- Four Seasons Bangkok: Where The River Holds Its Breath
By Shriniwas Kodape TRAVEL Four Seasons Bangkok: Where The River Holds Its Breath By Shriniwas Kodape 17 September 2025 Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement I’ve stayed in enough hotels to recognise when a place has nothing to prove. Four Seasons Bangkok is one of them. From the moment you step off the riverfront promenade into its courtyard, there’s a quiet assurance in the way it carries itself. No need for dramatic declarations or ornamental excess, just an effortless elegance that flows through every inch of the property. The Chao Phraya rolls by at its own unhurried pace, and the Four Seasons seems to take its cue from the water. There’s space here, not just in the architecture, but in the way it lets you breathe. The lobby is an embrace of warm light, polished stone, and subtle floral arrangements that feel placed for your eyes only. Every sightline is deliberate, every surface carrying the kind of texture that makes you want to run your hand across it. Rooms here aren’t just designed; they’re staged for living. Floor-to-ceiling windows pull the river inside, letting the daylight change the mood hour by hour. The materials are rich without being loud: soft fabrics, clean lines, and a colour palette that calms more than it commands. The bed seems built for slow mornings, and the kind of sleep that feels like a reset button. The dining, though, is where Four Seasons Bangkok truly leans into its personality. Food here is never an afterthought. Each restaurant has its own voice, its own rhythm, yet they all share an attention to craft that cannot be faked. Yu Ting Yuan, the hotel’s signature Michelin-recognized Cantonese restaurant, is a performance in precision with flavours layered with intention, each plate a study in restraint and detail. Riva del Fiume Ristorante brings an Italian sensibility to the riverfront, sunlit and relaxed, while Palmier by Guillaume Galliot offers French coastal charm with a contemporary edge. Even breakfast carries that quiet indulgence, turning the first meal of the day into an occasion worth lingering over. Service moves like good jazz, fluid, responsive, never out of tune. Staff seem to appear exactly when you need them, and vanish just as seamlessly. It is this rhythm that makes the stay feel less like being managed and more like being understood. And then there is the pool: long, linear, set against the river with just enough separation to make you feel part of the city without being swallowed by it. By day, it is a place to drift; by night, it becomes a reflective strip of light, mirroring the Bangkok skyline. Four Seasons Bangkok doesn’t chase your attention. It earns it. Not with noise or spectacle, but with an unwavering sense of place, a property that knows exactly what it is and delivers on it without hesitation. Here, the river holds its breath, and so do you, if only for a moment, before stepping back into the pulse of the city. - 64 Floors Up: Lebua At State Tower Perspective
By Shriniwas Kodape TRAVEL 64 Floors Up: Lebua At State Tower Perspective By Shriniwas Kodape 4 October 2025 Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement Bangkok is a city that rarely lowers its voice. It moves fast, runs hot, and hums from the minute you land. But at Lebua at State Tower , the noise slips away. You rise above it, literally, and suddenly the city isn’t pressing in on you anymore. It’s laid out like a map, lights stretching to the horizon. The gold dome is already part of the skyline’s vocabulary. From street level it feels like a landmark; from the inside, it’s a threshold. Step past the doors and the chaos outside is replaced with marble, quiet air, and the faint sound of your own footsteps. They’re high-rise apartments in the sky, elevated sanctuaries with distinct living areas and expansive bathrooms designed for indulgence. The Chao Phraya shimmers far below, boats leaving thin trails of light as the skyline flickers and bends with the humidity. You can stand there for an hour and still feel like you’ve only just arrived. Still, most people don’t only come to lebua for the suites. They come to the rooftop. Sirocco with its Mediterranean plates and river views. Sky Bar, where cocktails glow in neon and the wind brushes past you like a reminder that you’re 64 floors up. Mezzaluna, two Michelin stars under the dome. Breeze, with its illuminated staircase pulling you toward the open air. Each one feels like a stage, each one delivers a performance. Service is attentive in the way you hope for but rarely get. Staff remember details. They anticipate. At peak sunset hours, the rooftop can feel crowded, tourists chasing the same view you came for, but the staff move with pace and the mood never drops. The suites embody a refined sense of classic luxury, their design offering a serene counterbalance to the dazzling vibrance of the rooftop experience. Space remains the quiet luxury here. Rooms this big, this high up, in the middle of Bangkok are rare. The pool and gym exist, but they’re not the headline. The real luxury is your own balcony in the early morning, coffee in hand, watching the river catch the light while the city slowly wakes up below. Lebua at State Tower stands boldly as an icon, fully aware of its stature and embracing it with effortless grandeur. There’s glamour, there’s spectacle, and there’s always the sense that you’re playing a small role in something larger. But if you want to see Bangkok without being in the middle of it, if you want to trade the city’s heat for altitude and space, this is where you do it. Verdict: Come for the rooftop, stay for the balcony. - Francesca Bellettini Ushers In Gucci’s New Dawn
Francesca Bellettini Ushers In Gucci’s New Dawn By Sakshi Shah Francesca Bellettini Ushers In Gucci’s New Dawn 19 September 2025 FASHION Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement The September sun had barely risen over Florence when whispers began to ripple through the industry: Francesca Bellettini would be the new President and Chief Executive Officer of Gucci . It felt less like an announcement and more like the unveiling of a destiny, a return written years ago but revealed only now. Gucci, a house that has always blurred the line between heritage and revolution, had found its new storyteller, a woman whose path was carved not through sketches and fabrics, but through strategy, vision, and the quiet assurance of someone who knows how to turn possibility into permanence. Her story does not begin with fashion’s glittering runways but in London’s financial heart, where young Bellettini pored over numbers, forecasts, and balance sheets. It was a world of hard lines and clear logic, yet within it she discovered her own artistry: the ability to read hidden rhythms in the data, to sense opportunity where others saw risk. That discipline would later become her secret strength in an industry that thrives on the tension between dreams and reality. From Prada to Helmut Lang, her path wound steadily into the world of luxury, and in 2003 she arrived at Gucci, a young strategist entrusted with shaping merchandising and long-term vision. The arc of her career is almost cinematic. From Gucci to Bottega Veneta, and then to Saint Laurent, where she orchestrated one of the most remarkable transformations in modern fashion, Bellettini proved that leadership is not about controlling creativity but about framing it so it shines brighter. At Saint Laurent , revenues soared, yet the house never lost its edge, proof of her ability to nurture artistry while anchoring it in business clarity. There was nothing flamboyant about her leadership style. Instead, colleagues described her as precise, observant, and deeply human. She was the kind of leader who listened intently, who allowed creative visionaries the space to dream, while building frameworks that ensured those dreams could live beyond the runway. At Saint Laurent, this delicate alchemy between imagination and execution became her signature, and it is this same touch that now makes her return to Gucci feel almost poetic. Gucci is more than a fashion brand; it is a cultural mirror, reflecting desires, rebellions, and ideals of every era it passes through. From Tom Ford’s provocative sensuality to Alessandro Michele’s kaleidoscopic maximalism, Gucci has never stood still. Each reinvention became not just a collection but a zeitgeist, a movement. Yet in 2025, with consumers hungering for authenticity, sustainability, and meaning beyond logos, Gucci must find its new rhythm. Bellettini steps into this moment not as a disruptor crashing through the door, but as a custodian with vision, someone who knows how to protect legacy while charting new frontiers. Her words upon stepping into the role carried both reverence and ambition: an honor to guide one of the world’s most iconic houses, excitement to collaborate with Kering CEO Luca de Meo, and admiration for Demna’s fearless creativity. The balance of humility and resolve in her voice reflects a philosophy she has carried throughout her career that leadership is not domination but stewardship, a responsibility to nurture what already exists while daring to create what does not. This partnership with Demna is one the industry watches with intrigue. His avant-garde boldness has redefined Balenciaga, and now, under Bellettini’s guidance, his daring will find a new canvas at Gucci. The dialogue between his creativity and her clarity has the potential to redraw the contours of luxury. It is not about taming vision but grounding it, ensuring it resonates with a global audience while remaining undeniably Gucci. What makes this chapter compelling is that Bellettini does not see luxury as mere commerce. For her, it is culture, intimacy, and resonance. It is the way a bag becomes an heirloom, the way a show lingers in memory long after the lights dim. Her leadership suggests Gucci’s future will not simply be measured in profit margins but in its ability to spark wonder, to create belonging, and to shape moments that feel timeless. The appointment is both the culmination and beginning. A woman who once walked the corridors of Gucci as a strategist now returns as its leader, carrying decades of wisdom and a reputation forged in resilience. Gucci’s story has always been about transformation, about daring to reinvent itself while never losing sight of its soul. Under Francesca Bellettini, that story enters a new act, one that promises elegance without complacency, daring without dissonance. The lights are on, the stage is set, and history waits to be written. Gucci has chosen its narrator, and the world is ready to listen. - Meet Ishmeet Kaur, The Winner of Mrs. India World 2024
Meet Ishmeet Kaur, The Winner of Mrs. India World 2024 By Sakshi Batra Meet Ishmeet Kaur, The Winner of Mrs. India World 2024 17 December 2024 FASHION Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement Journey of Ishmeet Kaur Ishmeet Kaur - Mrs. India World 2024, For me it was not only a journey of determination, passion and self-belief but also a heart full of gratitude. From a childhood rooted in love and support to challenging societal norms, my journey to becoming Mrs. India World goes beyond the crown. It’s a celebration of inner strength, resilience, and the belief that true beauty comes from within. “I’m not just taking away cherished memories with my sister queens, but also the title that has shaped my journey”. “These 7 days have been more than just an experience, they have been a journey of growth, friendship and empowerment, rather than a competition”. "The lessons learned, the bonds formed, and the unforgettable moments will forever remain with me, serving as a constant reminder of the strength and beauty we all hold within." Source of Inspiration When asked about my biggest source of support, “I credit my mother as my guiding light from being my constant support through thick and thin whenever I felt like giving up, she became my strength and reminded me to keep chasing my dreams until I achieve them”. With her unwavering support, I am who I am today. Her guidance helped me overcome every hurdle that came my way. The crown I wear is not merely a symbol of victory—it embodies my hard work, passion, and self-belief. I didn’t just chase my dreams, I lived them. On the other hand, I often see parents not supporting their child's career choices. To them, my advice is simple: “Never give up on your dreams”. Stay true to your passion and trust your journey. If you remain authentic to yourself and your aspirations, then sky’s the limit. "If you follow your heart with determination, success will undoubtedly find its way to you." The best part of my journey has been the unwavering support of not just my mother, but my entire family and my partner, who stood as my pillars of strength in achieving my dreams. Their only advice to me was simple yet profound: stay true to who you are, and always remain humble and grounded with your fellow contestants. “They mentioned that true beauty comes within and that should reflect through my actions”. The Changing Phase of Pageantry I believe that the world has been undergoing a shift, moving away from the traditional beliefs and stereotypical norms, the days are gone when beauty pageants were just about perfect figures and dazzling smiles but in today’s scenario women with different body shapes and sizes are respected and are being welcomed “Today, the pageants celebrate authenticity and individuality” and the focus has also expanded to inner beauty, confidence, intelligence & social awareness rather than just physical appearance. These days “pageants are embracing diversity in terms of ethnicities, backgrounds, age, sexuality and gender identity”. Pageants now place more emphasis on contestants' intelligence, social awareness and community involvement. Winners are often expected to be role models and advocates for social causes”. This shift reflects a broader, more inclusive vision of beauty. However, the path to success is never easy. “Indian women face many societal restrictions, making it hard to build a career, they must navigate countless obstacles and negotiate at every step to overcome the challenges in their path”. But by participating in Mrs. India World, I feel I have broken stereotypes and shown that no dream is impossible, regardless of marital status. Life Lessons Among the many rounds in the pageant, “My favourite was the personal interview round”. It was a truly special moment that I will cherish for a lifetime, as it gave me the opportunity to connect with each judge one-on-one. “Their humility and inspiring guidance left a lasting impression on me”. Power of confidence & Self-belief What sets me apart from others is not beauty with brains, it was my bolstering confidence, determination and self-belief that got me here and stood me out from everyone else. “I would suggest everyone to follow their heart and not give heat to negative perspectives”. I can't deny that there were moments when I wanted to take a break, do nothing, and just relax. But then I had a self-realisation “I was fortunate enough to be selected among so many talented and brilliant women”. It was a golden opportunity that I couldn’t afford to miss, especially with my dreams so close to being realised. This deep realisation pushed me to stay focused and true to my passion. “It reignited the fire in me to work hard and pursue my dreams with full dedication and honesty”. Favourite Cuisine Even the strict dieters have cravings and for me, it’s Chinese food. "If I had to choose a cheat meal, it would definitely be my favourite Chinese dishes - I just can’t resist them!" Celebrating Talent & Creativity I would be incredibly proud to judge the pageant, and if given the opportunity to create my own round, “I would choose a talent round where all participants could showcase their unique abilities”. Whether it’s singing, dancing, poetry, drama, or any other talent, this round would offer each contestant the chance to express their creativity and passion. “I believe it would provide them with an opportunity to truly shine in something they love, creating a beautiful, personal, and inspiring experience." Redefining Success Ishmeet’s journey is a powerful reminder that success is not just about achievements, but about breaking barriers and staying true to oneself. "Dreams take effort, and sometimes they need a push," but the beauty of the journey lies in overcoming challenges and letting your inner light shine. Her story teaches us that beauty is not just about appearances; it’s about strength, resilience, and the courage to dream big. Ishmeet is living proof that with determination and belief, no dream is ever too far out of reach. - Palm Islands
by Akash Khatri TRAVEL Palm Islands by Akash Khatri 1 October 2020 Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement One of the country’s most prominent project ever, Dubai’s palm Islands, developed by Nakheel, are the eighth wonder of the world! These man made islands are designed in a palm tree shape and thus got their name from it. The distinctiveness and interesting history behind it grabs the tourist attraction here. One of the most visited destination in Dubai has been admired since long. There are three islands that altogether makes Palm Island, including Palm Jumeirah, Palm Jebel Ali, Palm Deira. Deira is the largest one. Palm Jumeirah It is the only one open to visitors and is also famous for the grand looking hotel, Burj Al Arab. There are residential properties inside Jumeirah too where celebrities or richer people reside in. It was built in the early 21st century and first residents in the buildings arrived in 2007. In the second decade 10,000 people were residing in Jumeirah. It was financed from Dubai’s substantial income from petroleum. Palm Jebel Ali It was the most significant among the three islands when built. It was so large that more than 250,000 people were expected to live there. But it’s an abandoned island as of now because of the deficit economic situation in Dubai. Nakheel has confirmed that it won’t be put to a stop. It’ll continue at some point of time for sure. Palm Deira Deira is the largest of all the islands with an area greater than Paris! It’s been under construction due to the same reason mentioned. When it’ll be completed, The island will consist of residential property, marinas, shopping malls, sports facilities, clubs, and hospitality offerings. It’s a spectacular with all the luxury and unrealistic units. The idea of building these islands was to fascinate more tourists. That’s why it has everything that a visitor looks for. World-class hotels, entertainment centres, spas and health centres, marinas, water parks, residential villas, shopping malls, cinema multiplexes, diving sites and what not. Beach lovers can’t resist visiting here. People can see the palm shape up close and it looks surreal. One look at it’s structure, which is covered with beachfront hotels from major brands like Atlantis, St. Regis, Sofitel, Langham, W, and Waldorf-Astoria makes it understandable why Dubai is the fourth-most visited place in the world. This engineering project is just as imaginable as it sounds. The project of Palm Jumeirah cost $12 billion which today is the native to 1,500 beachfront mansions with a 6,000 apartments on its trunk. Also 12,000 palm trees were planted in there. These amazing facts about the place makes it more appealing, enchanting and worthwhile. #holidaydestination #Dubai #trip #wanderlust #beaches #travelling #beautifulplaces #islands SEARCH The Fashion Capitals Of Asia: Exploring Style Beyond Borders TRAVEL Unveiling Delights Of Hotel Palazzo Versace Gem Of Dubai TRAVEL 7 Abandoned Cities In India And Abroad That Are Too Beautiful To Be Forgotten TRAVEL airBaltic Makes Global Debut On World’s Safest Airlines List TRAVEL Revolutionizing Air Travel: Qatar Airways Introduces AI-Powered Booking With Sama TRAVEL POPULAR POSTS Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement By Shriniwas Kodape The Peninsula Bangkok: Grace Beside The Chao Phraya 4 October 2025 TRAVEL By Shriniwas Kodape 64 Floors Up: Lebua At State Tower Perspective 4 October 2025 TRAVEL By Shriniwas Kodape Four Seasons Bangkok: Where The River Holds Its Breath 17 September 2025 TRAVEL By Shriniwas Kodape Neon, Smoke, And Chili Fire: A Night In Bangkok’s Chinatown 2 September 2025 TRAVEL RELATED POSTS Advertisement
- Omega Aqua Terra 30 MM: My Little Secret, Yours To Discover
Omega Aqua Terra 30 MM: My Little Secret, Yours To Discover By Ananya Patankar Omega Aqua Terra 30 MM: My Little Secret, Yours To Discover 28 July 2025 FASHION Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement Meet the Seamaster’s softest strength. Engineered in gold and grace, Omega’s new Seamaster Aqua Terra brings legacy, femininity, and innovation into a singular form. A luxurious whisper, a concealed spark, a treasure hidden in plain sight. With the grace of a secret slipping from lips, Omega introduces its most intimate horological evolution yet. My Little Secret is more than a campaign, it's an invitation into intimacy. And its muse? The new Omega Aqua Terra 30 mm . Slimmer, sleeker, and exuding quiet strength, the Aqua Terra 30 mm is a timepiece that doesn’t shout but rather suggests. Its appeal is subtle yet irresistible, like the brush of silk against skin or the last note of a beloved song. This is Omega’s answer to the modern woman’s desire: beauty that exudes without having to announce. Since 1902, Omega has set the gold standard in women’s timekeeping—blending mechanical mastery with artistry across iconic designs like the Ladymatic , Constellation , and Seamaster . With the Aqua Terra collection’s 30 mm debut, the maison introduces a new scale, one that redefines elegance for today’s world without sacrificing performance. With its 30 mm silhouette, Omega re-imagines versatility through a lens of subtle elegance and undeniable luxury. The 30 mm case opens a new dimension for Omega’s most versatile collection, gracefully balancing everyday wear-ability with unapologetic luxury. The collection unfurls like a private diary—twelve distinct timepieces, each revealing a different nuance of personality. There are the classics in brushed stainless steel, five in total, with polished link bracelets that shimmer like sunlight on water. Then, there’s the opulence: models in 18K Sedna Gold and 18K Moonshine Gold , glowing with warmth and complexity. For those who live between worlds, Omega offers graceful two-tone combinations that blend steel and gold in perfect harmony. At the heart of each piece is a radiant dial, framed in symmetry, marked by applied hour markers, and grounded by a discreet date window at 6 o’clock. Flip the watch, and the transparent sapphire crystal caseback reveals the real secret, Omega’s finest miniature engine to date. When it comes to the heartbeat of the watch, Raynald Aeschlimann, Omega’s President and CEO, puts it best: “The most beautiful part of the watch is the one you cannot immediately see.” Beneath the dial lies the Calibre 8750 (for stainless steel and two-tone models) or the Calibre 8751 (for Sedna and Moonshine Gold) both newly engineered for this intimately scaled case. It’s a technical triumph, conceived not just to fit but to elevate the smaller silhouette. Each movement carries the Master Chronometer certification, the pinnacle of precision, magnetism resistance, and durability. These calibres offer self-winding performance in both directions, enhanced by the Co-Axial escapement and silicon balance spring. They hold more than 48 hours of power reserve, enough for long weekends and last-minute escapes. It’s craftsmanship so refined, so hidden, you almost forget it’s there. But isn’t that the very definition of luxury? Much like a secret, the Aqua Terra 30 mm isn’t about making statements, it’s about confidence. The bracelets are engineered for seamless integration, sculpted in brushed and polished finishes, secured with Omega’s patented screw-and-pin system, and closed with a butterfly clasp that adjusts for effortless comfort. Every element, from the dial proportions to the feel on the wrist, speaks to the idea of ease, of elegance that doesn’t try too hard, of a luxury that’s lived in, not put on. To celebrate this release, Omega enlisted six luminaries , redefining modern femininity from across music, film, and fashion, each embodying the campaign’s sensibility: personal, expressive, quietly powerful. Among who are Ashley Graham , Tems , Ariana DeBose , Marisa Abela , Danielle Marsh , and Sunday Rose Kidman Urban . Their testimonials are intimate and disarming. Tems calls her watch “a layering essential.” Graham insists “it will never come off.” Ariana DeBose says it simply: “The ultimate secret is to wear it with joy.” In a rhythmic campaign film, the watch passes hand to hand like a shared confidence, underscoring the irresistible urge to reveal beauty, eventually. Omega suggests, this isn’t just another watch. It’s a secret you wear. A symbol of quiet rebellion against the overt and overstated. The Omega Aqua Terra 30 mm doesn’t seek the spotlight, it becomes it. For the woman who finds power in her own rhythm, elegance in her own way, and joy in things not everyone can see, this is your little secret . And perhaps, it’s time to let it slip. by Yashi Srivastava TRAVEL What The World Can Learn From Sustainable Tourism In Kerala by Yashi Srivastava 24 February 2023 Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement Kerala, God’s Own Country, is full of magic. So, what can we learn about sustainable tourism in Kerala? If you want to know, continue reading this article. The Responsible Tourism Mission Kerala is the first state of India to launch an idea related to responsible tourism - the responsible tourism mission , which tends to focus not just on the travelers who visit Kerala, but also takes care of the needs of the locals who live in the state. Most tourists only want to make their state better for the tourists. They would cut beautiful jungles to make space for more concrete and would even ignore the local people and their ideas regarding the expansion of tourists’ demands. With Kerala’s Responsible Tourism Mission, the change has already begun. Under this project, the focus is laid on issues like eradication of local poverty, developing villages and local communities as well as finding means to empower local women - you see, the keyword here is local. Under this Mission, several projects related to culture, village-life, economic, and social experiences in Kerala have been successfully launched and completed. Vocational training to local entrepreneurs and artisans integrate with tourism Several entrepreneurs and talented artists are trained under Kerala’s RT Mission to develop their skills and work with the tourism department to sell their products to the tourists or hotels, etc. The eco-friendly cloth bags have thus replaced plastic bags, along with many conscious products being introduced to the local homestays, hotels, and other market linkages. The opportunity thus, also provides a means of livelihood to the artists and micropreneurs. Bringing back the forgotten art forms of the state The state and its organizations have introduced several travel or art packages that allow tourists to get up and close with the timeless art forms of the state. However, the art forms aren’t limited to dance, music, or performing. It also includes packages to experience the grand festivals of the country, how the local artists live, and even, the history of the arts of Kerala. Accommodations with plastic-free zones and more The local homestays, even those that offer luxury stays, are conscious about the detrimental effects of the environment on nature. So, properties like Spice Village in Thekkady runs on 70% solar energy and doesn’t allow even percent of plastic use within its premises. The place also collects rainwater and recycles paper waste, and uses their own water bottles, among other conscious decisions. There is a vegan homestay in the state as well - the first of its kind in the country, where of course, the food is completely plant-based and thus, supports low carbon emission . The property collects rainwater and features compost toilets and home-made vegan food, all their profits go to a charity that improves welfare of stray animals. - Journeying Through Fashion And Self - Expression With Paranosh Irani
Journeying Through Fashion And Self - Expression With Paranosh Irani by Akshra Khandelwal Journeying Through Fashion And Self - Expression With Paranosh Irani 27 August 2023 FASHION Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement "Fashion is a variable, while style is a constant. Style expresses who I am in my way!" - These words resonate deeply with the vibrant soul that is Paranosh Irani. From the colourful realms of Instagram to the poised corridors of the fashion world, Paranosh has carved a niche uniquely hers. In an exclusive interview with our magazine, she unveils her journey, her inspirations, and the philosophy that drives her. With a radiant smile that mirrors her effervescent personality, Paranosh Irani delves into her roots, giving us a glimpse of her evolution as a digital content creator and social media influencer. "Who is Paranosh Irani?" she muses as if teasing us to embark on a journey of discovery. A journey began on Instagram, where she found her voice through a quirky-edgy take on Fashion, offering honest reviews and invaluable tips on skincare and makeup. Her audience is not just followers; they are comrades, fellow Unicorn enthusiasts who understand her affinity for the mythical creature that represents her spirit – unique, magical, and full of dreams. The sparkle in her eyes intensifies as she shares her thoughts on Fashion and style. "Fashion is a variable, while style is a constant," she asserts. To her, style is the canvas on which she paints her individuality. It's not about following trends but creating a tapestry of self-expression. A style icon in her own right, Paranosh draws inspiration from Iris Apfel, a nonagenarian fashion maven. The connection between the two might not be obvious at first glance, but the audacity to be oneself, no matter the age, forms the bridge between their worlds. As she traces her journey, it's evident that the path wasn't always bedecked with confidence and self-assuredness. "Since childhood, I always felt I had an 'out-of-the-box' factor to give back to the industry," she confesses. Yet, her path meandered, and she grappled with self-esteem issues. Only later, after enrolling in an image consulting course, her vision cleared. The world of Fashion and self-expression, which had seemed distant, became an open field of opportunities. "It brought back my love for fashion," she reminisces, a reminder that sometimes our passions only need a gentle nudge to return. The tale takes a twist as we learn of her dalliance with setting up an online platform for local boutiques, a project that remained in the shadows. It's a testament to the fact that not every venture blooms into the spotlight, but each contributes to the growth of the creative spirit. Against the backdrop of these endeavours, the idea of fashion blogging simmered, waiting for the right moment to take centre stage. Paranosh Irani took her rightful place in the digital realm like a phoenix rising from the ashes. The days of indecision were behind her, replaced by a conviction to chase her dreams relentlessly. "When people around me work 3-4 jobs, why can't I manage two?" She questions a statement that encapsulates her relentless determination. With Instagram as her launchpad, she embarked on a blogging journey, eventually expanding her presence to a WordPress blog account. Today, her digital footprint is a testament to her creative prowess. She has crafted a space uniquely hers with content that reflects her quirky-edgy perspective on Fashion, insightful reviews, skincare tips, and lifestyle musings. But she didn't stop there. Winner of the Femina Mrs Stylista Pageant 2018, she broke her barriers and shattered the glass ceiling. "This was the first time I had ever won something beauty-fashion related," she chuckles, her younger self amazed by the woman she's become. The tale would only be complete by acknowledging her media collaborations. Her styling videos have graced the digital pages of My Good Times, while her story has been told through the ink of Eatmy News, Creme Magazine, Making HERstory Again, and the airwaves of Radio One, Pune. A highlight that gleams with pride is her participation in the Born on Instagram program by Instagram itself, a validation of her influence and creativity. Beyond the digital realm, Paranosh has ventured into entrepreneurship. Her online business, www.theaccessorys.com , and her preloved fashion endeavour, ReHome ReLove, symbolise her enterprising spirit. They are also a reminder that her journey is as much about creating pathways for others as it is about personal growth. As the conversation draws closer, her dreams emerge on the horizon. An ambassador on a global stage for fashion week, representing her unique style to the world – that's the crescendo she envisions. Yet, amidst the aspirations, her message remains grounded and potent. "Don't give up; perceive, push your boundaries and carve your niche because no one is like you!" Paranosh Irani is more than an influencer; she's a storyteller, a dreamer, and a warrior of self-expression. Her journey reminds us that pursuing passion is not a linear path but a tapestry of experiences woven with threads of resilience, audacity, and unyielding belief. As we bid farewell to this effervescent creator, we are left with the anticipation of the many chapters she's yet to pen, the stories she's yet to tell, and the fashion she’s yet to conquer. - Male Fashion and Masculinity
Male Fashion and Masculinity by Priti Sharma Male Fashion and Masculinity 8 November 2022 FASHION Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement “Fashion is knowing who you are, what you want to say, and not giving a damn.”- Orson Welles. A flower of creativity has blossomed in men’s fashion in recent years, igniting the menswear renaissance and refashioning archaic historical ideas of what it means to be masculine or feminine. In particular, feminine and masculine have been shaped and constrained by the gendered expectations of fashion: skirts and dresses are girly, whereas suits are for men; heels are for women, and sports or athletic gear is more masculine. This debate over who should wear what has persisted throughout history. Because of these harmful ideas about what it means to be a man, men are expected to dress nicely to be considered "truly masculine," or else they become weak, frail, feminine, or gay. But none of these terms—"feminine," "gay," "soft," or "fragile"—should ever be used as a derogatory epithet. “The ‘manly men’ are those who have the strength and courage to dress in whatever they are confident and comfortable with and most importantly of their preference.” For many centuries, the way men dressed was regulated—with strict guidelines—in terms of their position in the social hierarchy. Fashion has long been political and associated with power. Men in the seventeenth century were demonstrating traits of power when they appeared in flamboyant velvet and lace ensembles, caps decorated with ostrich feathers, and red-heeled shoes. The French Revolution ushered in significant change as well as the beginnings of more gender-neutral male attire. Male fashion these days follows different channels of transformation. The regular grooming of males is increasingly including makeup. The goal of skincare for men does not include making them seem attractive. In Western consumer shops, the moisturizer was formerly prohibited, but today it's ubiquitous, according to Gough. Along with other roles traditionally held by women, such as parenting and cooking, "makeup is one of the last bastions of femininity that males are creeping onto." Is the future of masculinity being defined by current trends in fashion? Probably, yes. Billy Porter's performance as "a living piece of political art" as he walked the Oscars red carpet in a tuxedo ball gown is evidence of the changes that have taken place, but when might those Hollywood fantasies come true for the average person? While certain Dusty Springfield-inspired miniskirts (from Charles Jeffrey) are regarded a tad "full-on," leopard print, neon, and "mirts"—men's skirts—are highlighted in British GQ's chart of menswear trends for Autumn/Winter 2019. Harry Styles utilizes the language of fashion to debunk common notions about what it means to be a man. Styles has now been able to modify the stereotypical image of conventional masculinity that the media marketed during his One Direction days as an ultra-male womanizer by changing his appearance. He cheerfully explains that he cherishes being in touch with his femininity as he openly flaunts nail paint, glittery suits, tutus, tiaras, and gowns today. No less of a man is Styles as a result of this. However, the boundaries imposed by toxic masculinity are starting to dissolve as menswear possibilities finally move away from this constricting gendered split. In December 2020, Styles became the first guy to appear alone on the cover of Vogue while proudly wearing a dress. Many people appreciated his cover, but it also sparked debate. In response, conservative writer Candace Owens tweeted, "There is no civilization that can thrive without strong males... Bring back the strong guys”. When he shared another image of himself posing for his Variety cover shot in a baby blue pleated suit with white ruffles and a V-neck cut, Styles deftly flipped her statements on their head by explicitly repeating them. His article exposes the toxic masculinity that permeates our culture and demonstrates the fact that a guy may define what it means to be "manly" for himself. Whether he is wearing a dress or not, he is still just as much of a man. Contrasted sharply with 19th-century fashion, which grew much more gender-specific, is this opulently masculine style. Men who wore skirts stopped wearing them once trousers became the norm. The "gentleman" was developed, and the suit developed into the pinnacle of masculine style, signifying male virility, power, and professionalism. In the modern office, menswear nearly always centers on the suit, which is often simple and dark in color. The tie, another not-so-subtle emblem of manhood, completes the look. However, the boundaries imposed by toxic masculinity are starting to dissolve as menswear possibilities finally move away from this constricting gendered split. While the western world is comfortable with women wearing trousers and male attire but a slight change in male fashion and beauty standards questions their masculinity. Because of cultural changes, there is no longer a harmful clothing code for being a guy. Even Daniel Craig attended the most recent James Bond premiere in a pink velvet suit. Daniel Craig's ability to dazzle the red carpet in a vision of pink illustrates just how much the idea of "manliness" has altered. As Harry Styles has demonstrated, being a man today can mean anything one wants it to mean. The'manly guys' are those who have the guts and strength to dress whatever they like. #MaleFashion #Masculinity #Feminine #Manly #Gender #GenderSpecific #BillyPorter #HarryStyles #Masculine #DanielCraig #Skincare #MakeUp SEARCH Why does Fashion Need Fashion Shows FASHION From Dreams To Crowns: Anuradha Garg’s Inspiring Mrs. India Story FASHION Colour Psychology in Fashion: Explained FASHION Legendary Female Icons Who Made Fashion Statements In The 20th Century FASHION The House of Chanel: History FASHION POPULAR POSTS Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement By Sakshi Shah Emporio Armani SS26 Is What Effortless Actually Looks Like Right Now 13 April 2026 FASHION By Sakshi Shah Max Fashion Turns 20 At Lakmé Fashion Week, In A Showcase That Felt Instinctive 7 April 2026 FASHION By Sakshi Shah Inside Lakmé Fashion Week: Triune By Prasoon Sharma Presents Fragile Dreams 2 April 2026 FASHION By Sakshi Shah Inside Gen Next At Lakmé Fashion Week: A Showcase Led By Saim 31 March 2026 FASHION RELATED POSTS Advertisement
