Castles are fortified buildings built by the royals in the medieval era, for defense purposes and to protect the people living in them from invasions. The era of castles started about 1000 years ago and lasted for almost 500 years. The lavish architectural designs and extravagant luxurious interiors of the castles often were to display the wealth and power of the nobility. Almost every castle in the world has been said to hold history and secrets of its own, which many historians and archeologists are still trying to unravel. Regardless of their stories behind the walls, castles make great historical monuments. These establishments have a mysterious aura and magic of their own and have been attracting the eyes of tourists for a century, which has seen a gradual increase in recent years. Modern people are hugely interested and invested in learning about the history, art, and triumph of the people who once inhabited these places. Not only castles are intriguing but overall look like a place out of fairytales. Here we have listed some magnificent Castles that you need to include in your next travel plan and give yourself a magical fairytale vacation. 1. Many secrets and stories still revolve around the castle and especially around the torture chamber in it. The Tower of London is a wealth of history and stories. People can see crown jewels, enjoy the display of armor and weapons, feel the mystery to their bones, or witness the daily ceremony of keys done by Yeomen warders. Initially, the Castle was completed in 1406 but was expanded several times because of the growing number of Teutonic Knights. The original castle was initially made of wood, however, by the 15th century Hohenwerfen was developed into a magnificent stone structure. • How To Organize Your Wardrobe

How To Organize Your Wardrobe by Prarthana Rohatgi How To Organize Your Wardrobe 16 February 2023 FASHION Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement Expression is important. The human race has excelled in expressing itself with symbols like the car we drive, the literature we consume, or the clothes we wear. For some people, Fashion is a means of self-expression; it depicts our identity differently. The colors we wear, the style we choose, etc. Organization of your closet means a lot, like organizing your identity. Watching tik tok and vlogs for ideas or as a good sport is easy and fun, but doing the work is intimidating. If you need help and wondering where and how to begin, we've got a guide for you. 1. Declutter: The first step to organizing anything is to declutter. Empty your wardrobe. Clean every nook and corner. Think of emptying your closet like a cleanse. Someone clumsy might find various items you've lost over the years. Earrings that went missing months ago, shoes you have never worn, bags you don't remember owning, or clothes you have been searching for. Organizing anything is impossible if all the objects aren't present, which is why cleaning is essential. Cleaning brings with it some difficult decisions. What to keep and what not to. Tough, thoughtful decisions have to be made. Donate or discard items that you no longer need. Repurpose other items if you can. 2. Categorize The next step is categorizing. Categorizing is for convenience. Every person can have a different preference. Categorizing by seasons. Having easy access to seasonal clothes in regions with extreme climates, like those of the temperate region, can be very convenient Categorizing by color: This makes your wardrobe aesthetically pleasing. There is nothing more satisfying than having a color-coordinated closet. Categorizing by Style: Casual, sports, party, or traditional. Instead of having them all mismatched. Placing them in order helps you find them faster. If you're a last-minute dresser, this will make things easier. 3. Maximise space To maximize the storage of your closet use storage solutions like hanging organizers, shelf dividers, or boxes. Make sure to choose solutions that fit your specific needs and the dimensions of your closet. Make use of vertical space. Install additional hanging rods to maximize the use of the vertical space in your closet. It can help you store more items and have easy access. Once you have cleaned and organized your closet, only one thing remains: Maintaining your wardrobe. Regularly tidy up your closet and think of innovative ways to access your storage. You now have your brand-new closet ready for its debut. Like Amy fine collins said, "Opening your closet should be like arriving at a really good party where everyone you see is someone you like." #fashion #closetclense #organazing #maximisespace #declutter #newclosetnewyou SEARCH Why does Fashion Need Fashion Shows FASHION From Dreams To Crowns: Anuradha Garg’s Inspiring Mrs. India Story FASHION Colour Psychology in Fashion: Explained FASHION Legendary Female Icons Who Made Fashion Statements In The 20th Century FASHION The House of Chanel: History FASHION POPULAR POSTS Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement By Shriniwas Kodape The Snake That Wore Red: Inside The Vision Cultured™ Revolution 19 October 2025 FASHION By Sakshi Shah Francesca Bellettini Ushers In Gucci’s New Dawn 19 September 2025 FASHION By Shriniwas Kodape Dibba Studio: Weaving The Future Of Fashion At Thailand Fashion Week AW25-26 2 September 2025 FASHION By Shriniwas Kodape Aksstagga: Threads That Whisper Love, Memory, And Eternity 21 August 2025 FASHION RELATED POSTS Advertisement

  • SS25 New Futures - Swedish Stockings Bring The New Era Of Fashion Unpredictability

SS25 New Futures - Swedish Stockings Bring The New Era Of Fashion Unpredictability By Aarti Singh SS25 New Futures - Swedish Stockings Bring The New Era Of Fashion Unpredictability 25 January 2025 FASHION Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement For everyone out there who’s New Year's resolution was to make a statement through their fashion and be more responsible towards the planet at the same time, this year sure started off with a bang. Gear yourselves and be prepared to be amazed for Swedish Stockings is here with their brand new collection - SS25 - New Futures; that features a fresh new line up of leg wear for rocking the transitional season looks. Swedish Stockings is a brand that wishes to bring about more sustainable practices in the fashion realm. Their brand motive aligns perfectly with this vision as their entire collection is designed around the central theme of longevity. And even their latest SS25 collection has been designed in Stockholm and produced in zero waste factories in Italy. All the pieces designed are inspired by handcraft as the collection explores different knitting techniques, crochets and laces that feature a dynamic range and provide the canvas for self-expression along with statement net patterns. The colour palette is curated carefully, presenting you with both soft and muted options like brown, grey and pink as well as bold and vibrant accents like Sky Blue and Apple Green. Their mission has always been to implement change and lead by example by proving that sustainability and fashion can go hand-in-hand, without sacrificing or compromising on great quality and design. And for this collection, CEO Linn Frisinger says, “We’re imagining the future, while looking to the past”. Because let’s be honest, we have all been a witness to the timelessness of fashion. It is a cyclical field by nature and no one can really tell what is to come or what would be the up and coming trend. Which is also the very reason why Linn says, “This collection represents a new era, where no one can predict what’s to come- yet we meet with an eternal dawn, a fresh perspective and a hopeful tone”. This era stands for the crests and troughs of fashion that we are seeing wherein we stand collected on a path that could truly take any turn the very next moment. It is a period of unpredictability in the world of fashion, with trends blowing up or vanishing up in thick fog almost overnight. And that is precisely what this collection “New Futures” tries to incorporate in all of its pieces. Be it the Rosa Lace Tights in Sky Blue and in brown that are perfect for a day to night time slay, knitted with luxe lace and featuring a soft floral pattern along with a sewn-on, soft waistband; or the bold and statement making Sofia Leo Tights featuring the iconic animal print- all pieces hold a royal life span leading to a much more sustainable hosiery buying practice. The collection also features the Mila ruffle and the Petite Dots series, along with the Olivia Premium tights in Sky Blue for a more subtle and muted statement. For a lighter transitional styling, the drop includes the Mila socks, Eira and Ekin knee-highs alongside the bold new knitted pattern of the Lykke Net Tights. And all these pieces act like a slate for you to practice your individuality and self-expression in a way that is farthest from ordinary. The SS25 New Futures campaign is set in Tokyo to bring in fusion straight from the land of longevity itself. It is shot and styled by the Swedish creative duo Rami Hanna and Hanna MW , who are also the minds behind the glorious imagery that unfolds as a clash between the contemporary and retro nostalgia. The campaign shoot stages a play with layers, giving the undertones of old and new through its visuals as well. “New Futures” is all about harnessing the transformative energy that takes place when opposites collide, when your choice of accessory can be a mirror to your mood and a statement, all at the same time and all too seamlessly. • The Saga Of Saloni And The Rise Of GulaboJaipur

The Saga Of Saloni And The Rise Of GulaboJaipur by Anushka Sharma The Saga Of Saloni And The Rise Of GulaboJaipur 8 March 2023 FASHION Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement As each year passes, the world meets with more and more wins for women, and our nation is no exception to this phenomenon. From women being able to receive the accolades in various industries to witnessing them being employed in the rural part of India, this Women’s Day, we’re just happy to have come this far. To have reached corners and nooks that this nation has treasured since time immemorial. Narrating a tale as old as time(10 years ago), There once existed a brand that believed in building itself through embracing the heritage and craftsmanship of Rajasthan. It believed in exuding the best of Jaipur in particular, and soared high enough to carve a niche in the hearts of some Bollywood biggies. While the tale doesn’t end here, there’s a lot to catch up on GulaboJaipur . GulaboJaipur is so much more than a successful brand in today’s times. It represents how Saloni, the founder, saw the world of indigenous fashion through rose tinted glasses, and materialized all that she had once envisioned for her brand. If we take it long, long ago, it was Saloni’s mother who believed in her eye for design and gave her the capital to start the business. Needless to say, the capital has been wonderfully utilized and multiplied in paramount ways. GulaboJaipur has been casting its magic over the masses ever since its inception. It’s been 10 years since the brand gained momentum, and beautifully so, hasn’t stopped since. Situated in a region of India which is heavily diverse in beauty, customs and traditions, Saloni wanted to do more than just extract the cultural and aesthetic segment of Rajasthan. Along with curating some beloved pieces which were later cherished by Kareena Kapoor and various other celebrities of taste, she was also empowering the women of Rajasthan by offering them employment. “I try to employ more and more artisans from all parts of Rajasthan, such as Bagru, Sanganer, and many more. Each village in Rajasthan is different and each sub-region defines differences in craftsmanship. I also believe that women can live with more pride if they are financially independent.” - Saloni As something noteworthy that the brand has experienced in these few years, Saloni recalls how she jumped with joy when she had received an email from the Pataudi Palace. The email expressed Kareena Kapoor’s keen interest in shopping for maternity wear from GulaboJaipur . That incident played the role of a good luck charm in the business which later flourished amidst a lot of celebrities. The key-takeaway in this entire process of fashion stardom was how the brand was loved, appreciated and admired for its core values and design. As a brand that has existed for more than ten years, we didn’t expect Saloni to remember much about her very first collection. To our surprise, she has a vivid memory of every scaled-down detail of her first collection, from launching Anarkalis with broad gotta patti to her velvet scarves. If this doesn’t make one believe in the essence of a brand being the founder’s baby, we don’t know what will! Saloni also recalls how GulaboJaipur was earlier marketed and managed in terms of its sales by Saloni’s husband, and he indeed took the business to new, scalable, virtual heights. But do you know what differentiates GulaboJaipur from the multitude of labels that exist out there? Nothing. The sheer beauty of this brand is how it embraces everyday wear with so much grace and grandeur. Saloni puts it perfectly, “I believe in making clothes that are very sadabahar and can be worn anywhere and everywhere.” Well, she clearly has mixed a lot of chic-essence in these Sadabahar attires, and we indeed love every bit of it! Saloni’s saga of the revival of indigenous fashion in the most effortless way possible is worth admiration. Her story inspires and celebrates women on a similar rhythm. While the individuality and confidence with which she reigns her brand teaches us a lot about how it ultimately results in believing in oneself, her success as a fashion designer celebrates how a woman cherished her roots in her work at all times and yet took over the world by a storm! • Repeating clothes isn't a faux pas anymore

Repeating clothes isn't a faux pas anymore by Aishwarya Repeating clothes isn't a faux pas anymore 5 November 2022 FASHION Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement Fashion is an integral part of our personality. We constantly take inspiration from social media and celebrities. Though we get to know the fashion trends from them, we also get the notion that we have to wear a new piece of clothing every single time. Moreso, the people who have a presence on social media get influenced by celebrities and fashion influencers. It’s almost a nightmare for social media influencers, to repeat their clothes. Even we expect them to wear new clothes every single time, which is neither possible nor viable. The celebrities we look up to are the ones who get their dresses sourced from various mediums. For a common man like us, it’s not a viable option to opt for. Repeating clothes have been made up into a controversy that, we now need to normalize it. Repeating clothes is one of the best decisions you can take because it has a lot of benefits. You don’t have to be a sustainability influencer, to promote repeating the clothes. It is a very basic thing that we all have been doing, now even celebrities are opening up about it. Many celebrities are seen repeating their clothes and owning them with confidence and grace. Now, let us see the 3 reasons why you should also repeat your clothes. SUSTAINABILITY : According to research, we almost generate 92 million tonnes of waste every year. This number is not surprising because that’s what happens when we are expected to wear new clothes every single time we step out of our house. By simply repeating your clothes, you can reduce textile wastage and carbon footprint. It is to be noted that the clothing industry generates 10% of all global carbon emissions and, it is the second biggest industrial polluter. The fast fashion culture has given rise to carbon emissions. The fashion industry has gained its profit through fast fashion, but our environment is paying for it. Fashion is all about you and, your confidence is what makes it fashionable and not the attires. DECISION FATIGUE : Do you remember the co-founder and CEO of Facebook, wearing that grey t-shirt? Well, it has become a uniform for Mark Zuckerberg. However, most billionaires wear the same set of clothing and, it has a reason for it. They are well aware of a phenomenon called decision fatigue- a fatigue that deteriorates the quality of the decision taken by human beings. Our brain requires a lot of energy for making a decision and, that is the reason why most billionaires prefer to wear the same clothes. By doing so, they reduce one more event of decision-making. It is very important for them, to manage their decision-making energy and focus on the more important ones. SAVE MONEY : We all spend so much of our income on buying new clothes. Rather we could save money by thrifting or borrowing the clothes that are mostly a one-time fashion. The dresses for weddings are expensive and one-time fashion, these can be borrowed, thrifted or, reused with different accessories. We can reuse many of our clothes by just accessorizing them differently. These tweaks will make you look put together and also save some penny for the end of the month. • How Fashion Shapes and Represents Our Identity

How Fashion Shapes and Represents Our Identity by Yashi Srivastava How Fashion Shapes and Represents Our Identity 14 December 2022 FASHION Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement From the stores we visit to the colors that we pick to wear, everything is influenced by our individual personality. While fashion certainly gets us moving towards what’s trending in the current world, it also gets us closer to who we really are by helping us find our own sense of style. It is that simple and it is that complicated - to understand fashion and find our true selves in and with it. So, how does fashion shape and represent our identity? Let’s try and understand. Fashion and age You will see a 15-year old dressed in the fashion of a 50-year old one day and come across a 40-something woman dressed as a k-pop idol in her 20s. Well, it completely depends on the mental or chosen age of the person that how they want to present themselves through their fashion. Many teenagers love wearing sneakers and accessories while a lot of them prefer to adorn baggy jeans with loose T-shirts. In a social event, no two people of the same age will dress the same. Woman A would come in a little black dress while woman B would wear a shimmer top with boyfriend jeans. Fashion and gender The identity surrounding men and women's fashion is another way fashion shapes and represents us. For example, skirts are for women and pants for men. Make-up is only for women while men cannot wear mascara even if they want! If you notice, fashion represents our identities as male and female, even though the world is awakening and the boundary between gender according to gender is fading. Thanks to men in fashion, art, and music, who are challenging the gender norms in fashion and bringing more fluidity and flexibility to it. Also, the LGBTQ+ communities, who are challenging it all, from fashion to acceptance - the world is waking up for good! So, shoutout to men who love to wear lipsticks and women who want to adorn business suits all the time - it is your era and you can shape fashion according to your identity however you want! Fashion and values When a female crosses the age of 13 or 14, she starts receiving the programming of dressing modestly. Well, most of them, so they do not become the object of sexuality- the reality is far from it but you get what I mean, right? Most women grow up in modest fashion so they do not draw attention to them whereas men can walk around however they want. The fashion where women must cover their skins with long skirts and full tops reflects the value of not just an individual buy an entire culture. However, the times are changing and we, as human beings, need to understand that fashion and culture may go hand in hand but it doesn't have to be as per the norms, but individual choice of men and women both. Fashion is a unique way to tell the world about who we are as human beings. It lets us communicate or in some ways, scream, our individuality to the world. So, why wait for the world to allow us to be who we are? So, go ahead, and try a new fashion today and if it resonates with your individuality, keep the trend. Fashion is more than just a style statement; it boasts of your identity and individuality. Blob - How many times have you wanted to try a new piece of clothing or a footwear simply because you thought it speaks to you, or suits your personality? Well, this is how fashion shapes you and if you continue experimenting with it, it will soon become a part of your identity. #Fashion #FashionYourIdentity #LGBTQFashion #StyleAndFashion #Individuality SEARCH Why does Fashion Need Fashion Shows FASHION From Dreams To Crowns: Anuradha Garg’s Inspiring Mrs.

  • Breaking Stereotypes About Women and Motorcycles

SOCIETY by Aparajita Jaiswal Breaking Stereotypes About Women and Motorcycles 1 June 2021 SOCIETY Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement Women shifting gears of their bikes, to shift gears of perspectives of people’s minds! “Life’s not fair; Get used to it”, a renowned quote by Bills Gates and the first rule from his “11 rules you will never learn in school”. Though Bill Gates had quoted these words for everybody in general, women would resonate with the words more effectively than men. Women have been surrounded by and are living in through the innumerable stereotypes since time immemorial. For everyone who is wondering, what a stereotype is, it is an image of how an individual is expected to act based upon factors such as race, nationality, sexual orientation and lot more. From the very beginning, girls come across rigid stereotypes which at times prove to be major barriers on their path of following their heart. The impact of these stereotypes can be bought to light, in two very simple yet thought provoking, statements which are oversimplified and overgeneralized by the society as a whole. “Pink is for girls and blue is for boys”, “Boys don’t cry”, are very common statements. Everyone might have come across one of these two general gender-based stereotypes. What makes everything worse is the fact that, somewhere, each and every person of the society has been, either intentionally or unintentionally been playing a role in building such rigidity. A measure of rigidity is bought to light by the fact that people actually consider that there’s no such thing called stereotyping and usually end up saying “This is how it is meant to be”. One such stereotype being that “motorcycling is not meant for women”. Motorcycling and biking has been always taken as a male oriented niche. Since time immemorable, motorcycling has always been associated with men to pursued as a career, hobby or passion. When talked about “bikers” or “motorcyclists”, the first image that is formed in one’s mind is a strong, masculine figure, wearing helmet and a safety kit and riding a heavy sports bike. Never does the image a woman in the same attire, upon a sports bike occur to people. Moreover, in case of bikers on the racing tracks, women are not even taken in consideration even in the imaginations. For those girls who stand strong and are courageous enough to follow their heart, family restrictions become a barrier. For those who even convince and receive family support, the entire society becomes a major obstacle in their path. Yet as a ray of hope in the midst of this stereotypical hanging rope, there are examples of women who tend to break the stereotypes and follow their passion fighting against all the odds that might cross their path. One such inspiring women is Roshni Misbah. During an interview, she gives us an insight into her journey and how she overcame the set stereotypes to follow her passion and become the only girl in India to own a Ninja H2. “Just because we aren’t allowed to do it, doesn’t mean we can’t do it” Roshni Misbah boldly quotes in favour of all the girls out there who wish to ride. Coming from a family of Islamic scholars and Hafiz’s, and then being a motorcycle enthusiast was odd. Her parents were initially hesitant but she somehow convinced them. The support of her family always which proved to be an ease in the rocky path. Talking about her journey, Roshni mentions that she always received odd looks from people on the road while she rode her bike on the way to college. She specifically mentions the fact that boys usually tried to overtake her, perform some stunts around her and make awkward comments. But nothing could stop her from riding, it was her passion and interest for riding is what kept her going. “As much as we say, we are living in a free world, the fact that there are still places where woman is NOT ALLOWED to do a lot if stuff” she believes. The issue of gender discrimination and stereotypes are very closely interrelated. However, she adds that “I think its all here! In the mind, for you to hold on to and follow your passion.” “You can follow your culture, ethics and yet follow your passion all at a time” she firmly stated. She also puts to light that the stereotypes are just in the mind. Though women today have all the resources and freedom, there is still something that makes their paths so very difficult or becomes a barrier. In most cases its all about the stereotypes and stereotypes are just in the mind. It is the people’s mindset that got to be changed first to bring about the freedom of women in its truest sense. • The Snake That Wore Red: Inside The Vision Cultured™ Revolution

The Snake That Wore Red: Inside The Vision Cultured™ Revolution By Shriniwas Kodape The Snake That Wore Red: Inside The Vision Cultured™ Revolution 19 October 2025 FASHION Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement The night smelled of aerosol and adrenaline. In a cramped studio littered with spray cans and half-finished sketches, Zachary Michael Roberts stood under a flickering bulb, hood pulled low, a cloud of red mist swirling around him. His hands moved fast, sharp, precise, as if he were conducting an orchestra only he could hear. Each burst of paint hissed like a snake exhaling. On the table lay the beginnings of a myth: the Vision Cultured™ “VC x YOTS Shedding Modular Piece.” Waterproof nylon. Breathable lining. An anatomically accurate ribcage stenciled across the front. Two snakes entwined in the back, their heads forming a heart. A jacket that could turn into a backpack, then into a tote bag, a shape-shifter. “I wanted something that evolves,” Roberts says, eyes gleaming with a mix of pride and exhaustion. “Like us.” He was nineteen when he started Vision Cultured™, a name that sounded less like a fashion label and more like a movement. And that’s exactly what it is, a rebellion stitched in nylon and sealed with Mod Podge. “I never wanted to be one thing,” he admits. “I draw, paint, shoot videos, design; everything I’ve ever loved comes through this one company. It’s my legacy in motion.” Now, at twenty-something, with a Bachelor of Fashion Design underway, Roberts moves like a man who knows he’s onto something not chasing trends, but purpose. The Shedding Modular Piece wasn’t born in a boardroom but from a university assignment on modular fashion that spiraled into obsession. He laughs when he recalls the drafts. “Hundreds of them,” he says. “The hood was the hardest. It covers the face, only the eyes visible. It hides, but it also dares. Red, bold, defiant, dangerous.” Thailand changed everything. A trip to Bangkok for inspiration turned into a revelation Muay Thai fighters, their coiled energy and calculated patience, reminded him of snakes. “They strike only when it matters,” he says. “They shed ego through discipline. That became the philosophy of the piece: protect, adapt, evolve.” The snake, symbol of 2025’s Chinese zodiac, slithered straight into his imagination. It wasn’t just aesthetic; it was spiritual. “Shedding is uncomfortable,” he says. “It’s growth through pain. That’s what the snake represents what we all go through.” But Roberts didn’t stop at symbolism. He turned it into texture. The jacket’s surface is hand-sprayed using Loop Colors, layered with streaks of red and white that crack, peel, and shift over time. It’s deliberately imperfect, a skin in transition. “Like graffiti,” he says. “Claimed, buffed, erased, then reclaimed again.” Each wear tells a new story. The Mod Podge seal begins to break; the colors flake and shift. The garment changes as its owner does. No two ever age the same. It’s not about permanence, it's about the poetry of erosion. There’s a quiet boldness to Roberts’ world, one foot in streetwear, the other in philosophy. “Vision Cultured™ is the intersection of identity, expression, and community,” he says. “It’s about transformation, rebellion, growth. Every piece has intention. Every stitch has a story.” And it’s not just talk. You can feel it in the weight of the jacket, in the way the ribcage aligns with your own when you wear it. It’s both armor and confession raw, exposed, unafraid. “I’ve always been fascinated by what’s beneath the surface,” Roberts says. “People, design, life, all of it. Showing bones feels vulnerable and powerful at the same time.” He describes his customers like characters in a novel. “Artists, fighters, wanderers, thinkers. People who’ve lived through something and aren’t afraid to wear that.” There’s something cinematic about the way he says it as if he’s already seen them walking through neon-lit streets, the red jacket glowing like a pulse in the dark. For Roberts, Vision Cultured™ isn’t just fashion; it’s alchemy. The transformation of pain into purpose. “Everything I said I would do,” he repeats softly, “I will do.” It sounds less like a quote and more like a spell. And maybe that’s what Vision Cultured™ really is a collection of living spells disguised as garments. They breathe, they age, they shed. They whisper stories about becoming. In the end, the Shedding Modular Piece isn’t just a jacket it’s a mirror. One that reflects not who you are, but who you’re becoming. Because true expression, like true evolution, never stays still. It coils. It sheds. And then, it strikes.
