  • Khushi Bhardwaj Is Growing Up On Screen, And Doing It Her Way

Khushi Bhardwaj Is Growing Up On Screen, And Doing It Her Way By Sakshi Shah Khushi Bhardwaj Is Growing Up On Screen, And Doing It Her Way 31 December 2025 COVER STORIES Advertisement Khushi Bhardwaj comes across exactly as she is curious, grounded, and comfortable in her own space. It’s a quality that reflects in the roles she chooses and the way she’s growing up on screen. There’s no rush to appear older or pressure to perform confidence louder than necessary. Instead, Khushi represents a new generation of actors who are learning in real time and letting experience shape them naturally. Her entry into acting wasn’t something she planned years in advance. In 2019, she was selected for a project that unexpectedly shifted the course of her life. Soon after, she moved from Delhi to Mumbai and stepped into a world she was only beginning to understand. At just 11 years old, everything felt sudden, but she moved forward with steady support from her family, especially her mother, who continues to play a key role in guiding her decisions. Over the years, Khushi has built a growing body of work across OTT platforms and films, with projects like Tiku Weds Sheru , Criminal Justice , 36 Days , and Baby John . Each role added something different to her journey, from understanding emotional depth to adapting to physically demanding shoots, allowing her to evolve quietly and consistently. One of her most formative experiences came with Tiku Weds Sheru . Watching Nawazuddin Siddiqui work up close gave her a deeper understanding of how instinct and improvisation shape a performance. Seeing scenes change in the moment taught her that acting isn’t about being perfect, but about being present and responsive. That understanding became especially important while working on Criminal Justice , a role that challenged her emotionally. The night before its release was filled with nerves and uncertainty. She worried about whether her portrayal would be understood the way it was intended. The response that followed, however, was overwhelming. Audiences connected with her performance, and the appreciation she received helped her trust her instincts and grow more confident in her choices. With Baby John , Khushi experienced the scale of big-screen cinema for the first time. Shooting across locations, adjusting to long schedules, and working in physically challenging conditions gave her a new perspective on filmmaking. Although she didn’t share many scenes with Varun Dhawan , what stayed with her was his warmth and humility on set, reinforcing her belief that success and kindness can go hand in hand. When it comes to preparing for a role, Khushi prefers to keep things simple. She spends time reading the script, giving herself space to understand the character rather than forcing emotion. She believes in keeping performances natural and letting small moments speak for themselves. Off screen, her personal style follows a similar approach. She prefers comfort over anything flashy, choosing relaxed silhouettes and easy outfits that allow her to move freely. Her style feels effortless and unfussy, reflecting the same ease she brings to her work. Despite her growing presence on screen, Khushi remains focused on balance. Academics are still a priority, and she chooses her projects carefully to avoid taking on too much at once. She openly acknowledges moments of self-doubt, often looking to directors for reassurance. For her, those moments are part of learning and improving, not something to be afraid of. Looking ahead, Khushi is open to exploring different genres. Action roles excite her, especially those involving adventure and physical challenges. At the same time, she’s drawn to strong, layered characters that allow emotional depth. While OTT platforms feel like a space she currently enjoys working in, cinema continues to be an important part of her future. Khushi Bhardwaj isn’t in a hurry to arrive. She’s taking her time, growing with each role, and allowing her journey to unfold naturally. In an industry that often celebrates speed, that sense of patience might just be what sets her apart. • What The World Can Learn From Sustainable Tourism In Kerala

by Yashi Srivastava by Yashi Srivastava What The World Can Learn From Sustainable Tourism In Kerala 24 February 2023 TRAVEL Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement Kerala, God’s Own Country, is full of magic. From mist-engulfed Western Ghats and mysterious mangroves to the heart-warming sights of tea states and marigold fields, there is just so much to experience in this mesmerizing southern Indian state. Amongst its countless striking features, being a pro at sustainable tourism seems to have overwhelmed the hearts of India and the world alike. So, what can we learn about sustainable tourism in Kerala? If you want to know, continue reading this article. The Responsible Tourism Mission Kerala is the first state of India to launch an idea related to responsible tourism - the responsible tourism mission , which tends to focus not just on the travelers who visit Kerala, but also takes care of the needs of the locals who live in the state. Most tourists only want to make their state better for the tourists. They would cut beautiful jungles to make space for more concrete and would even ignore the local people and their ideas regarding the expansion of tourists’ demands. With Kerala’s Responsible Tourism Mission, the change has already begun. Under this project, the focus is laid on issues like eradication of local poverty, developing villages and local communities as well as finding means to empower local women - you see, the keyword here is local. Under this Mission, several projects related to culture, village-life, economic, and social experiences in Kerala have been successfully launched and completed. Vocational training to local entrepreneurs and artisans integrate with tourism Several entrepreneurs and talented artists are trained under Kerala’s RT Mission to develop their skills and work with the tourism department to sell their products to the tourists or hotels, etc. The eco-friendly cloth bags have thus replaced plastic bags, along with many conscious products being introduced to the local homestays, hotels, and other market linkages. The opportunity thus, also provides a means of livelihood to the artists and micropreneurs. Bringing back the forgotten art forms of the state The state and its organizations have introduced several travel or art packages that allow tourists to get up and close with the timeless art forms of the state. However, the art forms aren’t limited to dance, music, or performing. It also includes packages to experience the grand festivals of the country, how the local artists live, and even, the history of the arts of Kerala. Accommodations with plastic-free zones and more The local homestays, even those that offer luxury stays, are conscious about the detrimental effects of the environment on nature. So, properties like Spice Village in Thekkady runs on 70% solar energy and doesn’t allow even percent of plastic use within its premises. The place also collects rainwater and recycles paper waste, and uses their own water bottles, among other conscious decisions. There is a vegan homestay in the state as well - the first of its kind in the country, where of course, the food is completely plant-based and thus, supports low carbon emission . The property collects rainwater and features compost toilets and home-made vegan food, all their profits go to a charity that improves welfare of stray animals. Wrapping up When it comes to sustainable tourism in India and the world, we still have a long way to go. However, Kerala has given us that ray of hope that will surely guide us through the end of the tunnel at the end of which we will surely find the light to keep going and growing responsibly. The next time you visit Kerala, remember to stay in a vegan yet luxurious homestay because now, you can! Blob - Kerala is all about beauty but so much more, like supporting sustainable tourism like no other country in the world. So, here is a sneak-peek into the missions and actions that Kerala has and is determined to take to make travel worth it for both locals as well as tourists. #KeralaTourism #Kerala #ResponsibleTourism #SustainableTourism #KeralaTravel SEARCH The Fashion Capitals Of Asia: Exploring Style Beyond Borders TRAVEL Unveiling Delights Of Hotel Palazzo Versace Gem Of Dubai TRAVEL 7 Abandoned Cities In India And Abroad That Are Too Beautiful To Be Forgotten TRAVEL airBaltic Makes Global Debut On World’s Safest Airlines List TRAVEL Revolutionizing Air Travel: Qatar Airways Introduces AI-Powered Booking With Sama TRAVEL POPULAR POSTS Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement By Shriniwas Kodape The Peninsula Bangkok: Grace Beside The Chao Phraya 4 October 2025 TRAVEL By Shriniwas Kodape 64 Floors Up: Lebua At State Tower Perspective 4 October 2025 TRAVEL By Shriniwas Kodape Four Seasons Bangkok: Where The River Holds Its Breath 17 September 2025 TRAVEL By Shriniwas Kodape Neon, Smoke, And Chili Fire: A Night In Bangkok’s Chinatown 2 September 2025 TRAVEL RELATED POSTS Advertisement

  • Festival of Stones

SOCIETY by Neha Pande Festival of Stones 27 July 2020 SOCIETY Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement Bagwal also known as DevidhuraFair is celebrated at Maa Varahi Devi Temple in Devidhura located at a distance of 45km from Lohaghat in the Champawat district of Uttarakhand. Devidhura also marks the tri-junction of Almora, Pithoragarh and Nainital districts and is famous for its rich cultural fair that is celebrated with devotion and enthusiasm. This fair is celebrated every year during Rakshabandhan that falls on the full moon day of the month of Shravan. Thousands of people from Uttarakhand and Nepal come to visit this grand fair. Bagwal is celebrated by dividing four different groups, collectively known as ‘Khams’. The four groups are four different tribes – Gharwal Kham, Chamyal Kham, Lamgriha Kham and Valig Kham. The fair starts out with the worship of Goddess Varahi, after the worship Prasad is distributed and this is when everything gets a bit tricky. The members of each Kham position themselves on the four corners of the field of the temple and the priest commences the festival with the sound of the ‘shankh’/shell. Bagwal is no normal festival with just worship and joy but here the Khams are fighters who carry sticks, stones and a farra/shield for the fight. These fighters throw stones at one another while at the same time protecting themselves with the shield. It does not matter how wounded or injured they get, the fight does not stop till the priest concludes the fight with the sound of the ‘shankh’. While the fight is going on the rest of the attendees cheer their teams with fight drums, folk songs and folk dances. After the fight all the injured are treated with ‘bichchu grass’ ie. Urtica Dioca. The Myth behind the Bagwal festival:- According to the myth, there once was a tradition of sacrificing a man (Narbali) from the Kham each year to Goddess Varahi. On one such year, it was the turn of this old woman to sacrifice her grandson, with a heavy heart and mind full of devotion she prepared her grandson for the sacrifice. This touched the Goddess’s heart and she spared his life under the condition that an equal amount of blood should be offered to her. Since that day, Bagwal fair is celebrated by the people where the members of each Kham throw stones at each other in order to draw sacrificial blood for Goddess Varahi. Reason for taking this Cultural Fair :- The main reason I choose to write upon Bagwal cultural fair is because my hometown is in Uttarakhand and I also wanted to address the issue of ‘Bali’/Sacrifice. Sacrificing animals as well as people have been going on in our religion as well as many other religions since the dawn of time; from Mayan, Pagan, Hinduism, Muslim etc. Sacrifice or ‘Bali’ in Hindu religion has its own significance, it is symbolic of getting rid of 6 evil forces/enemies ie. Kama– Lust Krodha – Anger Lobha–Greed Mada– Pride Moha – Attachments Matsarya – Jealousy By the sacrificial festival of Bagwal the basic idea of sacrificing men or animals was stopped yet the sacrificial blood was spilled by the act of fighting and throwing stones at each other. Our culture and heritage is one of the oldest; yet, I wanted to showcase some of the flaws in it which have changed and evolved but are still there. In August 2019, 100 men got injured under 10 minutes while celebrating Bagwal in Champwant district, Uttarakhand on Thursday. Even though the human sacrifice was stopped yet, hundreds of people got injured which is not a small thing. This is just one small case, there are many more cases tied up to this festival. Even though there is a high court ban on the use of stones during the festival yet the locals seem to sneak in with stones while outsmarting the authorities.Even a lot of local authorities encourage this practice instead of putting a stop on it. I personally believe that the concept behind ‘Bali’ is not bad because every Dussehra we burn Ravan as a sign of victory of good over evil, just like that ‘Bali’ is the concept of sacrificing 6 evils to the goddess yet the literal concept of ‘Bali’ ie. To sacrifice a living breathing creature or to injure one another is completely wrong. God didn’t make us to harm each other therefore the literal concept of ‘Bali’ should be condemned just like the literal practice of Bagwal should be put to an end. The ideology, unlike the festival, should carry on and pass on from generation to generation. Bagwal is a beautiful festival from Kumaon, Uttarakhand which should be celebrated with joy and enthusiasm, without harming each other as the concept of Bagwal is beautiful just like the myth. Bagwal is the story of love and sacrifice therefore it should be practiced with love and sacrifice of our inner demons instead of throwing stones towards each other to draw out blood as a symbol. The festival is a perfect blend of folk songs, folk dances and folklores. And just like Bagwal our country has hundreds of festivals and practices with a beautiful story but an unlikely tragic execution. #MohaAttachments #Myth #6evilforcesenemiesie #Devidhurafair #Tribal #Regionalfestival #IndianMyths #Indianfestival #MaaVarahiDeviTemple #Bagwalfestival #MatsaryaJealousy #Champawatdistrict #KrodhaAnger #Shravan #Sacrifice #Culturalfair #Lohaghat #IndianRitual #Uttarakhand #LobhaGreed #MaaVarahi #KamaLust #Rituals #Bali #Khams #MadaPride #Rakshabandhan SEARCH Why India is the most depressed country in the world? • New York Fashion Week Fall Collection

New York Fashion Week Fall Collection by Akash Khatri New York Fashion Week Fall Collection 1 January 2021 FASHION Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement New York Fashion Week is one of the “Big 4” fashion weeks in the world and is held semi-annually each year in February and September. This year all the live shows struggled to follow their conventional path due to pandemics, New York fashion week was no exception either and for months fashion designers struggled to cope with the “new normal” but definitely came up with some amazing collection. As pandemic has changed the trend of fashion to some extent and with most of the people working from home, the New York fashion week showcased the basic yet chic versions of the clothing rather than going all hunky-dory and glittery. The main cause taken up by most of the fashion designers was “Sustainable fashion” that would protect our environment and in times of such crisis like we are in 2020, giving attention to the environment and global warming is essential. One off-putting thing that the New York fashion week missed is to witness a few of the famous designers participating in New York fashion week’s fall collection. Although looking at the brighter side, the absence of few famous and well-known designers created room for the new and younger designers to shine through. Few names that won heart in the New York Fashion Week fall collection of 2020 are: Marc Jacobs: He highlighted more of the basics in an old school way. A-line coats and Mini shift dresses were the major highlights from his collection. Marina Moscone: She is known for her minimalistic styling. However, she surprised everyone in the fall collection and came up with some sexy options for the evening, some suits, and even used leopard prints for gowns. Prabal Gurung: He expressed his New York fall collection as a love letter to the city which deeply is fascinated about fashion and colours. He showcased the love for glamour meticulously via suits to gowns to jackets. Khaite: She presented her collection as a tale of two women from two different worlds which blended so perfectly and did not even urge us to choose a side either. Such diligently worked collection. There were far too many talented designers who gave everyone major fashion goals and showed how fashion would probably look like in the coming year. Hope you guys have taken note of how suits, A-line dresses, and animal prints and evening gowns won heart at the fall collection in New York fashion week and would keep your wardrobe updated accordingly. • Life Changing Trips Everyone Should Experience At Least Once

by Priti Sharma by Priti Sharma Life Changing Trips Everyone Should Experience At Least Once 15 February 2023 TRAVEL Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement A vacation is usually an excellent idea. It's never a terrible thing to switch up your surroundings and put work aside for a few days, no matter where you're going. However bizarre it may sound, becoming bored when on vacation is possible. I'll give you an illustration: You're not taking full benefit of travel if your yearly vacation involves going to the same little beach town every summer, where you stay in the same lodgings and dine at the same eateries. It's good to return to a location that seems familiar, but discovering new things is one of the most delicate parts of traveling. It's a chance to venture beyond your comfort zone and experience sights, sounds, and tastes that are unavailable to you at home. If you're ready to try something different the next time you go OOO, let us give you some ideas. We've put up a list of 11 amazing journeys that everyone should experience at least once in their lifetime. You can cross these off your bucket list when you go on your next journey. 1. Hike in a National Park One of the finest ways to see the natural beauty that can be found right here in the United States is to visit a national park. It's hardly surprising that tourists from all over the world flock to these locations given the abundance of animals, magnificent natural features, and unrivaled stargazing. Make it a point to visit at least one (but ideally many!) of the 63 national parks that are dispersed around the nation during your lifetime. The Grand Canyon, Rocky Mountains, Yellowstone, and Glacier are just a handful of the amazing places that should be on your bucket list. 2. Visit Paris Romance, creativity, fashion, and cuisine. Although Paris sells them throughout the year, the Salon du Chocolat is when they are highlighted. The top chocolatiers, confectioners, and cocoa specialists in the world celebrate unique flavors and innovations every fall. Paris is usually an excellent option because of its iconic architecture, world-class museums, and delectable cuisine, to name a few. It's a city that everyone must see at least once. Visit Paris for the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre; stay for the city's quaint sidewalk cafés, outdoor markets, and stunning parks. 3. Head to a Tropical Beach Nothing screams leisure like sprawling out on a beach with a fruity cocktail in your hand and the crystal blue sea out in front of you. A leisurely trip to the tropics can be exactly what you need if you're used to holidays that are jam-packed with activities. With places like Hawaii, Tahiti, the Maldives, or of countless Caribbean islands, you can't go wrong. 4. Experience an African Safari The experience of viewing lions, giraffes, and elephants in their natural habitats is incomparable to visiting a zoo. One of those once-in-a-lifetime events that you must actually experience is an African safari. You will experience incredible animals and scenery that you won't find anywhere else on the globe while being led by a local expert. Start your vacation in one of the top-rated safari locations, such as Botswana, Kenya, Tanzania, or South Africa. 5. Take a Tour of Italy It is impossible to choose just one Italy location to check off your bucket list because of the country's diverse landscapes and rich history, including Rome, Tuscany, and the sparkling Almafi Coast. The greatest way to experience it is as a complete. Italy's train system, fortunately, makes it simple to travel the whole length of the nation. 6. See the Big Apple Nothing compares to New York City. It serves as the famous backdrop for several films and TV series and serves as a representation of a great deal of American culture. Of course, the Empire State Building, the Statue of Liberty, and the Brooklyn Bridge are all must-see features, but what will make you fall in love with New York is its different neighborhoods, indie eateries, and hidden-gem boutiques. 7. Spot the Northern Lights A little price to pay for some wind and snow is the chance to view the Northern Lights, which involves enduring Arctic conditions. The stunning light show may be seen in places like northern Canada, Alaska, Iceland, Finland, and Norway, despite the fact that the phenomenon is notoriously hard to spot. 8. Road Trip Across the Country Even though flying is frequently the more convenient choice, a road vacation includes travel as a component of the experience. It provides you the chance to eat quickly in quaint rural towns or take photographs at tacky roadside sights en route to your destination. Additionally, you never know when you'll find a fantastic location that wasn't on your schedule. Therefore, inflate your tires, pack the car, and don't forget to bring a tonne of goodies. 9. Visit One of the Seven World Wonders The seven wonders must be included on each traveler's bucket list. Any one of these wonders is certainly worth the trek across the globe; they are among the most amazing human-built buildings ever made. Choose from the Taj Mahal, the Taj Mahal, the Great Wall of China, the Colosseum, Chichén Itzá, Christ the Redeemer, Machu Picchu, and Chichén Itzá. 10. Explore Australia Australia is a place that is genuinely unique. It has famous landmarks like the Great Barrier Reef and the Sydney Opera House, as well as a broad range of animals that are unique to this continent (think kangaroos, koalas, and wallabies). Australia provides an experience for everyone, with everything from humming cities and sandy beaches to deep jungles and alpine summits. 11. Eat Your Way Through Southeast Asia Southeast Asia, which includes nations like Vietnam, Thailand, and the Philippines, is unquestionably a culinary lover's dream. The area offers so many mouthwatering delicacies that it would be hard to sample them all, and it boasts some of the greatest street cuisines on the whole globe. In addition, the region is rather affordable for travel (and very well-liked among backpackers! ), making it possible to see several nations in one journey. What's next on your travel list? With so many places worth traveling to, it can be hard to narrow down your top spots to visit. Sometimes what draws us to a place are the well-known sights, delectable cuisine, and luxurious hotels, and other times it's the bragging rights that come with seeing every continent, nation, or state. Whatever your reason, we've compiled a list of 11 extraordinary journeys that include once-in-a-lifetime encounters and renowned sites that are unique to each location. What then qualifies a vacation as really transformative? One thing is certain, though: After reading this list of iconic road trips and African safaris, you'll be itching to start planning your next big journey. • From Blair To Bloomingdale's: The Prep Revival We're Living For

From Blair To Bloomingdale's: The Prep Revival We're Living For By Ananya Patankar From Blair To Bloomingdale's: The Prep Revival We're Living For 18 July 2025 FASHION Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement With spring’s arrival comes a renewed craving for crisp silhouettes and fresh palettes. The preppy aesthetic: clean, classic, and cleverly composed, makes its elegant return, redefined for the women who walk the line between heritage and modernity Preppy style has always whispered rather than shouted. This season, it speaks with a clearer, more expressive tone. Think ballet flats in powder pink, glossy Mary Janes with sculptural buckles, and pearl-dusted headbands that nod to Blair Waldorf—but without the drama. Bloomingdale’s edit captures this evolution with quiet confidence: timeless pieces styled for modern moments. Preppy is having a moment—and not in the way you remember it. Gone are the rigid polos and rule-bound uniforms of school corridors past. In their place: a new kind of polish, softened by sunlight and worn with the ease of a knowing smile. The Spring edit at Bloomingdale’s embraces this redefinition with quiet confidence—curating pieces that echo the icons of prep without mimicking them. There’s the Upper East Side poise of Blair Waldorf in a croc-embossed headband and sharp box-pleated mini. The understated cool of Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy in her rounded shades and hairband. There’s Clueless-era Cher Horowitz in her tweed cardigans and matching Mary Janes, her charm disarming, her tailoring impeccable. And of course, there’s the boyish charm of Ali MacGraw in Love Story—camel coats, collegiate knits, and just a touch of deliberate dishevelment. Bloomingdale’s channels these influences not as costume, but as conversation: houndstooth trenches softened with silk scarves; prim skirts paired with oversized oxfords; ballet flats done in patent blush with unexpected square toes. It’s preppy, yes—but airier, dreamier, and unmistakably now. The season calls for clarity. For charm. For the kind of dressed-up restraint that doesn’t beg attention, but earns it with every refined detail. And for that, Bloomingdale’s delivers with studied elegance. • From Alexandria To Dubai: The Inspiring Journey Of Mennatallah Ali

By Anushka Sharma By Anushka Sharma From Alexandria To Dubai: The Inspiring Journey Of Mennatallah Ali 14 August 2024 BEAUTY Advertisement Advertisement Mennatallah Ali’s story is one of passion, perseverance, and a deep love for beauty and fashion. Originating from the bustling coastal city of Alexandria, Egypt, Mennatallah's journey into the world of beauty began at a young age. She was enamored with fashion, beauty, and skincare, which laid the foundation for her future endeavors. Her early foray into the beauty industry saw her working as a makeup model. However, she soon realized the inconsistency in professional makeup services and took it upon herself to master the craft. After completing a makeup course, she began doing her own professional makeup, showcasing her skills and personal style. The turning point in her journey came when she moved to the UAE. Initially, she took a break from her passion but soon recognized the plethora of opportunities in Dubai, a city known for its dynamic and diverse culture. Encouraged by the vibrant environment, she ventured into covering events, reviewing products, and collaborating with beauty shops. Although her initial efforts were intermittent, Mennatallah resolved to pursue her passion full-time, aiming to make a significant mark in the influencing and blogging world. Mennatallah speaks highly of the fashion and beauty culture in the Middle East, particularly in Alexandria, where trends ignite quickly and spread like wildfire. She credits the region’s rich tradition in fashion for her inspiration, mentioning renowned designers like Hani Al-Bahiri, who are well-known for their exquisite bridal gowns. Living in Dubai has most definitely offered Mennatallah a unique advantage. Unlike the conservative nature of Egypt, Dubai's openness and diversity provide her with the freedom to explore and express her creativity. This freedom, she believes, is a significant factor in her growth as an influencer . The influencer industry in Dubai, she notes, is vibrant yet seasonal, with different times of the year bringing varying levels of activity based on religious and cultural festivals. Mennatallah’s love for Indian cinema is another interesting facet of her personality. A devoted fan of Bollywood, she fondly recalls skipping school to watch movies and can name films just by their scripts. Her admiration for actors like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Hrithik Roshan adds a touch of global culture to her local Egyptian and Emirati experiences. Looking ahead, Mennatallah is heavily focused on expanding her influence in the Gulf region. She plans to take courses to understand social media algorithms better and aims to grow her follower base significantly. Her ultimate goal is to establish a strong presence in the UAE before potentially returning to the competitive market in Egypt with a well-established profile. Mennatallah's journey from beauty to fashion is a testament to her dedication and resilience. Her story is not just about personal success but also about the broader narrative of pursuing one's passion in a rapidly changing world. As she continues to evolve and make her mark, Mennatallah Ali stands as an inspiring figure for aspiring influencers and content creators everywhere. • Dibba Studio: Weaving The Future Of Fashion At Thailand Fashion Week AW25-26

Dibba Studio: Weaving The Future Of Fashion At Thailand Fashion Week AW25-26 By Shriniwas Kodape Dibba Studio: Weaving The Future Of Fashion At Thailand Fashion Week AW25-26 2 September 2025 FASHION Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement The night was heavy with anticipation, the kind that hums beneath the skin before a story begins. The chandeliers above glowed like constellations suspended in velvet darkness, and the murmurs of the audience rose and fell like a tide against the shore. Then the music swelled, low at first, almost imperceptible, and the runway came alive. A figure emerged from the shadows, draped in fabric that caught the light like a secret being revealed. In that moment, silence fell, and DIBBA Studio began to write its chapter at Thailand Fashion Week AW25/26 . What unfolded was not a mere display of garments but the telling of a story. DIBBA Studio has always carried the reputation of a brand unafraid of innovation, but this collection transformed that ethos into something much deeper. Each look became a sentence, each fabric a metaphor, each silhouette a carefully chosen word. The runway was their page, the models their narrators, and the tale was one of identity, transformation, and artistry at its most distilled. The collection leaned into contrasts, weaving the past into the present, precision into fluidity, stillness into movement. Jackets cut with sharp edges softened into cascading hems. Drapes suggested tradition yet refused to remain confined within it, dissolving instead into gestures of contemporary rebellion. The designs seemed to speak to heritage without echoing it too literally, translating memory into a language meant for now. Textures played the role of punctuation. Heavy wool stood solid, cotton carried the warmth of familiarity, while gauzy layers slipped through the air like whispers. One could almost imagine the sensation of fabric against skin, the steady weight of a structured shoulder, the fleeting coolness of silk as it brushed against light. The tactile story was as vivid as the visual one, reminding everyone that clothing is an experience, not just an image. Movement deepened the narrative. With each step, garments shifted their meanings. An oversized coat that at first appeared austere softened into unexpected gentleness, angular lines collapsed into liquid ease, rigid outlines dissolved into forms that seemed to breathe. Fashion here was not frozen in presentation; it lived, altered, adapted, like a character revealing new facets as the plot unfolded. The palette carried the emotional arc of the tale. Earth tones such as ochres, greens, and browns offered grounding, as though rooting the collection in the soil of memory. Then came flashes of surprise: a lining of crimson like a pulse of hidden passion, silver threads that glimmered like moonlight, indigo breaking through the muted tones with quiet brilliance. These choices were not decorative but revelatory, moments of sudden clarity embedded within the flow of the story. What struck most was the restraint. DIBBA Studio did not need extravagance to command attention. Every detail seemed deliberate, each garment confident in its simplicity. There was no reaching for spectacle, no unnecessary flourish, only the assurance of a voice that knew its strength. Even the styling of the models reflected this clarity. Sleek hair, understated makeup, and an aura of authenticity emphasized the garments rather than overshadowed them. They moved not as mannequins but as people, carrying the designs into the realm of lived reality. Beneath the spectacle, the collection posed deeper reflections. Fashion is always about more than fabric; it is about identity, about the tension between what we inherit and what we become. DIBBA Studio seemed to ask: how do we honor the past while stepping into the future? How do we carry roots without being bound by them? In a time when the industry wrestles with sustainability, cultural representation, and the place of technology, this collection offered a quiet answer. Progress does not demand erasure, and innovation shines brightest when grown from tradition. As the final model disappeared into the darkness and the applause broke free, the audience was left not with fleeting admiration but with a lingering sensation. This was fashion that lived beyond the runway. It was art, philosophy, narrative, woven into fabric and carried forward in memory. DIBBA Studio’s AW25/26 showcase was not content with being seen; it demanded to be felt. In the end, what unfolded was more than a fashion show. It was an experience, a reminder that clothing is never just about what we wear but about the stories we choose to tell through it. And in that story, DIBBA Studio has carved a chapter that will not fade easily, a chapter that threads itself into the future with poise, confidence, and quiet brilliance. • The Rise Of Nisha Ahuja: Balancing Passion And Profession

The Rise Of Nisha Ahuja: Balancing Passion And Profession By Anushka Sharma The Rise Of Nisha Ahuja: Balancing Passion And Profession 14 August 2024 FASHION Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement In the ever-evolving landscape of content creation, Nisha Ahuja is emerging as a standout figure whose journey is as inspiring as it is remarkable. Combining a deep-rooted passion for fashion with a methodical approach to content creation, Nisha's ascent to prominence reflects both dedication and strategic foresight. Nisha’s journey began with a simple but profound love for fashion. "I always had a passion for fashion and creating content," she shares. Her venture into the world of content creation was spontaneous yet purposeful. "One day, I just started making Reels. The whole motive was just about my passion for fashion ," she reflects, highlighting the organic nature of her beginnings. A significant breakthrough came just a month into her content creation journey when she secured a contract with Myntra, a leading fashion e-commerce platform. "Myntra actually signed a contract with me for a year," Nisha recounts. This pivotal moment transformed her from an enthusiastic creator posting casually to a structured influencer with a well-planned content calendar. Despite the glamour of brand collaborations, Nisha remains grounded, attributing her success to her genuine enjoyment of the content creation process. "I really loved and enjoyed the process. That’s why I’m still continuing my 9 to 5 and content creation," she explains. Her ability to juggle a stable job with her creative pursuits is a testament to her dedication and exceptional time management skills. Nisha’s insights into the evolving dynamics of content creation offer valuable lessons for aspiring influencers . She sheds light on the barter deals that often characterize early stages in the industry. "They used to give me a voucher of 10k to shop and create content. It wasn’t money, but for fashion people, clothes were a big deal," she notes. However, as creators build their communities and prove their value, she emphasizes the importance of transitioning to fair compensation. "Once you’ve built a community and can provide brands with value, creators deserve to be paid. Nothing comes for free." Balancing a corporate career with content creation is no small feat, and Nisha's approach is both practical and inspiring. "If you have responsibilities and need stable income, a job is essential. But if you're passionate, you should explore content creation as a career option," she advises. Her ability to excel in both realms underscores her organizational prowess and passion for her work. The content creation industry is rife with opportunities, and Nisha is optimistic about its future. She encourages greater inclusivity, noting, "There are a lot of opportunities for everyone," and urges more men to explore this field. Yet, she also cautions against the pitfalls of relying solely on barter collaborations, advocating for a shift towards paid engagements as creators gain experience. Nisha's success is highlighted by a viral reel that amassed 16 million views, a testament to her relatable and engaging content. "It’s a lovely feeling, but it attracts a lot of attention, not all of it positive. Still, the recognition from brands is invaluable," she reflects, demonstrating her resilience amidst the challenges of fame. In addition to fashion, Nisha delves into lifestyle and food content, showcasing her versatility and creative spirit. Her talent for transforming thrifted pieces into fashionable outfits resonates with her audience, reflecting her ability to push creative boundaries. Inspired by creators like Komal Pandey, Nisha continues to experiment and innovate within the fashion space. To combat creative burnout, Nisha advocates for regular breaks and reconnecting with nature. "Timely breaks are important. I do yoga and listen to Sadhguru’s videos to recharge myself," she shares. Her approach to maintaining a healthy work-life balance is crucial in the fast-paced world of social media. As Nisha navigates her engagement and family responsibilities, she appreciates the multifaceted role of managing both personal and professional aspects of life. "It's a task, but I really appreciate girls who are managing families and content creation. It's like your own little business, and you're working 24x7," she says, acknowledging the dedication required to balance these roles. Looking forward, Nisha envisions a future filled with opportunities and accolades. "I want to be seen and appreciated for my content. I see myself working with big brands and designers, doing fashion shows, and receiving awards," she concludes, underscoring her entrepreneurial spirit and relentless drive. Nisha Ahuja’s journey exemplifies how passion, hard work, and resilience can lead to extraordinary success. As the content creation industry continues to evolve, her story serves as a powerful reminder of what can be achieved with dedication and a clear vision.
