By Anushka Sharma By Anushka Sharma Lakshadweep Is A Heaven In Disguise And Here Is Why 3 April 2024 TRAVEL Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement Hey there, island explorers! Ever heard of Lakshadweep? It's like a hidden treasure chest in the Indian Ocean, full of amazing surprises! Picture this: turquoise waters, colorful coral reefs, and sandy beaches that feel like fluffy pillows for your feet. Lakshadweep is not just one island, but a whole bunch of them – 36 to be exact! Each one has its own special vibe, like having a different flavor of ice cream every day. So, what makes Lakshadweep so special? Let's start with the beaches. Oh, the beaches! With their soft, white sand and crystal-clear waters, they're like something out of a postcard. Whether you're a beach bum who loves to laze in the sun or a water baby who can't wait to dive into the waves, Lakshadweep has a beach for you. But it's not just about sunbathing and swimming – although those are definitely two of the main attractions. Lakshadweep is also a mecca for water sports enthusiasts. From snorkeling and scuba diving to kayaking and windsurfing, there's no shortage of adrenaline-pumping activities to try. Let's talk about snorkeling, shall we? Strap on your mask and flippers and get ready to dive into a world of wonder beneath the waves. The coral reefs around Lakshadweep are teeming with life – colorful fish, graceful sea turtles, and even the occasional dolphin or whale shark if you're lucky! It's like swimming in a giant aquarium, except you're part of the show. And speaking of coral reefs, did you know that Lakshadweep is known as the Coral Islands? That's because it's home to some of the most beautiful coral formations in the world. As you explore the underwater wonderland, you'll be amazed by the vibrant colors and intricate shapes of the coral gardens that stretch as far as the eye can see. But Lakshadweep isn't just about what's under the sea – it's also about what's on land. The islands are home to a rich diversity of flora and fauna, from towering coconut palms to exotic birds and butterflies. And let's not forget about the friendly locals, who are always eager to share their island paradise with visitors. One of the best things about Lakshadweep is that it's still relatively undiscovered. Unlike some other tourist hotspots, you won't find crowded beaches or overdeveloped resorts here. Instead, you'll have plenty of space to roam free and soak up the natural beauty of the islands. So, whether you're looking for adventure, relaxation, or a little bit of both, Lakshadweep has something for everyone. Pack your bags, grab your sunscreen, and get ready for the trip of a lifetime. Paradise awaits! by Neha Pande by Neha Pande Queen’s Land 1 September 2020 TRAVEL Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement Queen’s Land also known as London has magic in its heart like Hogwarts and Fashion in its veins. From London Fashion week to Buckingham Palace, this place is a must visit for all travellers. The best time to visit is either spring when all the natural beauty comes to life like tiny dewdrops early morning or during Christmas to see the snow clad city with Santa’s magic and the beauty of British Christmas. Tourists are drawn to London’s museums, history, theatre, pubs and the beauty of the Queen’s Land. The only problems that tourists might face is that London is extremely expensive and it rains pretty often so carry your coats and umbrellas. London is known for many beautiful places to visit, yet tourists have 5 place on their list which everyone visiting London must visit- The Big Ben which is set in the heart of Parliament Squared and the Houses of Parliament. Big Ben is without a doubt the world’s most famous clock which is right next door to the equally famous Houses of Parliament with the House of Lords and House of Commons. The Tower of London and the Tower bridge, these two bridges have been used as synonyms all around the world but no the bridges are separate yet both beautifully constructed in their own ways. You’ll have to come to London to visit both the bridges and check out their difference in style. The Buckingham Palace, the Queen’s residence was built in 1703 as a house for 3rd Earl of Mulgrave but was purchased over in 1761 by King George III and since then it has harboured Royalties and Royal delegates. The Westminster Alley formally known as Collegiate Church is a large Gothic Abbey Church which is the perfect place to bring out the Goth in You. The church is just nearby the Palace of Westminster which is something which one must check out. It’s the perfect place for some fun Gothic Photoshoot. Trafalgar Square is in the heart of London and is a large pedestrian square with the beautiful statue of Admiral Lord Nelson on a large Collin with four statues of lions around him. This square celebrates the Battle of Trafalgar fought in 1805. One of the best features of this square is the National Art Gallery facing it. Other than that you need to go Museum hopping to satisfy your intellect and London is known for its museums and artefacts from all around Europe. Many museums like Tate, City Museums , National Gallery, Historical museum are free! So you don’t have to spend a single penny to visit! Theatres, authentic and fusion delectables, Brick Lane for pictures, The London eye, Cathedrals etc are other things you can not miss if you are in London. You especially can not miss the beautiful gardens and pubs for some amazing selfies, fun and booze. If you are visiting London then the main mode of transportation are subways or buses, if you feel like spending a bit more than you can take cabs but it’s better to get a subway card if you are visiting for a while and splurge the savings on shopping as London is also known as one of the shopping centrals so don’t miss out a chance to shop for top brand clothing which are in style. - Ozzy Held Me Together: No More Tears, Just Gratitude
Ozzy Held Me Together: No More Tears, Just Gratitude By Shriniwas Kodape Ozzy Held Me Together: No More Tears, Just Gratitude 28 July 2025 LIFESTYLE Advertisement We were young, loud, and starved for something real. Not the kind of “real” you read about in textbooks or hear in polite conversation. We needed the kind of noise that could silence the chaos inside our heads, the kind of sound that felt like it had dirt under its fingernails and blood on its knuckles. Our band was scrappy—just a bunch of half-grown kids chasing distortion pedals and cheap highs, rehearsing until the neighbors banged on the walls or the amps gave out. Nights would end with cigarette breaks, chai in cracked glasses, and a silence that hung heavier than the smoke. It was during one of those cigarette breaks that Waseem—my brother in riffs, in rage, and all things holy and unholy—pulled a disc out of his torn bag. It was scratched, half-faded, and had one word smeared in black marker like it had been written during an exorcism: SABBATH . He didn’t explain. Just handed it to me like it was sacred and muttered, “Play it loud. And don’t just listen. Feel it.” That night, I lay flat on the floor, headphones plugged in, lights out, heart wide open. The opening riff of War Pigs didn’t just play—it cracked the ceiling open. And when that voice came in— Ozzy’s voice—it wasn’t pretty, it wasn’t perfect. But it hit me like the truth. Raw, blistered, truth. The kind you don’t hear anymore. It was more than a performance. It was a present. He wasn’t trying to impress anyone—he was trying to survive. There was something so deeply human in his delivery. Not trained, not polished, just unfiltered emotion laid bare. It felt like someone was singing from the same dark pit I was stuck in. Screaming, but not for help—screaming with me. And suddenly, I wasn’t screaming alone. And then there was the band. My God, the band . Tony Iommi didn’t play guitar—he commanded it. Riffs that felt like molten iron being poured straight into your veins. Geezer Butler’s bass wasn’t just background—it was heartbeat, heartbeat, heartbeat. And Bill Ward, behind the kit, didn’t just keep time—he dragged time through the dirt and made it beg. These weren’t songs. These were spells. Thunderstorms in 4/4 time. But Ozzy… Ozzy was the center. Not because he outshone them—but because he carried their weight with him. Every lyric, every howl, every slurred syllable—he bled for it. And it made you want to bleed too. Not out of pain, but out of relief. Out of finally feeling seen. At that point in my life, I was a mess. Depression isn’t poetic when it’s real. It’s a leech that sticks to your soul. Addiction was more than a phase—it was a language I was fluent in. Some nights, I’d sit by the window, smoke curling into the sky, thinking I wouldn’t make it through the night. And then No More Tears would come on. And something in that song—something I still can’t name—would anchor me. Just enough to hold on till morning. Ozzy never told you it would get better. He never lied. But he was there—in your headphones, in your bloodstream, in your darkest hours. He gave us something better than optimism. He gave us honesty. And through that honesty, hope. He never claimed to be a hero. He never wore a crown. But for all of us who didn’t fit, who didn’t shine, who didn’t have the words—Ozzy was the voice. And Paranoid—God help me—that song still wrecks me. Every time that riff kicks in, I’m seventeen again, scared out of my mind, but finally feeling like maybe, just maybe, someone else out there gets it that it’s okay not to be OK. That you can be broken and still be. He’s gone now. And the silence he leaves behind is almost unbearable. But it’s also filled with something else—something heavy and holy. Because right now, somewhere in a bedroom lit by the dull blue glow of a laptop screen, some kid just hit play on Paranoid for the first time. And he’s scared. And confused. And lost in his head. But for those three minutes and thirty-one seconds—he’s not alone. Ozzy’s there. Whispering. Screaming and holding the line. You don’t have to meet someone to know them. I met Ozzy every time I needed a reason to stay. Every time I needed someone to scream for me when I couldn’t scream for myself. So here’s to him. To Ozzy. To every busted mic and blown amp and bloodied lyric. To the band that didn’t just change music—but changed me. Rest loud, man. And thank you for giving chaos a sound, and giving kids like me the strength to survive it. In An Earnest Colloquy With Patricia Contreras by Anushka Sharma In An Earnest Colloquy With Patricia Contreras 10 April 2023 COVER STORIES Advertisement Patricia is most definitely an au naturel when it comes to acing the realm of fashion, art and beauty. Here’s us, encapsulating a bit of her life that she shares with us in much fondness. How are you? How’s life going? I am glad to share my path today with your community, it is an honor to be here to talk about my life. Everything is going very well, I have a lot of meetings, trips, and interesting people to meet. I am grateful with life for all the paths I am living, if I imagine all I am living today is exactly what I dreamt about when I was a child.” Well, it indeed is a rarity to be doing what you’ve always wished to do indeed! When asked about Beauty, fashion, art: If she could pick one and only one of these, what would it be and why? I am an artist, and expressing my creativity everyday is a must for me, I have always dreamed of having big collaboration with big brands like Vuitton, or with brands that align to my vision and moto in life, to reply to your question, I can’t choose one topic is just the way I can express and create something that drives my purpose everyday. We’ve been loving your fashion looks lately. Do you have any unpopular facts you’d want to share with us about the fashion weeks you attend? Style is the most important for me, not only in clothes but in everything I do, since I was a kid I always wanted to add my personal touch to everything I do. I have worked with many stylists and my style has grown through the years, I had experimented every single possible style with clothes, hair and makeup, I think I have tried it all and now I am focusing to develop a street - high fashion style, in my opinion is what is working now, we came to an era that everything is mixed now, we have to adapt everyday, I am open to collaborate with new brands, is part of my job. I love to experiment. If I can give advice, it is to not be afraid to experiment, or to not try to fit in the box, go far away from your comfort zone. If not in this industry, where else would you see yourself? I see myself in the United Nations or inside a laboratory experimenting new ways to improve health, DNA issues, I am a geek inside of me, I just love to learn and study. Well, this definitely brought a smile to our face! How rare is it to see such a bewitching combination! When asked about what inspires her art, she says, “My art is inspired by cinema icons, fashion legends, art movements during the time, everything that make an impact on society, art is the most powerful way to express the evolution of a society, art is power and is the ultimate luxury to manifest a position.” Patricia dons a lot of hats at once. We couldn’t help but ask where she sees herself ten years from now, to which she replied,”I do not make plans that long term, but certainly I would like to have the opportunity to create collaborations with fashion brands, make up brands, having my own talkshow, I will let life to surprise me, maybe life can change dramatically, who knows.” Which designer do you look up to in terms of haute couture? I admire and follow designers who know how to enhance the woman, who can magnify her beauty, I can list my favorite ones lately, Valdrin Sahiti, Georges Hobeika, Rick Owens, Dolce and Gabbana, Zuhair Murad, JeanPaul Gaultier, Carolina Herrera, Oscar de la Renta, I think all of them know how to catch the true essence of a woman, there are so many out there, but I just love these ones. Have you ever considered exploring the Indian fashion industry? I have always been very curious about the Indian market. I admire and share their millenary culture, I have many Indian friends and it is my dream to explore India one time on a long trip. I love their cinema too and the people, very warm and kind. About fashion I only know Manish Arora that I used to assist at his show in Paris. At what age did you start involving yourself into the world of art? I was born an artist, I think art is a path that either you born with it or not, you can’t learn this, you have to born with it, since I was 3 I was already painting, everything I was doing was creative, I knew since the beginning that I was not like the rest of my class, I always feel different, the only thing I was interested in was drawing, painting, or plastic classes, I even wonder why I didn’t just did that, I need time to find myself too, I guess. What is art to you? Art for me can be everything, is the way you see and follow your life, the biggest artists are people who truly lived their life through it, there is no in between, you have to let it kill you and express from it, it can sound very dramatic but it can be obsessive, when I used to have my atelier I was consumed by it, I didn’t want to leave, I could eat and sleep in front of my paintings, I had dreams about what I should create, was crazy, is like your loose the meaning of time, hours, days, nothing matters anymore but to take out what is inside of you. What does your art revolve around? My art sparkles joy, fashion, sensuality, love and femininity. It is a tribute to women and how we had evolved through history, through the men's vision, and how powerful we are today, because the world now revolves around women. Can we know a little about your new projects? “I would like to crate an apparel brand, that can extend on the years, as I mentioned above to have my talk show, many things can happen, I will update you accordingly.” Well, we’re not sure of being updated about her ongoing and upcoming projects, but this conversation has definitely refreshed our perspective in understanding how one can do it all indeed! - How Koreans Eat And Drink Their Way To Beautiful Skin
By Anushka Sharma By Anushka Sharma How Koreans Eat And Drink Their Way To Beautiful Skin 20 June 2024 BEAUTY Advertisement Advertisement Koreans are renowned for their glowing, youthful complexions, and it’s no secret that diet plays a significant role in their skincare regimen. While the world often marvels at their intricate beauty routines, the foundation of their enviable skin lies in the foods and drinks they consume daily. From fermented vegetables to soothing teas, Korean cuisine is packed with nutrients that promote healthy, radiant skin. Here’s a closer look at some of the key elements of the Korean diet that contribute to beautiful skin. Kimchi: The Fermented Marvel Kimchi, a staple in Korean households, is a spicy, fermented cabbage dish that offers numerous benefits for the skin. This pungent dish is loaded with garlic, chili, and antioxidants that help fight the aging process and promote an even complexion. Selenium and other nutrients in kimchi enhance skin elasticity and clarity. Eaten with almost every meal, kimchi adds a flavorful punch to dishes while nourishing the skin from within. Despite its strong smell that can dominate your fridge, kimchi is a must-try for anyone looking to improve their skin health naturally. Seaweed Soup (Miyeok Guk): Nutrient-Rich Tradition Seaweed soup, known as Miyeok Guk, is a traditional dish consumed especially during breakfast and on birthdays. This custom stems from the practice of giving new mothers seaweed soup to replenish vital nutrients lost during childbirth. Rich in sulfates, seaweed has a soothing effect on the skin and helps maintain its elasticity. By choosing seaweed soup over sugary birthday treats, Koreans ensure their skin remains youthful and vibrant, even as they celebrate another year. Soybean Soup (Doenjang Jjigae): The Antioxidant Powerhouse Doenjang Jjigae, a beloved soybean soup, is a daily fixture in Korean meals. Made from fermented soybean paste, this soup is rich in vitamin E and antioxidants that protect the skin from UV damage and environmental stressors. The affordability and nutritional benefits of soybeans make this dish a popular choice, proving that effective skincare can also be cost-effective. Incorporating Doenjang Jjigae into your diet can help shield your skin from damage and maintain its natural glow. Barley Tea (Bori Cha): The Circulation Booster Barley tea, or Bori Cha, is a refreshing beverage enjoyed hot in the winter and cold in the summer. Known for its deep, nutty flavor, barley tea is consumed in large quantities by Koreans for its health benefits, particularly for the skin. This tea enhances circulation, which is crucial for keeping the skin firm and promoting cell regeneration. Swapping out your usual coffee for barley tea can significantly benefit your skin, making it a simple yet effective addition to your skincare routine. Fermented Rice Wine (Makgeolli): The Skin Brightener Makgeolli, a traditional Korean rice wine, is more than just a drink; it's a skincare elixir. Unlike other alcoholic beverages, Makgeolli is rich in vitamin B and amino acids, which help brighten the skin and even out the complexion. It's also beneficial for treating acne. The skincare benefits of Makgeolli have inspired a variety of beauty products, including sheet masks and serums. Enjoying Makgeolli not only adds a touch of indulgence to your meals but also contributes to healthier, more radiant skin. The secret to Koreans’ beautiful skin lies in their dietary choices, which are rich in nutrients that support skin health. From the antioxidant-rich kimchi and nutrient-packed seaweed soup to the circulation-boosting barley tea and skin-brightening Makgeolli, these foods and drinks are integral to maintaining a youthful, radiant complexion. By incorporating these elements into your diet, you can harness the power of Korean cuisine to achieve beautiful skin from the inside out. - Ways to be kind to yourself
Ways to be kind to yourself by Neha Pande Ways to be kind to yourself 1 September 2020 LIFESTYLE Advertisement Be kind to yourself; your body, your soul and your mind because if you are not kind and loving to yourself then who will be? In today’s fast paced life we at times forget to take care of ourselves and when even a tiny thing doesn’t go according to our plan we start to feel low; beating ourselves over that one tiny mishap. During times like these we must take a step back and be kind to ourselves. Mishaps happen, problems and issues occur but we must stay strong and be kind to ourselves. Keeping that in mind we have made a list of ways which will help you be kinder to yourself. Take some time out for yourself – Take a break, take a time out and call it your day. Everyone needs rest and at times the best way to love yourself and be kind to yourself is to take a break and rest your body, soul and mind. Let yourself recharge and get ready for days to come. Go on a little vacation or if you can’t then take some time out to read your favourite book, watch a movie, cook, bake or go for a spa! Sky’s the limit; but make sure whatever you do, it relaxes you and makes you happy. Call a Friend – At times all we need is to call someone and vent all our troubles out and that’s why, when in doubt you go call your best friend. Friends can always hype you up and make you feel like you are on top of the world. Calling someone also helps you solve a lot of issues and helps you realise your self worth making you feel loved and appreciated. Just pick up your phone and call or in Sam Smith’s words “I’m only one call away, I’ll be there to save the day.” Give yourself a pep talk – “Hey you! You are stunning and beautiful!” Pep talks are essential especially on a low day. Instead of counting all the flaws in you, celebrate the good in yourself. Practice the art of pep talks; go stand in front of the mirror and remind yourself of how beautiful you are and how much of an amazing person you are. Take a nap – Why do you think babies are so happy most of the times? Studies have shown that taking naps can definitely make a person be energised and happy. Naps are like the super tablets that a person needs to be happy and if you are happy and energised you’ll be more kind too yourself. One nap a day will definitely make all you worries go away. Go for a walk or exercise – Go out into the world and breathe in the fresh air letting go of your worries. Walks and working out will not only keep you healthy and active but will also keep you fresh and happy. So pop in your earphones and blast some Beyoncé as you go workout or some Sam Smith for calm peaceful walks. - The Very Naked Case Of John Cena
The Very Naked Case Of John Cena By Anushka Sharma The Very Naked Case Of John Cena 13 March 2024 FASHION Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement The glitz, the glamor, and yes, the unexpected nudity—welcome to the wild world of the Oscars ! Let's dive into the sensational saga of John Cena's bare-it-all moment at the 96th Annual Academy Awards in 2024 and how it echoes the infamous streaking incident from 1974. Picture this: Hollywood's finest gather to celebrate the crème de la crème of cinema at the Oscars. But amidst the star-studded affair, there's one man who decides to steal the spotlight in the most daring way possible—none other than wrestling legend turned actor, John Cena. Now, Cena wasn't up for any awards that night, but he sure made his mark. Strutting onto the stage alongside host Jimmy Kimmel, Cena left jaws dropping and tongues wagging as he stood there, completely in the buff. It was a bold move, to say the least, but Cena wasn't about to let a little thing like clothes get in the way of making a statement. So, what prompted this risqué display? Well, Kimmel, ever the mischief-maker, harked back to a legendary moment in Oscars history—the streaking incident of 1974. Back then, a fellow by the name of Robert Opel caused quite the stir by dashing across the stage in his birthday suit. And Kimmel, always one for a good laugh, thought it would be hilarious to recreate that moment with Cena. But Cena wasn't having it. With a twinkle in his eye and a hint of mischief, he declared, "The male body is not a joke." It was a powerful statement, reminding us all that there's more to nudity than just shock value. And with that, Cena took his place on stage, ready to present the award for Best Costume Design. Of course, presenting an award at the Oscars is no easy feat, especially when you're doing it in the buff. Cena struggled to open the winner's envelope, his lack of clothing proving to be more of a hindrance than a help. But hey, that's showbiz for you! Meanwhile, let's rewind the clock to 1974, the year of the original Oscars streaker, Robert Opel. As host David Niven attempted to introduce Elizabeth Taylor, Opel made his grand entrance, streaking across the stage with reckless abandon. It was a moment of pure chaos and hilarity, with Niven quick to quip, "Isn't it fascinating to think that probably the only laugh that man will ever get in his life is by stripping off and showing his shortcomings?" Opel's motives were unclear—some say he was advocating for body positivity, while others claim he simply wanted his fifteen minutes of fame. But regardless of his intentions, Opel's streaking stunt left an indelible mark on Oscars history, setting the stage for future moments of unexpected hilarity. Back in 2024, Cena's bare-it-all moment may not have been as spontaneous as Opel's, but it was certainly no less entertaining. As he stood there, stark naked, presenting an award at the most prestigious event in Hollywood, Cena reminded us all that sometimes, you've just got to strip away the pretense and embrace the absurdity of it all. So, whether you're a wrestling fan, a movie buff, or just someone who enjoys a good laugh, Cena's naked Oscars moment is sure to go down in history as one of the most memorable—and hilarious—moments in Oscars history. - Behind The Lens: Heli Ved's Secrets To Creating Content That Resonates With The Masses
Behind The Lens: Heli Ved's Secrets To Creating Content That Resonates With The Masses by Akshra Khandelwal Behind The Lens: Heli Ved's Secrets To Creating Content That Resonates With The Masses 27 August 2023 LIFESTYLE Advertisement In digital content creation, few names shine as brightly as Heli Ved's. With a thriving YouTube channel and a dedicated following on social media, Heli has captured the hearts of her viewers through her niche content in fashion and beauty. In an exclusive interview for our magazine, Heli reveals the secrets behind her success, her evolution as a content creator, and her dreams for the future. "How are you, and how is everything going on in your life?" we inquired. Heli enthusiastically responds, "I'm doing great, thanks for asking! I'm creating new content every day and ensuring my audience has something unique to experience daily. I'm also focusing on creating niche content in fashion and beauty. I'm excited about my progress, and I can't wait to see what the future holds." Heli's journey on YouTube has been remarkable, and we wonder what sets her content apart and resonates so well with her audience. She replies thoughtfully, "As you know, content is king in today's digital world, and building connections with my audience is paramount to me. Several factors contribute to successful content, including relevance, authenticity, consistency, and adaptation to the platform. Ultimately, creating content that resonates with the audience requires understanding their preferences." From her early days as a content creator to where she is now, Heli's approach to creating videos and engaging with her audience has evolved significantly. "Staying relevant and adapting to trends has become crucial as online platforms and audience preferences evolve," she explains. "Overall, the evolution of content creation has been influenced by technological advancements, shifts in audience behavior, and a deep understanding of the need to connect with viewers on a more personal level." Having amassed a large and dedicated following, we are curious how Heli stays connected with her audience despite the growing numbers. She reveals her strategy, "Interacting with the audience on social media platforms allows us as creators to respond to comments, questions, and feedback, fostering a sense of community. Tailoring content to address specific interests and preferences of different audience segments can enhance engagement. Recognizing and celebrating milestones (e.g., subscriber count) makes the audience feel appreciated and included in the journey." We lighten the mood with a fun question, asking Heli, "If you could be one animal, mythical or existent, what would you be?" She smiles and replies, "I'd be a Phoenix! Bold and elegant, loyal to loved ones and possessing immense courage." As we delve deeper into Heli's career, we ask her to share a highlight from her journey. She fondly recalls, "Hosting the IIFA Red carpet is definitely one of the highlights. I started content creation with the sheer love of building a community, and when that took me places, it felt surreal. My love for extempore as a kid and picking a Speech and Drama class as the extracurricular activity, all made sense at that moment." We are intrigued to know who Heli's dream collaboration would be with and why. She shares her heartfelt dream, "My dream collab is to meet Zoë Sugg and film a classic Haul or makeup routine video with her because she inspired me to start my channel. At a time when I was transitioning from school to college when a lot of things felt overwhelming, her videos helped me immensely. She truly was like an elder sister to me in that phase, and that's what I wanted to emulate." Wrapping up the interview, we seek some advice from Heli for aspiring content creators. "What advice do you have for someone who wants to start creating content on Instagram?" She enthusiastically responds, "Decide on a specific niche or theme for your content. Focusing on a topic you are passionate about will help you attract a targeted audience. Develop a consistent visual style and branding for your posts. Use similar filters, colors, and fonts to create a cohesive and recognizable aesthetic. Lastly, consistency is key to growing your presence on Instagram. Stick to your content schedule and stay dedicated to producing quality content regularly. Enjoy the process, be creative, and have fun sharing your passion with the world!" Heli Ved's journey from a passionate content creator to an influential figure in fashion and beauty is nothing short of inspiring. Her dedication to building connections with her audience, authenticity, and ability to adapt to evolving trends have been key to her success. As she continues to explore new horizons and collaborate with her inspirations, we can't wait to see where her journey takes her next. With Heli's uplifting spirit and commitment to her craft, her future in the digital realm looks as bright as the mythical Phoenix she admires. - Victoria’s Secret’s Bombshell Turns 15: A Fragrance That Still Owns The Room
By Shriniwas Kodape By Shriniwas Kodape Victoria’s Secret’s Bombshell Turns 15: A Fragrance That Still Owns The Room 3 June 2025 BEAUTY Advertisement Advertisement Some perfumes fade into the background, and then there are those that define a moment. A decade and a half ago, Victoria’s Secret launched Bombshell—a fragrance that didn’t just sit pretty on a vanity but boldly claimed its space in culture, closets, and memory. Fifteen years later, Bombshell is not simply returning for a nostalgic nod; she’s stepping back into the spotlight with all the elegance, charm, and quiet ferocity that made her a household name. Let’s be honest: the early 2010s were saturated with scents. But Bombshell didn’t just join the party—she threw her own. Crafted by perfumer Adriana Medina, it was a fragrance that didn’t tiptoe into the room. It strode in, heels clicking, leaving behind a trail of fruity-floral intrigue. The formula was feminine but not fragile—think passionfruit, peony, and a whisper of vanilla orchid. It was sweet, yes, but with an undeniable edge. The kind of scent you’d wear on both a first date and a boardroom pitch. It didn’t just smell good; it smelled intentional. Now, as the fragrance marks its fifteenth year, Victoria’s Secret has gifted Bombshell a complete moment. The limited-edition 15th Anniversary bottle gleams like it knows it’s the centerpiece. Sleek, structured, and bathed in high-gloss pink, it pays homage to the original design while upgrading it with a sharper, modern elegance. The signature stripes are still present—like a wink from the past—but the overall silhouette feels grown, grounded, and glamorously minimal. This anniversary isn't just about a new bottle. It’s a global celebration of what the fragrance has meant to millions. From Manhattan’s cobblestoned Gansevoort Plaza to the heart of Kuala Lumpur and even the buzzing fashion energy of Riyadh, the Bombshell pop-ups were not perfume counters—they were immersive experiences. Picture pink-hued florals cascading across archways, scent bars where visitors could discover their perfect match, exclusive merch drops, and branded cafés with rose-tinted lattes. It wasn’t just marketing—it was memory-making. The kind of experience where fragrance and fantasy blur. In each city, women lined up not only for selfies and samples but for something quieter, more personal: a reminder of who they were when they first wore Bombshell. A return to that spark. Fronting the campaign is model Devyn Garcia , who brings an effortless magnetism to the reimagined Bombshell story. Photographed by Lachlan Bailey and styled by Emmanuelle Alt, the visuals are stripped of overproduction and rich with intimacy. Gone are the flashbulbs and maximalism of past eras—replaced instead with softness, natural light, and quiet confidence. Devyn doesn’t shout. She doesn’t need to. She embodies a woman who knows herself—and that’s the point. Bombshell has matured, but she hasn’t lost her spark. She’s simply shifted her power inward. At the center of it all is Adriana Medina, who reflects on what it means to create a fragrance that’s become iconic. “I never imagined how many women this scent would connect with,” she says. “It represents a kind of empowered femininity—sensual, but self-assured. That’s what keeps it alive, even fifteen years later.” And she’s right. Because Bombshell is more than notes and chords—it’s nostalgia. For many, it was the first perfume they saved up for. The one that got them compliments on elevators. The one they wore to graduation, to heartbreak, to new beginnings. It’s the invisible signature that lingered after the goodbye. A spritz of Bombshell isn’t just a scent—it’s a return to self. In an era where the fragrance industry constantly chases the next “clean” or “genderless” formula, there’s something almost rebellious about Bombshell’s steadfast femininity . She never deluded herself. She never tried to be everything for everyone. She’s pink, she’s unapologetic, and she’s timeless—not because she resists change, but because she evolves without losing herself. Fifteen years is no small feat in an industry that often thrives on reinvention. But Bombshell didn’t just survive the trend cycles—she transcended them. She stayed relevant not by shapeshifting, but by growing alongside the women who wore her. So here she is—sharper, sleeker, and as magnetic as ever. Not looking back, but walking forward. A little wiser, just as bold. The 15th Anniversary collection is now available in Victoria’s Secret stores and online. The Eau de Parfum is accompanied by mist, lotion, and even a diffuser—because why should your apartment smell like anything less than your best self? Bombshell at 15 is more than a birthday. It’s a statement: Some icons don’t fade. They just get better with time.
