- AiSPi Wanderlust Diaries: Marzook, L’Afshar, And A Fashion Bender In Mumbai
AiSPi Wanderlust Diaries: Marzook, L’Afshar, And A Fashion Bender In Mumbai By Shriniwas Kodape AiSPi Wanderlust Diaries: Marzook, L’Afshar, And A Fashion Bender In Mumbai 25 April 2025 FASHION Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement There are days in Mumbai when the air feels heavier, as if the city’s leaning in, waiting for something to happen. This was one of those days. On the top floors of The St. Regis Mumbai, the curtains pulled back, the champagne flowed too early, and a different kind of storm rolled in — a beautiful, high-fashion cyclone called AiSPi Wanderlust Diaries . Now, if you’ve never heard of AiSPi , let me put it this way — it’s not your typical, sterile pop-up pushing overpriced clichés. No, this is the stuff of fashion folklore, the kind of operation run by people who chase labels in alleyways of Antwerp and underground ateliers in Istanbul. They traffic in stories, not trends. And this weekend, they turned Mumbai into their playground. Marzook was there — those wild, sculptural bags that feel like tiny spaceships for your secrets, glittering like fever dreams under the ballroom lights. These weren’t bags you politely slung over your shoulder. No. These are bags you build an entire damn night around. You walk into a room with a Marzook, and you don’t just arrive — you declare war on subtlety. Then came L’Afshar . Minimalist? Sure. But not in that quiet, forgettable way. Sharp-edged, modern relics that look like they were carved out of glass by someone with a hangover and a god complex. I watched people — the loud, the shy, the ones pretending not to care — run their fingers over those cool, marble-like surfaces. They didn’t just want to carry them; they wanted to be the kind of person who could. And if you drifted past the handbags and martinis, you'd stumble onto things that didn't shout — but whispered in the most intoxicating ways. The Pen Stroke , with hand-drawn journals and prints that made you want to run away to somewhere lawless and write everything down. And The Charm Shop , selling tiny, sparkling talismans — little anchors in a city that never stops spinning. But here’s what most people won’t tell you: It wasn’t about the shopping. Not really. It was about what those pieces made you feel. It was about holding something that carried the fingerprints of another world. About standing in a room full of strangers and thinking, Damn, maybe Mumbai’s finally getting the fashion scene it deserves. And adding to this electric madness, AiSPi unveiled their new Spring/Summer 2025 collections — a breathtaking lineup from 30+ global designers , each piece a portal to some sun-drenched square in Valencia, a candlelit studio in Paris, or a wild rooftop atelier in Tbilisi. These weren’t just collections; they were declarations of where fashion is going next, and Mumbai got the first, intoxicating taste. By evening, the place wasn’t just a pop-up — it was a fever dream. People weren’t browsing; they were hunting. The room smelled like perfume, leather, ambition, and a little danger. And that’s exactly how it should be. Wanderlust Diaries wasn’t a polite fashion event. It was a beautiful, decadent act of rebellion. Proof that in this fast, crowded, endlessly noisy city, there’s still room for things that are rare, strange, and alive. Here’s to more nights like this. More stories told in silk, sequins, scribbled journals, and hard-edged acrylic bags. And to AiSPi — may they keep smuggling this beautiful madness across borders, bringing the world’s finest, strangest, most beautiful things straight into the heart of Mumbai. See you at the next one. Bring your chaos. And your wallet. - Perlée Reimagined: Van Cleef & Arpels’ Sculptural Elegance In Motion
Perlée Reimagined: Van Cleef & Arpels’ Sculptural Elegance In Motion By Ananya Patankar Perlée Reimagined: Van Cleef & Arpels’ Sculptural Elegance In Motion 17 July 2025 FASHION Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement Art in Orbit Golden beads, secret watches, and a new artistic collaboration—the Maison’s Perlée collection returns with playful grandeur and signature savoir-faire Graceful and luminous, the new Perlée collection by Van Cleef & Arpels captures the Maison’s talent for turning simplicity into seduction, and gold into poetry. At the heart of these creations lies the golden bead—a Maison signature that transforms geometry into poetry, and ornament into art. Re-imagined with luminous stones, sculptural volumes, and secret surprises, the new collection is a celebration of lightness, movement, and refined whimsy. With every piece, Perlée reflects the spirit of Van Cleef & Arpels: a house where legacy meets invention, and where each jewel whispers a story shaped by beauty, heritage, and exceptional savoir-faire . The Perlée collection is Van Cleef & Arpels at its most elemental, where form and finesse converge in a single motif: the golden bead . Rooted in the ancient art of granulation, these gleaming orbs have traced the Maison’s history—from the bold contours of the 1948 Couscous bracelet to the delicate curves of the Alhambra motif introduced in 1968. But in Perlée, the bead is no longer just an accent, it is the star. Rounded, radiant, and impossibly harmonious, each bead reflects light with a joyful rhythm, lending the collection its signature sense of movement and clarity. They speak a universal design language: playful yet composed, architectural yet fluid. In a world often defined by excess, Perlée offers quiet glamour—a reminder that simplicity, when perfected, is the ultimate sophistication. Whether strung delicately across a ring or encircling the wrist in gold-dusted precision, the bead becomes more than material; it becomes emotion made visible. This season, Perlée unfolds in a crescendo of preciousness, offering creations that shimmer with individuality while maintaining the collection’s signature symmetry and charm. From sculpted rings to delicate earrings, the collection balances minimalist elegance with sumptuous craftsmanship. In the Perlée Signature line, rings and bracelets crafted in white, rose, or yellow gold exude an effortless purity and sculptural grace. Their surfaces are adorned with solely polished golden beads, making each curve feel architectural and serene. For those drawn to symbolism, the Perlée Clovers collection brings the Maison’s cherished motif of luck to life , with stylized four-leaf patterns traced in radiant beads and brilliant diamonds. Meanwhile, With Perlée Couleurs, vibrant hues take center stage, stones such as turquoise, malachite, and coral are set within gleaming gold, their natural and untreated clarity carefully preserved. That’s not all, then comes the opulent sparkle of Perlée Diamonds: five rows of rose or white gold beads interspersed with diamonds that catch and scatter light with every movement. These asymmetric compositions add a dynamic edge to the collection, allowing pieces to be layered or worn alone in quiet majesty. True to Van Cleef & Arpels’ standards, each gemstone is handpicked with a collector’s eye: diamonds from D to F in color, IF to VVS in clarity, and colored stones celebrated for their crystalline depth and natural brilliance. The result? Jewelry that glows, not just with light, but with legacy and pride. In the world of Van Cleef & Arpels, time is never simply measured—it is adorned, concealed, and re-imagined. With the new Perlée timepieces, the Maison continues its tradition of crafting jewels that tell time, fusing haute horlogerie with haute joaillerie in elegant harmony. At first glance, the Perlée watches appear like exquisite bracelets—slender, luminous, and perfectly balanced. But look closer, and you’ll discover dials crafted in guilloché white mother-of-pearl, gently encased within golden beaded frames. The delicate structure is held in place by a discreet central attachment, a subtle nod to Van Cleef’s aesthetic signatures. The true enchantment, however, lies in the secret watches, pieces that veil the passage of time behind layers of artistry. The Perlée Secret Pendant watch , for instance, hides its dial beneath a beaded disc set with rubies and diamonds, while the Toi & Moi Secret Watch balances twin dials like a duet, echoing themes of love and duality. Invisible mechanisms, such as a hidden push-button to set the time, elevate the technical mastery. And with interchangeable straps in leather or grosgrain, each timepiece can shift from day to night with seamless grace, proof that practicality and poetry can indeed coexist. What is special about this season’s Perlée collection is that it arrives with a visual storybook crafted by long-time collaborator Arthur Hoffner , a French designer whose sculptural imagination transforms the collection into an atmospheric dreams-cape. Since 2018, Hoffner has brought his signature playfulness and precision to Van Cleef & Arpels campaigns—but this year, his vision is more enchanting than ever. Set against a stylized snowy village, his backdrop of geometric forms, arches, spheres, and delicate slopes create a miniature world where jewelry appears to move with the light. It’s not merely a setting but a mood: poetic, architectural, and serene. Hoffner’s affinity for spheres resonates deeply with Perlée’s essence . “The sphere is almost too perfect to be of this Earth,” he muses, an idea echoed in every golden bead. His interpretation gives the collection a new narrative dimension, one that marries fantasy and form. Like the jewelry itself, his visuals whisper of quiet luxury artful, intentional, and impossible to forget. Behind every piece in the Perlée collection lies the Maison’s uncompromising commitment to exceptional craftsmanship, a philosophy that turns metal and mineral into living art. From the first sketch to the final polish, each creation is shaped by the hands of expert artisans, drawing on techniques passed down through generations. Iconic to Van Cleef & Arpels, the golden beads are sculpted with exceptional precision—generous in form, flawlessly smooth, and mirror-polished to catch and reflect light with breathtaking clarity. Whether arranged in fluid lines or clustered with precious stones, the beads create a tactile richness that’s instantly recognizable. When set with diamonds or vibrant stones, each piece undergoes openwork detailing, allowing light to pass through and illuminate the stones from within. This interplay of light magnifies their natural brilliance while maintaining the collection’s signature airiness. Even the mechanisms behind the timepieces are artfully concealed, ensuring that functionality never compromises beauty. Each element, every clasp, every stone, every bead bears the Maison’s signature of attention to detail. It’s not just jewelry, but a legacy of excellence, designed to be cherished across generations. To own a piece from the Perlée collection is to step into the storied world of Van Cleef & Arpels, a world shaped not by fleeting trends, but by enduring codes, timeless beauty, and a quiet sense of exclusivity. The golden bead, now a house signature, first graced the Maison’s creations in the late 1940s and has since become a symbol of its refined identity. From the Couscous wristwatch of 1949 to the beloved Alhambra motif that debuted in 1968, golden beads have traced the outlines of Van Cleef’s most iconic designs. Over the decades, they’ve appeared alongside whimsical animal clips, vivid gemstones, and sculptural silhouettes. Yet in Perlée, the motif reaches its full expression, elevated from decorative flourish to elemental form. And while the aesthetic remains open and joyful, the sense of rarity is unmistakable. Each piece is a testament to precision, restraint, and artistic qualities that define the Van Cleef & Arpels woman. In a world saturated with spectacle, Perlée offers a different kind of luxury: intimate, eternal, and exquisitely French. There are jewels that dazzle, and then there are jewels that stay with you, not just on the skin, but in memory, in feeling, in the quiet assertion of elegance they lend to every gesture. Perlée belongs to the latter. It doesn’t clamor for attention; it glows . With each golden bead, Van Cleef & Arpels invites you into a world where time slows, beauty speaks softly, and every detail is a promise kept. Whether it circles your wrist or rests gently at your collarbone, a Perlée creation doesn’t merely adorn, it transforms. It reminds you that luxury isn’t about more; it’s about meaning. And perhaps, that’s what makes Van Cleef & Arpels irresistible. - Famous Awe-Inspiring Castles That Need To Be On Your Next Travel List
by Saumya Mishra TRAVEL Famous Awe-Inspiring Castles That Need To Be On Your Next Travel List by Saumya Mishra 25 February 2023 Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement Baker Mayfield once quoted, "You don't build a great castle just all at once." Castles are fortified buildings built by the royals in the medieval era, for defense purposes and to protect the people living in them from invasions. The era of castles started about 1000 years ago and lasted for almost 500 years. The lavish architectural designs and extravagant luxurious interiors of the castles often were to display the wealth and power of the nobility. Almost every castle in the world has been said to hold history and secrets of its own, which many historians and archeologists are still trying to unravel. Regardless of their stories behind the walls, castles make great historical monuments. These establishments have a mysterious aura and magic of their own and have been attracting the eyes of tourists for a century, which has seen a gradual increase in recent years. Modern people are hugely interested and invested in learning about the history, art, and triumph of the people who once inhabited these places. Not only castles are intriguing but overall look like a place out of fairytales. Here we have listed some magnificent Castles that you need to include in your next travel plan and give yourself a magical fairytale vacation. 1. Tower Of London, England Situated on the north bank of the River Thames in central London, the notorious Tower of London is known to be one of the most famous castles in England. Built in the 1070s, under the supervision of King William the Conquerer the Tower of London with its central white tower was built as a demonstration of Norman power, and to impose fear and submission into the heart of citizens of London. The castle brags about a bone-chilling history of oppression, cruelty, and death. The castle is also said to be used as a prison from 1000 to 1952. People guilty of crimes, real or not, we're brutally tortured and executed. The castle also shares a gruesome past of suspicious murders and executions. Many secrets and stories still revolve around the castle and especially around the torture chamber in it. The Tower of London is a wealth of history and stories. People can see crown jewels, enjoy the display of armor and weapons, feel the mystery to their bones, or witness the daily ceremony of keys done by Yeomen warders. It's England's most popular tourist attraction, and witnesses about 2 Million visits each year. The Tower of London is a honeycomb of experiences only if it's given enough time to be observed and experienced. 2. Eltz Castle, Germany Located in Rheinland-Palatine, known as the Moselle wine region famous for Riesling wine, Eltz Castle is a medieval castle nestled at the bottom of a heavily forested valley and surrounded by picturesque hills. Named a 'skyscraper' among castles this establishment is several stories tall and inhabits a small courtyard. Eltz tower has gradually become the most photographed Castle on social media sites, especially Instagram. The castle is situated in a secluded position, surrounded by thick forests, and gives the mysterious feeling of being something straight out of a fantasy book. The Eltz Castle is the Defensive Imperial Age Landmark of the Holy Roman Empire Civilization in Age of Empires IV. The noble family of Eltz has ownership of the castle to this day. 3. Malbork Castle, Poland Located in the Pomerania region of Poland, Malbork castle once used to be called the 'Castle Of The Teutonic Order' or 'Marienburg', is the largest brick castle in the world measured by land area and one of the most recommended place to visit in Poland. It was established by Teutonic Knights. The knights were brought from Germany to Poland to convert local pagan tribes to Christianity. The vision behind the establishment of this infrastructure was to make the 'Teutonic Knights' hold and power stronger in that area. The location of the castle was chosen strategically near the Baltic Sea river and River Vistula, Teutonic knights used to collect tolls from trading ships. Initially, the Castle was completed in 1406 but was expanded several times because of the growing number of Teutonic Knights. The castle faced huge casualties in World War II, but has been rebuilt again and is a major tourist attraction. The castle was added to the UNESCO world heritage list in 1997. 4. Predjama Castle, Slovenia Built in the historical region of Inner Carniola, located 9 kilometers from Postojna Cave in the village of Predjama, Predjama Castle is the largest cave castle in the world. Situated in a fortified position, this renaissance castle was built by the Patriarch of Aquileia in the gothic style. Behind this cave castle, there is a network of secret tunnels, from where the knight Erazem of Predjama would set out on his plundering explorations. Predjama castle is the perfect example of harmony between nature's creation and human creativity. The cave under Predjama castle is home to a colony of bats. Predjama castle holds a Guinness world record and is known to be one of the most fascinating castles. The castle is open to visitors for the whole year but the cave is open from only June to August due to the bats' hibernation period during the rest of the year. 5. Hohenwerfen Castle, Austria This 900-year-old castle is located in the Pongau region of Salzburg on the steep peak, high above the Salzach valley. Surrounded by the Berchtesgaden Alps and the Tennen Mountains this castle was built by the Archbishop of Salzburg in the 11th century as the sister of Hohensalzburg Fortress. The original castle was initially made of wood, however, by the 15th century Hohenwerfen was developed into a magnificent stone structure. The castle has served as a state prison for more than a century and hence developed a sinister reputation. The castle belongs to the state of Salzburg today and has been used as a tourist attraction since 1987. The majority of the initially formed building of medieval Edinburgh castle was destroyed during the Lang siege of the late 16th century, many fortifications happened in the 16th and 17th centuries, and many buildings were built in the late 19th century as well. It is a UNESCO World Heritage site and consists of many palaces and ecclesiastical buildings of various architectural and gothic styles. This medieval castle leaves people stunned and mesmerized by its spectacular beauty, charming courtyards, and splendid infrastructure. Many parts of the castle are free to explore but people need to buy tickets if they want to see the exhibitions. 8. Eilean Donan, Scotland Eilean Donan is one of the most famous castles in Scotland. Situated at the confluence of three sea lochs Loch Duich, Loch Long, and Loch Alsh in the western Highlands of Scotland and originally built in the 13th Century as a fortified structure for defensive purposes. Eilean Donan is the most photographed fortress in Scotland and even got featured in movies like James Bond. A grey stone bridge connects the small island with the mainland. It is said that the castle we see today is not the original medieval castle, but was rebuilt in mock medieval style over the ruins of a former castle somewhere around the 1920s. Eco-friendly clothing is the need of the hour by Meenal Chand Eco-friendly clothing is the need of the hour 1 December 2020 FASHION Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement With the adverse chaotic outburst of the nature we are witnessing and the trendy ‘local for vocal’, there’s no harm or I must say there’s more smartness in switching to sustainability. One thing that is much needed and should be updated is the fashion and clothing and if it’s in the good side without putting burden on the environment we live in what could be better than that? Advocating sustainable fashion, I must say clothing made from cotton ,jute etc would not only be eco friendly but it could give a big boost to the economy as well if one finds a way to make it more reasonable and classy. Infact, bigger brands have already started working on that and it’s more of a movement and process fostering change to fashion products and the fashion system towards greater ecological integrity and social justice. Sustainable fashion concerns more than just addressing fashion textiles or products. It comprises addressing the whole system of fashion. In pursuit of making considerable great amendments in the field and to seek divergence from same old fibres ,this could be a real helpful way! #ecofriendlyclothing #Fashion #sustainablefashion SEARCH Why does Fashion Need Fashion Shows FASHION From Dreams To Crowns: Anuradha Garg’s Inspiring Mrs. India Story FASHION Colour Psychology in Fashion: Explained FASHION Legendary Female Icons Who Made Fashion Statements In The 20th Century FASHION The House of Chanel: History FASHION POPULAR POSTS Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement By Sakshi Shah Emporio Armani SS26 Is What Effortless Actually Looks Like Right Now 13 April 2026 FASHION By Sakshi Shah Max Fashion Turns 20 At Lakmé Fashion Week, In A Showcase That Felt Instinctive 7 April 2026 FASHION By Sakshi Shah Inside Lakmé Fashion Week: Triune By Prasoon Sharma Presents Fragile Dreams 2 April 2026 FASHION By Sakshi Shah Inside Gen Next At Lakmé Fashion Week: A Showcase Led By Saim 31 March 2026 FASHION RELATED POSTS Advertisement

- How to Travel Solo like a Pro
by Rupashree Ravi TRAVEL How to Travel Solo like a Pro by Rupashree Ravi 16 August 2022 Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement A one of a kind and once in a lifetime experience is travelling, and solo travel tops that. From budgeting, keeping calm in an emergency, to meeting interesting new people, and building a soul-enriching and meaningful relationship with yourself, it teaches you everything. The post pandemic world has seen a resurgence of people getting out of their homes to try and be a part of everything they can before the next inevitable global emergency. Solo travel is where it’s at. The boundless independence to the time for self-reflection that solo travel allows you, it is both exhilarating and enlightening, no matter your age. Traveling unlocks new parts of ourselves. Soloists have emerged as a fast-growing segment in the travel industry during the past decade. But people have their perceptions, misconceptions and fears when it comes to travelling solo. Some of the most seasoned solo travellers will tell you they didn’t initially set out to adventure on their own. It can come with sheer spontaneity or proper planning; there is no in-between. Along the way, many get hooked on this independent style of traveling — freely wending their way through countries on their own itineraries, or lack thereof, and enjoying the joy of meeting new paths and people. Discover new spots all by yourself With so many places to travel to, it can be overwhelming to pick your first solo travel destination. Start by giving your trip a focus, whether it’s an activity you’ve been wanting to try like hot air ballooning or a destination that’s long been on your list. So pick your destination, and leave lots of room for serendipity. Discover new restaurants and cuisines, museums, or sunset spots on your own, and follow the recommendations of different people like the local people and other tourists from different walks of life. This will build confidence and a great deal of adventure in you. You can meet people from different cultures and backgrounds Next, set a budget and have some flexibility as well. Hotel rooms are great, but you’d be surprised to know that hostels are amazing for networking and socializing. Many even have options for single rooms if you don’t want to share a space. As you set your trip budget, give yourself an extra ten per cent leeway for any change in plans. A solo trip is the best way to perfect the art of the selfie. Explore new camera settings. Or you can ask random strangers or fellow tourists on the street to click a photograph of you. Adventure and spontaneity are the two ingredients for a great solo trip Of course, safety is one of the most important aspects of solo travel. Always remain in well-lit areas and avoid shady places. When in crowded areas, stay clear of pickpockets and guard your belongings well. Share your location with a trusted contact and download maps and routes ahead of time. The beauty of solo travel is that you can have time by yourself, but you can also link up with other people who are travelling alone like you. Eventually, you will learn to enjoy your own company, and alone time is underrated. And when you meet people you click with, be open to adventure. So, here’s your push to get out on your own and explore the world! - The Revolutionary Fashion Bag Of 2024: Coperni Edition
The Revolutionary Fashion Bag Of 2024: Coperni Edition By Rini Pathak The Revolutionary Fashion Bag Of 2024: Coperni Edition 7 March 2024 FASHION Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement Success in the ever-evolving world of fashion, where trends change with the seasons, depends on one’s ability to stay current and creative. Coperni is one such brand that continuously pushes the limits of innovation and technology. Be it the year of 2023, when the designers of Coperni, Sebastien Meyer and Arnaud Vaillant showcased unique blend of modern styles with electronic gadgets, the Human Ai Pin being attached to lapels or the spraying of dress on the incredible Bella Hadid or even the bringing of robot dogs on the catwalk, Coperni have always been known for creating a stir at the Paris Fashion Week. This brand was founded in the year 2013 and have continued to be a revolutionary brand in the world of fashion. The latest and the most peculiar fashion accessory that has been launched by Coperni has been able to become the current talk of the town. I am talking here about the Air Swipe bag, created in collaboration with NASA. This bag is the brand’s newest take on its iconic Swipe Bag silhouette. It weighs just 33 grams overall and is constructed from the lightest solid substance in the world—99% air and 1% glass. The team was seen clarifying in an Instagram post published by the brand which stated, “nanomaterial has been used by NASA to capture stardust: because it can withstand extreme heat (1200o Celsius) and a pressure of 4000 times its weight. This Air Swipe bag is the biggest ever object made if this space technology nanomaterial.” The post goes on to say that silica aerogel, a nanomaterial, is the “glass of the future” and that despite being “very delicate,” the bag is actually “non-fragile.” Professor Ioannis Michaloudis created the bag, which measures 27 by 16 by 6 cm. NASA’s silica aerogel nanomaterial was first created and studied in the context of fine art by Dr. Ioniss Muchaloudis, a Greek academic, visual artist, and researcher who is renowned throughout the world as one of the pioneers in the fields of science and art. Coperni continues to be dedicated to designing the future of the fashion industry with this statement. With this invention Coperni has been able to prove that sky is actually the limits and maybe in the future it may even invent something which might showcase that even sky is not the limit. Now the question here, my beautiful readers is that is this bag the next most sustainable, fashionable and desirable thing in the fashion industry? Well, that only time shall tell which we all are looking forward to. - Day Two At Dubai Fashion Week AW 26-27 Was All About Contrast — And The Clothes Proved It
Day Two At Dubai Fashion Week AW 26-27 Was All About Contrast — And The Clothes Proved It By Sakshi Shah Day Two At Dubai Fashion Week AW 26-27 Was All About Contrast — And The Clothes Proved It 5 February 2026 FASHION Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement If day one of Dubai Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2026/27 felt composed and measured, day two opened up the conversation. The schedule brought together designers working in very different ways — from conceptual presentations to heritage-led collections and high-energy runway moments — all tied together by a clear focus on how clothes feel, move, and speak on the body. The day opened with Mrs. Keepa x CTRL + BLOCK, presented as part of e&’s cultural initiative, where fashion moved beyond the runway and into conversation. The presentation and panel explored ideas of identity, creativity, and authorship in today’s digital landscape, with Mrs. Keepa sharing her personal creative perspective. What stood out was how the clothing supported the dialogue — clean silhouettes, thoughtful construction, and a sense of restraint that allowed the ideas to breathe. Rather than overpowering the message, the looks acted as a quiet extension of it, reinforcing fashion as a medium for expression rather than just product. A shift in mood followed with NIF Global x London School of Trends , where emerging designers brought craft to the forefront. Handwoven textiles, traditional techniques, and contemporary silhouettes came together in a way that felt fresh rather than nostalgic. The collections balanced heritage with wearability — clothes that respected where they came from while clearly belonging to a global, modern wardrobe. There was confidence here, especially impressive for designers still early in their journeys. Celebrating five years, THAT Concept Store took a different approach, offering a curated womenswear showcase that highlighted the power of selection. Featuring international names like Rabanne , Mugler , and Magda Butrym , the edit focused on strong silhouettes, sculpted forms, and expressive femininity. Each look felt deliberate, reinforcing THAT’s reputation for championing fashion that is bold, directional, and culturally relevant. One of the most memorable moments of the day came from Saudi-based brand NARMA , making its Dubai Fashion Week debut with the collection The Agal . Traditionally worn by Arab men, the agal was reimagined through a feminine lens — transformed into sculptural shapes in soft pinks and whites. Embellished with pearls, sequins, and crystals, the pieces felt playful yet considered. It was a thoughtful take on heritage, allowing tradition to evolve through material and movement rather than formality. Closing the day on a completely different note was John Richmond , whose collection Viva Richmond! brought an unmistakable surge of energy to the runway. Leather, studs, bold silhouettes, and rock-inspired detailing defined the looks, blending the house’s iconic past with a contemporary edge. The collection celebrated individuality and attitude, reminding us that fashion can still feel raw, expressive, and unapologetic. It was a strong finish — confident, loud in the right way, and full of personality. Running alongside the runway shows, the DFW Buyers’ Programme continued at Dubai Design District , giving global retailers access to emerging talent and established names alike. The showroom buzz reflected the diversity seen on the runway — proof that Dubai Fashion Week is not about one look or one voice, but many. By the end of day two, one thing felt clear: Dubai Fashion Week AW26/27 thrived in contrast. From craft to curation, heritage to rebellion, the clothes told their own stories — and each did so in a way that felt honest, current, and wearable.
