t talk about it out loud 1 June 2021 LIFESTYLE Advertisement When people hear the term healthy, they usually focus on physical stuff such as low cholesterol levels, high blood pressure, diabetes. But being healthy is not just being physically fit it also includes if the individual is mentally and emotionally fit. Unfortunately, countless people suffer from mental health problems that are just as deadly as physical problems. To understand the importance of mental health first we need to understand what does it mean. These all affect our mental health to great extents and that is the reason why we need to take help of psychologists, councilors, social helpers or maybe just talk to our loved ones because having bad mental health can not just be harmful to us but for everyone around us too. For example, depression is an ignored but dangerous illness if not cured, long term depression can lead to further mental as well as physical illness, can cause the victim to have maniac episodes, suicidal thoughts urge to self-harm, remove their problems perhaps murdering the ones troubling them sometimes too, destruction, isolation, and much more. The National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) estimates that 16.2 million U.S. adults had at least one major depressive episode in 2016. This represents 6.7 percent of the U.S. adult population. It is calculated that the ratio of a mental health professional helper to the public is 1 to 40,000 people. So it is high time that we need more people in this field of profession. By all this, we understand that it is very important that we take care of our mental health at an initial stage before it turns out that we r also boarding the train to depression. Staying mentally healthy helps us face challenges, stresses, make better decisions, cope better with sudden changes and setbacks which life throws at us. It also prepares us to be more efficient. To take care of your mental health initially one must know how to control anger, eat and sleep properly, do physical activities, meditate, pursue the hobbies that make them feel happy, socialize, find joy in small things and learn to appreciate life, never shy away to get help if you feel like that you need it because “just because no one can heal or do your inner work for you, does not mean you can, should or need to do it alone” ~ Lisa Olivers SEARCH Ankita Malik: Empowering Change And Embracing Authenticity LIFESTYLE Juggling Two Worlds: The Inspiring Journey Of Kritika Goel LIFESTYLE Juggling Law And Fashion: The Inspirational Journey Of Riddhi Nahata, A Multifaceted Influencer LIFESTYLE Nikita Pawar: From Fashion Design To Digital Stardom LIFESTYLE Join Shruti Yogi On Her Enchanting Journey From Kumkum Bhagya To Wanderlust Saga LIFESTYLE POPULAR POSTS Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement By Shriniwas Kodape The Spa At The Urban Wellness Centre: Four Seasons Bangkok’s Sanctuary Where The Body Forgets The Noise 4 September 2025 LIFESTYLE By Anurag Sen Porsche Unveils The Next Generation 911 Cup: Precision, Power, And Purpose For 2026 24 August 2025 LIFESTYLE By Anurag Sen Mercedes AMG Petronas Keep The Momentum Rolling After A Podium Scoring Hungarian GP 21 August 2025 LIFESTYLE By Ananya Patankar Precision Meets Power: Inside Audi’s Formula 1 Masterplan 5 August 2025 LIFESTYLE RELATED POSTS Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement

  • Smooth Operator: Audi’s Q5 Hybrid Is Built To Tempt

Smooth Operator: Audi’s Q5 Hybrid Is Built To Tempt By Ananya Patankar Smooth Operator: Audi’s Q5 Hybrid Is Built To Tempt 14 July 2025 LIFESTYLE Advertisement Sleek, intuitive, and engineered to whisper rather than roar, the Audi Q5 e-hybrid is a car for those who believe performance shouldn’t demand attention—but effortlessly earn it. It’s not just about going electric. It’s about elevating every moment behind the wheel. Audi turns the page with two bold new additions to the Q5 lineage. From first glance, it’s clear it isn’t merely an SUV made for commuting. The SUV and Sportback are not just sculpted but add to its athletic silhouette more akin to modern architecture than machinery. Whether you’re gazing at the Sportback’s sleek roof-line or the classic stance of the SUV, the Q5 e-hybrid feels at home anywhere: coastal highways, cobbled cities or countryside curves. However, there is more to the Q5 than just its astonishing architecture. Beneath its sculpted form beats the unmistakable heart of Audi—quattro all-wheel drive, now re-imagined with electric precision. Available in two power-trains—220 kW and a thrilling 270 kW—the Q5 e-hybrid isn’t just a hybrid; it’s a masterclass in dynamic elegance. It’s an experience of choice, a choice that makes your Sunday grocery runs pleasurable and weekend getaways relaxing. With up to 100 kilometers of pure electric driving the car promises that signature Audi surge, hitting 0 to 100 km/h in as little as 5.1 seconds. When it comes to the driving experience, you're enveloped by a cabin that feels more sanctuary than vehicle. Soft-touch material wraps you in Audi’s S line design, where every surface, every control, feels positioned not just with thought, but with compassion. There’s subtle confidence here, a feeling where your Q5 understands before you speak. The Q5’s fully digital MMI experience plus is not just an infotainment system, but rather your co-pilot, artfully integrating Audi’s application store, along with smartphone interface, and a dynamic sound system that drowns the traffic allowing you a pleasurable and non-stressful drive. As for the passenger experience, Audi does not compromise. The fully adjustable rear seat bench plus lets passengers choose their own realm of space—whether you’re traveling solo with weekend luggage or with a backseat trio heading for dinner in the hills. As promised, your vehicle strives to understand before you even speak, responding with utmost silence, like it’s EV mode. Driving the Q5 e-hybrid in EV mode is like slipping into a private members’ club—exclusive, hushed, effortless. Where power and peace collide. With three levels of regenerative braking controlled by steering wheel paddles, you can command the drive with a gentle flick of the fingers. Whether coasting into a quiet sunrise or descending a hillside road, the Q5’s intelligent hybrid system ensures that every joule of energy is put to sophisticated use. And when the roads open up? That’s when the combustion engine joins the ensemble—smooth, quiet, and seamlessly blended with it’s electric torque. It’s not a transition you notice; it’s one you feel, like the subtle gear shift in a live jazz quartet. Additionally, beneath that is a battery system re-imagined; not just to perform but think ahead. At the heart of the Q5 e-hybrid is a re-imagined high-voltage battery with 45% more capacity than its predecessor. Audi didn’t just increase the numbers—they re-engineered the battery architecture, using a “cell-to-pack” design that not only boosts energy density but preserves cabin and trunk space. Resulting in up to 1,358 liters of storage in the SUV with the seats down—and a silent confidence that no detail has gone overlooked. Consecutively, charging too can be considered a part of your lifestyle, rather than just another chore. With 11 kW AC charging capability, you’re looking at a full charge in just 2.5 hours. Plug in at home after your evening run, and it’s ready to go by the time you finish your espresso. But beyond convenience lies intelligence—the kind that can predict your next move. Audi’s hybrid drive strategy is more than just intelligent—it’s instinctual. With Predictive Efficiency Assist , the car uses GPS data, traffic analysis, even gradient readings, to determine when to recover energy or coast—making the most of every meter. It’s like driving with a sixth sense, where the car knows when to push, and when to pause. In addition, there’s a refined rhythm to the Q5 e-hybrid’s movement: the quiet confidence of a machine that’s always aligned—with the road, the moment, and you. Whether in EV, hybrid, or full performance mode, this Audi adapts not just to roads, but to the luxurious lifestyle you seek. In a world obsessed with volume, the Q5 leads with stillness and luxury. The Q5 earns admiration through craft, presence and purposeful innovation. You can feel it in the red brake calipers peeking behind 19-inch alloy wheels, in the tailored black sports seats, in the way ambient lighting turns night drives into theatre. Built in San José Chiapa, Mexico, and arriving in Europe mid-2025, the Q5 e-hybrid is more than a new chapter—it’s Audi at its most evolved. It speaks to the modern driver: someone who values sustainability, yes—but refuses to compromise on thrill, texture, or style. With the Q5 e-hybrid, Audi redefines modern luxury—not through volume or velocity, but through refinement, range, and instinctive ease.
