  • Priya Ahuja gets candid about her life behind the screen

Priya Ahuja gets candid about her life behind the screen by Aarti Singh Priya Ahuja gets candid about her life behind the screen 8 October 2022 COVER STORIES Advertisement A crucial part of a legendary Indian sitcom that has been ruling our screens for years now; Priya Ahuja aka. Rita Reporter has first-handedly faced the uncertainties of the industry. “There is no guarantee or any mantra of getting successful.” She has been a witness to how the industry requires tedious and copious amounts of hard work. Hard work that more so than often goes hand-in-hand with good luck. Priya feels that social media is one factor that has indefinitely made a huge difference for people today. “Few things are like blessings, say social media for that matter. Instagram helps so much; you can showcase your talent in a lot of ways, you can make reels, portray different shades of yourself. You don’t need to rush and make portfolios and look for the casting director. Social media has made it very easy that you can approach a lot of casting people directly through Instagram and share your work directly.” Her love for her work can clearly be seen in her deep-seated understanding of the same. She feels that the most challenging aspect of her job is also the most beautiful aspect and that is “The Show Must Go On.” “Whatever happens in your personal life, you have to get up next day and shoot. Whatever circumstances you face; in your family or in your personal life, you have to give your best shot when you’re working. So, I feel that’s the most challenging yet the most beautiful part of being an actor” When not busy with any projects, Priya enjoys reading. “The book that I love the most and has made a lot of impact in my life is The Alchemist. Really really love that book.” When asked about the people that have the most influence on her, she revealed that there are a lot of inspiring people like Boman Irani, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Dilip Joshi. These actors who are so brilliant at their jobs, someone started late, someone got success a little late, they motivate Priya a lot. “It’s okay just keep working hard. One day- someday- you are going to get your due, if you’re good at your job.” And it isn’t a hidden fact that at times, it gets tough in showbiz. In times like these, Priya likes to believe that one day she will get it. “That faith in my hard work, in my talent, that one day, someday, I’m also going to be there. I am going to achieve that. And I know I am going to do that. So that keeps me going. It’s okay if yesterday wasn’t that great, it’s okay if today is just ok ok. But surely, tomorrow is going to be beautiful.” On a heartfelt note, Priya revealed that she doesn’t believe in failures. According to her, a failure isn’t a failure if you learn something from it. Yet still, one regret she’ll always have is her short span on the hit serials Balika Vadhu and Saubhagyavati Bhava . “I was part of Balika Vadhu, it was a beautiful character; and also, Saubhagyavati Bhava . Both the shows, really really hit. But unfortunately, my track got over too early. I shot for very less days in both the shows. So yeah that regret I think I’ll have somewhere.” She wishes she could play the two characters in the respective shows for a comparatively longer period. We were pleasantly surprised when Priya said that she doesn’t plan her life. “All I want is to stay an actor till my last breath. That is, you can say, my biggest aim or my biggest dream. I always, always, want to stay an actor. Of course I want to be more successful than what I am, I want to achieve way more, I want to perform a lot of different characters, want to do more and more challenging characters, roles in my life. That’s the only plan. I don’t know when and how things are going to shape up but I’m sure soon something amazing will happen in my life.” Moving onto the fitness aspect of her routine, Priya shared that she absolutely loves working out and maintain a healthy lifestyle. Everyone who follows her knows how big of an advocate she is of a healthy active lifestyle. “I would love to clarify this, that I am not into fitness because I want to stay slim. I am into fitness because I want to stay healthy. Getting up without any support, so that when I get up, my body shouldn’t hurt. When I grow old, I don’t want to walk with support, up until a certain age. Maybe after a certain age, I’ll have to, but until then I would like to stay extremely fit so I can take care of myself.” In conversation about women empowerment, Priya disclosed that Feminism and Women Empowerment isn’t limited to wearing what you feel like wearing, behaving in a certain way, acting chic; Feminism isn’t about being ahead of men. It is about feeling empowered from within. “It is about the choices that you make in life. You have the ability to make the right choices and decisions about your life. You feel secure in a society, you feel powerful, you feel like you are an equal decision- maker in your family as much as the man in your family is.” Talking about life away from work, Priya mentioned how most of her time is spent running behind her toddler. And when she is not running behind her toddler, she compensates that by running on the treadmill. Just kidding! When she’s not spending time with her son, she is usually working out. “Currently I started doing Zumba and I really really enjoy doing that. I am totally in love with it.” Wrapping up the interview, Priya mentioned some upcoming future projects that’ll be revealed in due time. “Please keep on showering your love and keep us in your prayers. Very soon you’ll see me in something amazing. As an actor, if you are my fan, all I can say is, promise that pretty soon I’m going to do something amazing and I won’t disappoint you. As an actor. • Hebajasmi Unveils Captivating New Collection For SS25: A Masterpiece Of Art And Fashion

Hebajasmi Unveils Captivating New Collection For SS25: A Masterpiece Of Art And Fashion By Anushka Sharma Hebajasmi Unveils Captivating New Collection For SS25: A Masterpiece Of Art And Fashion 10 September 2024 FASHION Advertisement As the spotlight shines brightly on Dubai Fashion Week , HEBAJASMI , the Dubai-based couture brand known for its exquisite evening gowns, prepares to unveil its highly anticipated Spring/Summer 2025 collection titled “State of Art.” Set to debut on the 3rd of September at the D3 Stadium, this collection promises to be a striking representation of the brand’s core principles: quality, innovation, and craftsmanship. Since its inception in 2019, HEBAJASMI has captivated the world of couture with its masterful creations that celebrate femininity through structured, elegant designs. With “State of Art”, the brand continues to elevate its identity by exploring the intersection of fashion and art in new and imaginative ways. A Harmonious Blend of Nature and Surrealism: “State of Art” reflects a sophisticated fusion of nature-inspired abstraction and surrealist influences, creating a visual language that is both bold and poetic. The collection is defined by an interplay of structured embroidery, abstract lace, and a contemporary silhouette that pays homage to the female form. This season, HEBAJASMI’s creative team has skillfully juxtaposed precision-cut designs with flowing volumes to craft garments that are at once sculptural and fluid. The result is a collection that celebrates the duality of structure and nature. While the sharp tailoring accentuates the precision and control of the design, the voluminous fabrics and abstract motifs evoke a sense of organic movement. HEBAJASMI has succeeded in creating pieces that don’t just adorn the body but transform it into a canvas for artistic expression. Design Elements: Abstract Elegance Meets Couture Craftsmanship Central to the “State of Art” collection is HEBAJASMI’s impeccable attention to detail. The collection features key elements such as lace, hand embroidery, and abstract embroidery prints, which add layers of complexity to the overall aesthetic. These design elements are meticulously executed to create an intricate balance between traditional craftsmanship and modern abstraction. In keeping with the theme, the color palette for Spring/Summer 2025 reflects a love for vibrant colors, ranging from soft pastels to bold, saturated hues. The combination of bright and muted tones is reminiscent of nature's ever-changing landscape, where the soft hues of dawn give way to the brilliance of the midday sun. This nuanced use of color highlights the brand’s ability to infuse life into each garment, much like the dramatic hues observed in natural and cultural landscapes. One of the signature aspects of the collection is the exaggerated circular volumes, which are designed to evoke the sense of wearable art pieces. These voluminous silhouettes are not only statement-making but also represent a nod to the brand’s dedication to pushing the boundaries of conventional fashion. Each garment becomes a conversation piece, inviting the wearer and onlookers to engage with it as more than just couture but as art. An Artistic Reflection of Nature, Culture, and Humanity In discussing the inspiration behind the collection, HEBAJASMI explains that State of Art was born from an admiration for the vibrant colors and structures observed in daily life. The collection draws inspiration from the natural world, human artifacts, and cultural elements, weaving these themes into a cohesive fashion narrative. The blend of abstraction and surrealism seen in the garments reflects an exploration of how fashion can mirror the complexity and beauty of the world around us. The collection is an ode to artistic expression in its many forms. By translating the intricate details of nature and the boldness of culture into its designs, HEBAJASMI reaffirms its position as a brand that sees fashion not merely as a medium for creating clothing but as a form of artistic storytelling. Event Details and Anticipation for Dubai Fashion Week Dubai Fashion Week will provide the perfect backdrop for the grand debut of “State of Art”. • Glass Slippers And Glittery Masks!

Glass Slippers And Glittery Masks! by Aparajita Jaiswal Glass Slippers And Glittery Masks! 27 July 2020 LIFESTYLE Advertisement Don’t get too comfortable girls! You never know when the other shoe falls off too. Well when Alfred Tennyson said, “‘It is better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all,” I strongly disagree. Sometimes the best charmers are the ones needed to be kept on lock down. Men would say anything to get the girl. Beware of the dogs! Be with a guy that ruins your lipstick not your mascara! Although, as challenging as atoning can be, the rewards make it worth the time, but most people find it difficult to admit that there was fault to begin with and find it easier to pretend it never happened or that it’s not going to be a bother at all. But the problem with hiding your sins is that they always come back to haunt you. All masks eventually have to come off and with them so do the gloves. We all wear different masks for different reasons. Some masks we put on because it’s truly who we want to be while some masks we wear because we hope to stay hidden. Some we wear because we cannot bear to see what’s underneath or because it is what someone else wants us to be. But that’s the problem with wearing them is that they can be ripped off at any moment. Every journey is fraud with twists and turns. The ultimate challenge is to stay the course, move on from the past and forge your path into the future. Because one false move can spell disaster. #tisbettertohavelovedandlostthantoneverhavelovedatall #AlfredTennyson #MasksGirlUltimatechallengeAlfredTennysonsaid SEARCH Countdown To History: Omega Unveils Paris 2024 Olympics Countdown Clock And Special Edition Timepiece LIFESTYLE Juggling Law And Fashion: The Inspirational Journey Of Riddhi Nahata, A Multifaceted Influencer LIFESTYLE Join Shruti Yogi On Her Enchanting Journey From Kumkum Bhagya To Wanderlust Saga LIFESTYLE Personal Growth And Relatability: Ishita Khanna's Key To Influencer Success LIFESTYLE 6 Disadvantages Of Being Pretty LIFESTYLE POPULAR POSTS Advertisement Advertisement By Shrinivas Kodape Fast Times In Pune: Tracksuits, Dreams And A Dash Of Madness At Sports Con 2025 29 April 2025 LIFESTYLE By Aarti Singh The Audi A6: A Legacy Born From Rebellion And Refined Through Innovation 1 March 2025 LIFESTYLE By Sakshi Batra Glam Extravaganza 2025: Pune And Mumbai’s Influencers Compete For The Ultimate Spotlight 27 February 2025 LIFESTYLE By Anushka Uniyal Ice, Speed And Records: Porsche Taycan GTS Drifts Into History 27 February 2025 LIFESTYLE RELATED POSTS Advertisement

Freddie Mercury and Queen (70s and 80s) The trail of flamboyance continued from Elvis’s time with the coming of the British band Queen and their main man, Freddie Mercury who brought about the prevalence of androgyny in fashion. Starting with bell bottoms and dark bobs, Mercury later went on to experiment more with fashion with more bright tight fitting bodysuits and over the top jackets. His signature moustache was only a welcome addition in his later years. Michael Jackson (70s to 90s) The ‘Thriller’ singer was the one to put fedoras, single handed gloves, studded jackets and many more on the map during the peak of 90s. Jackson acted true to his words as mentioned in his autobiography ‘Moonwalk’ “If fashion says it’s forbidden, I’m going to do it,” And he sure found a way to make it fabulous too. Madonna (80s and 90s) There wasn’t a time in 1900s when Pop Queen Madonna was not totally iconic. She cut the right balance between punk and gorgeous with her lacy corsets paired with messy jumbles of pearls and her frizzy blonde hair. One of her most notable looks comes from her song ‘Material Girl’, embodying Marilyn Monroe perfectly in her own quintessential manner. Spice Girls (late 90s) The Spice Girls represented the fashion trends that were going around in the late 90s. Geri’s Union Jack dress, Mel C original athleisure looks, Emma’s pigtails, Victoria’s black fits and Mel B’s animal prints all perfectly sum up the era and boomed into the early 2000s as well. Britney Spears (late 90s and 2000s) Britney dominated the fashion game in the 2000s. ‘Hit me Baby One More Time’ gave rise to tied up shirts and sports bras. Young pop stars nowadays still try to emulate Britney in any way possible. Really, no one could make a huge yellow Boa python around the neck stylish the way she did, though. Jennifer Lopez (2000s) Jennifer Lopez is still making fashion statements well into 2023 but if we can’t go without mentioning that one dress that made fashion history which is the famous green Versace dress she wore at Grammys which was so iconic it was revived back in 2020. Harry Styles (2010s) Harry Styles joins the ranks of Elvis and Freddie Mercury, having transcended the boundaries of fashion. Shedding his boy band days image, Styles had went on to create a style of his own, which went beyond all gender norms and stereotypes. BTS (2010s) BTS has changed the footnotes of fashion for a whole new generation, not just in one nation but all over the world. They have totally redefined the standards of masculinity, sending shockwaves across current trends. With their popularity, ‘self expression’ has taken new roots in our society. #Musicons #Fashionstars #Rockstar style #Fashioninpop #Genderbender SEARCH The Rich Heritage of Indian Handloom FASHION Fashion In The 19th Century FASHION Colour Psychology in Fashion: Explained FASHION The Influence Of Kanye West On Fashion FASHION K-Pop Fashion And Its Impact On Global Wardrobe FASHION POPULAR POSTS Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement By Shriniwas Kodape AiSPi Wanderlust Diaries: Marzook, L’Afshar, And A Fashion Bender In Mumbai 25 April 2025 FASHION By Anushka Uniyal Kiyaan Silver: Timeless Jewellery For Every Woman 27 March 2025 FASHION By Sakshi Batra The Shoe Faktory Success Story: Ishpreet Singh Gujral’s Bold Business Leap 27 March 2025 FASHION By Sakshi Batra From Reality TV To Real Success: Nibedita Paal’s Inspiring Story 27 March 2025 FASHION RELATED POSTS

  • The Journey Of Shilpa Joshi: A Musical Odyssey

The Journey Of Shilpa Joshi: A Musical Odyssey By Anushka Sharma The Journey Of Shilpa Joshi: A Musical Odyssey 6 August 2024 COVER STORIES Advertisement Shilpa Joshi’s journey into the world of music is nothing short of inspiring. Her story is a testament to the power of passion, perseverance, and the importance of following one’s dreams, no matter the obstacles. Shilpa’s foray into music began in 2017, a seemingly late start by industry standards. Yet, as she reflects, "It's never too late to start anything which is beautiful and you love and satisfies your soul." With these words, she captures the essence of her musical journey—a path driven by love and a desire to nourish her spirit. While 2017 marked her professional debut with the song "Pehla Pyaar," Shilpa’s connection to music was deeply ingrained long before. Despite her father’s insistence on prioritizing education, her passion for singing remained unwavering. “My father wanted me to study first. His main priority was my studies. But when I was done with my studies, he was okay with me choosing my path. Music was my first love, so I chose that.” Shilpa’s early professional years were marked by her collaboration with Kunal Jaisingh, a popular face in 2017. Her debut song, featuring Jaisingh, gained significant attention, setting the stage for her burgeoning career. "It’s like a dream come true, considering that it started as a passion but ultimately became my bread and butter," she remarks. Her journey, however, was not without its challenges. Shilpa speaks candidly about the importance of manifestation and visualization in her life. “In 2019, I went through a major surgery and spent nearly a year and a half recovering. Even during those tough times, I found happiness within myself. My father always told me, ‘As long as you are breathing, live every moment fully.’ This mindset helped me find strength and purpose even in the darkest times.” Shilpa’s musical career has transcended borders, earning her a significant following in Pakistan. She attributes this unexpected success to the organic and heartfelt nature of her work. “I’ve received a lot of love from Pakistan. Followers often ask me to create new songs or covers for them. This love has been overwhelming and deeply gratifying.” The conversation also delved into the evolving landscape of the music industry, particularly the use of autotune . Shilpa offers a balanced perspective, acknowledging its role in enhancing music while emphasizing the importance of maintaining the raw, authentic quality of a singer’s voice. She says, “See, the other electronic instruments are tuned on 440HZ already. Our vocal notes aren’t tuned to that extent. In order to have a harmonious compilation between the two, the people tend to make the use of auto tune. It’s all about ensuring that it sounds better at the end of the day.” Looking ahead, she remains committed to her independence as an artist. She believes in the power of independent music and the freedom it offers. “Labels are good, but I feel that if your song has a message, it will find its path. Independent artists have their own shine. People will know you, and why not take that chance?” Social media, while a powerful tool, is not the cornerstone of Shilpa’s career. She acknowledges its benefits but also warns against its potential pitfalls. “Social media is not everything. It has both pluses and minuses. Numbers are not that important. For me, what matters is the authenticity and sincerity of my music.” With a lot of love for her family in her eyes, and her voice, her story is one of resilience and authenticity. Her journey underscores the importance of staying true to oneself and the transformative power of music. As she continues to create and inspire, Shilpa remains a beacon of hope for aspiring artists everywhere. “Music is love, and this is something you can’t explain or measure. It is felt in your heart.” Through her words and her music, Shilpa continues to touch lives, proving that with passion and perseverance, dreams can indeed become reality. • Keeping it real with fashion & lifestyle influencer of the year Hofit Golan

Keeping it real with fashion & lifestyle influencer of the year Hofit Golan By Aparajita Jaiswal Keeping it real with fashion & lifestyle influencer of the year Hofit Golan 5 April 2022 COVER STORIES Advertisement Hofit Golan’s (Lifestyle, Fashion, Travel Influencer) interview with Manya Vadehra was quite a refreshing piece. With each question asked, she showcased positivity and the importance of valuing oneself. She won the title of Forbes Influencer of the year (2021) and has walked the ramp for several fashion weeks, including The Paris Fashion week in March 2022. She has modelled for brands such as Elisabetta Franchi and made significant appearances at The Venice Film Festival (2021) and Cannes Film Festival (2021). Hofit Golan’s entry into the fashion world was quite “by chance”. The influencer claimed that her first gig came as an opportunity from a relation of hers, trancing her journey as a “fashion entrepreneur”. She has actively contributed to organisations such as Global Angels Foundation, an international charity inspiring disadvantaged communities around the world to grow sustainably. According to her- “It is important to look at the bigger things in life. Even though I am an influencer, contributing to the society and maintaining healthy relations is way beyond that” Health and fitness are essentials in her lifestyle, and she motivates everyone to look after their body and mind and have a positive outlook towards it. When asked which amongst Runway catwalk, cover shoots and television and film acting she enjoys the most, she reveals- “None out of them. They all are a part of my job but being with my loved ones and meeting new people is what matters the most. I enjoy doing them all as part of my career, however I don’t look at them in the bigger picture”. Hofit Golan’s Instagram Bio says she is a Crypto Queen. When asked about NFT and Metaverse, here is what she had to say- “I think cryptocurrency and Metaverse are revolutionary developments in technology. There is massive technological growth and are huge inventions to invest in, especially in today’s era” Being a public figure and, therefore, shining in the spotlight can also have a negative side in terms of social media trolling. Hofit gives a positive outlook on such situations by saying- “If that is the case, the one stop solution is to simply block people. There is no need to give value to someone’s opinion who you may or may not know. It is not necessary for you to listen to such trolls. Personally, I received trolling way before I entered the space of social media but for those who are facing it, just learn to focus on yourself. Nothing is more important than your personal well-being. Therefore, prioritise that and everything else shall fall in place.” Hofit’s methods and manners of living life to the fullest are indeed inspiring. Her message to her fans and to the readers of the interview is to believe in themselves and their capabilities. “There is so much that you can do. Just believe that you are on the right path and keep going. You have got this” #Fashion #lutopia #LutopiaMagazine SEARCH Actor Kangna Sharma gives a sneak peek into the movie of her life COVER STORIES Finding Power In Individuality: In Conversation With The Stunning Alina Rai COVER STORIES Madhura Naik talks about the Life of an Actress COVER STORIES Kavya Thapar And Her Versatile Acting Career That Cuts Across Regional Lines COVER STORIES Ahsaas Channa Talks About Her Mother Being The Inspiration Behind Her Career COVER STORIES POPULAR POSTS Advertisement Advertisement By Shriniwas Kodape Neon Nights And Yellow Lights: The Sonic World Of Natania Lalwani 30 April 2025 COVER STORIES By Sakshi Batra Farhan Khan: Where Poetry Meets Hip-Hop, And Stories Come Alive 10 February 2025 COVER STORIES By Anushka Sharma A Journey Shaped By Courage, Creativity, And Social Media With Aditi Sharma 19 October 2024 COVER STORIES By Anushka Sharma A Journey Of Transformation, Empathy, And Unwavering Passion With Jitin Gulati 11 October 2024 COVER STORIES RELATED POSTS Advertisement
