  • Keeping it real with fashion & lifestyle influencer of the year Hofit Golan

Keeping it real with fashion & lifestyle influencer of the year Hofit Golan By Aparajita Jaiswal Keeping it real with fashion & lifestyle influencer of the year Hofit Golan 5 April 2022 COVER STORIES Advertisement Hofit Golan’s (Lifestyle, Fashion, Travel Influencer) interview with Manya Vadehra was quite a refreshing piece. With each question asked, she showcased positivity and the importance of valuing oneself. She won the title of Forbes Influencer of the year (2021) and has walked the ramp for several fashion weeks, including The Paris Fashion week in March 2022. She has modelled for brands such as Elisabetta Franchi and made significant appearances at The Venice Film Festival (2021) and Cannes Film Festival (2021). Hofit Golan’s entry into the fashion world was quite “by chance”. The influencer claimed that her first gig came as an opportunity from a relation of hers, trancing her journey as a “fashion entrepreneur”. She has actively contributed to organisations such as Global Angels Foundation, an international charity inspiring disadvantaged communities around the world to grow sustainably. According to her- “It is important to look at the bigger things in life. Even though I am an influencer, contributing to the society and maintaining healthy relations is way beyond that” Health and fitness are essentials in her lifestyle, and she motivates everyone to look after their body and mind and have a positive outlook towards it. When asked which amongst Runway catwalk, cover shoots and television and film acting she enjoys the most, she reveals- “None out of them. They all are a part of my job but being with my loved ones and meeting new people is what matters the most. I enjoy doing them all as part of my career, however I don’t look at them in the bigger picture”. Hofit Golan’s Instagram Bio says she is a Crypto Queen. When asked about NFT and Metaverse, here is what she had to say- “I think cryptocurrency and Metaverse are revolutionary developments in technology. There is massive technological growth and are huge inventions to invest in, especially in today’s era” Being a public figure and, therefore, shining in the spotlight can also have a negative side in terms of social media trolling. Hofit gives a positive outlook on such situations by saying- “If that is the case, the one stop solution is to simply block people. There is no need to give value to someone’s opinion who you may or may not know. It is not necessary for you to listen to such trolls. Personally, I received trolling way before I entered the space of social media but for those who are facing it, just learn to focus on yourself. Nothing is more important than your personal well-being. Therefore, prioritise that and everything else shall fall in place.” Hofit’s methods and manners of living life to the fullest are indeed inspiring. Her message to her fans and to the readers of the interview is to believe in themselves and their capabilities. “There is so much that you can do. Just believe that you are on the right path and keep going. You have got this” #Fashion #lutopia #LutopiaMagazine SEARCH A Journey Shaped By Courage, Creativity, And Social Media With Aditi Sharma COVER STORIES Inner Joy Trails My Inspiration : A Candid Conversation With The Creative Anushka Kaushik COVER STORIES Barkha Singh’s candid candour makes the way to an eye-catching interview COVER STORIES Educate, Empower, Excel: Priyanka Chahar Choudhary's Inspirational Overture COVER STORIES Waluscha De Sousa On Being Her ‘True Self’ And Going On The Dream Journey COVER STORIES POPULAR POSTS Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement By Sakshi Shah The Many Chapters Of Lekha Prajapati, From Performer To Storyteller 6 July 2026 COVER STORIES By Sakshi Shah Across Languages, One Voice: Sheena Chohan 1 April 2026 COVER STORIES By Sakshi Shah Mananveer Singh On Making Music That Feels Natural And Real 24 March 2026 COVER STORIES By Sakshi Shah Falak Khan On Acting, Identity, And Letting Her Work Speak For Itself 9 March 2026 COVER STORIES RELATED POSTS Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement

  • Changes in Fashion

Changes in Fashion by Neha Pande Changes in Fashion 27 July 2020 FASHION Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement In the start of the 90’s or before no one would have thought that black women or brown could be on the cover of a magazine like Vogue or a plus size woman would be a leading role model or on the cover of 100’s of billboard but in today’s world it is quite common to have a beautiful black lady gracing the cover of huge magazines or a plus size woman on the billboards of Times Square. When someone like Beverly Johnson, the first Black model to come out on the cover of Vogue in the 1970’s, made it, it was a big deal for everyone. When Ashley Graham, the first plus size model, came on the cover of Vogue in 2015, it took the industry by storm. From then till now the fashion industry has been evolving and changing for the better, it has started to be more inclusive of all, be it different races, sizes, genders or people with skin disorders. The barriers of Fashion have been changing since the humans learnt what Fashion is. In Greece and Rome, plus sized women were termed as goddesses in the 18th Century which later changed to slim and fit women termed as gorgeous. From the corseted waists and large ball gowns of the European Empire to the loose and free flowing bohemian fashion of the 1960’s, all were significant landmarks in the fashion Industry. The 1940’s was the era when World War II was at its peak, men were at the War Zone while women were at work. This era was the era of women wearing boxer pants with buttoned up shirts and padded shoulder blazers. This fashion statement was because women wanted to get into the working arena and they wore more male oriented clothes to show it. The 1950’s ended the world war with all men back into the workforce and women being oppressed back into housework. The fashion of the era was ultra-feminine with a lot of fit and flare which was the brainchild of Christian Dior who introduced fit and flare, slim shoulders unlike the 1940’s, narrow waist and full skirt which was inspired by the Victorian era. The 1960’s was a combined era of Hippie and Bohemian fashion with Spacy and futuristic fashion going neck to neck. The 1960’s was the start of the Northern Cali Hippie Movement with freedom to the extreme. This era had narcotics, drugs, alcohol and prostitution at its peak and it showed in their fashion with free-flowing dresses and bright colours. This era also gave birth to the famous singer and fashion icon Bob Marley. The 1970’s was the era of futuristic fashion which was due to NASA and its moon launch. This era introduced latex to the fashion industry and the fashion here was tight latex skirts or fitted bodycons with a futuristic vibe. It was also the era of Rock and Roll which gave birth to famous bands like Sex Pistols, The Ramous and the Clash and stars like Jimmy Hendrix. This era was also the Disco era which had vibrant and glittery colours contrasting to the Dark colours of the Rock and Roll. The 1980’s was the era of female empowerment and women getting into the workforce, the change in workforce demographics was huge as it showed the significant change and increase of women into various male dominated work fields. The working women of the era wore well fitted pants or pencil skirts with blazers and shirts. This era also gave birth to acid washed and ripped denim. The 1990’s was the era of sports wear like track pants, tank tops, platform sneakers and sporty tops which were rocked by famous people like Sporty Spice of the Spice Girls and Britney Spears. The 2000’s or our era is the era of amalgamation of all fashion from fit and flare of the 50’s to the funky fashion of the 70’s we have it all. We also are creating our own fashion like using matte colours in fashion with no makeup drives. Fashion is a reflection of society, it is not just merely looking pretty, it is much more than that. It is our history and our reflection as beings. From long leaves used as clothing by our early ancestors to the matte fashion of today it is all a part of our history and life. #FashionVogueWomenEraIndustrySkirtIcon SEARCH Why does Fashion Need Fashion Shows FASHION From Dreams To Crowns: Anuradha Garg’s Inspiring Mrs. India Story FASHION Colour Psychology in Fashion: Explained FASHION Legendary Female Icons Who Made Fashion Statements In The 20th Century FASHION The House of Chanel: History FASHION POPULAR POSTS Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement By Sakshi Shah The Art Of Resort Dressing, According To Hanne Bloch 30 July 2026 FASHION By Sakshi Shah The New Foundations Of Style, According To Invogue 27 June 2026 FASHION By Sakshi Shah What's The Colour Of My Voice: Inside The Wonderfully Strange World Of Absent Findings' SS27 23 June 2026 FASHION By Sakshi Shah Caslay and the New Language of Conscious Dressing 17 June 2026 FASHION RELATED POSTS Advertisement

  • Ankur Tewari And The Sound Of A Changing India

Ankur Tewari And The Sound Of A Changing India LIFESTYLE Ankur Tewari And The Sound Of A Changing India By Sakshi Shah 23 July 2026 Advertisement Indian music has never been more exciting than it is today. Independent artists are finding audiences across the world, regional sounds are travelling beyond linguistic boundaries, and film music is no longer confined to familiar formulas. The lines between genres have blurred, giving rise to a generation of artists who are creating on their own terms and inviting listeners into worlds that feel deeply personal. Few people have witnessed this evolution as closely as Ankur Tewari . Over the years, Tewari has worn many hats. He has been a singer songwriter, lyricist, music supervisor, curator and mentor, moving effortlessly between independent music and some of India's most memorable film and streaming projects. Yet what makes his journey interesting isn't the number of roles he has taken on. It's the consistency with which he has approached every one of them. No matter the medium, the focus has always been on serving the story. That approach has become increasingly significant as the music industry itself has evolved. Audiences today aren't simply looking for catchy songs. They are drawn to authenticity, to voices that feel real, and to stories that leave a lasting impression. Whether through the emotionally layered soundtracks of Made in Heaven and Kho Gaye Hum Kahan , the cultural impact of Gully Boy , or the celebration of diverse musical traditions through Coke Studio Bharat , Tewari's work reflects a belief that music can shape the way a story is experienced long after the screen fades to black. Spend a few minutes speaking with him and that philosophy becomes impossible to miss. "Music feels natural to me. I try to find the use of music as a medium to tell my story. From a distance it feels like I'm wearing many hats, but in reality it's all about music." It is a simple answer, but it explains a career that has never been driven by labels. Instead of choosing between independent music, cinema or artist development, Tewari has allowed each experience to inform the next. The result is a body of work that feels connected not by genre, but by intent. That sense of purpose extends beyond his own music. Throughout his career, he has played an important role in creating opportunities for emerging voices, championing artists with something genuine to say rather than simply following what's popular. As India's independent music scene continues to grow, he sees a new generation that is more fearless than ever before, building on the work of those who came before them while confidently creating spaces of their own. For Tewari, originality begins with honesty. He believes every artist should first understand what they stand for and the story they want to tell before thinking about anything else. It is a philosophy that has guided not only the artists he chooses to work with but also the way he has navigated his own creative journey. That same honesty has helped him stay grounded through an industry that is constantly changing. "Stick to the basics. Be honest in your expression and try to embrace your vulnerabilities." It is advice that feels surprisingly relevant in a time shaped by algorithms, trends and constant visibility. While the platforms have changed and the industry continues to evolve, the foundation of meaningful art remains exactly the same. The work has to come from a place that is truthful. Perhaps that is why Tewari's idea of success feels so refreshingly different. It isn't built around recognition or milestones. It is rooted in something far more personal. "If you are surrounded by a tribe you feel safe with, have your belly full and sleep with a smile on your face, you're successful." There is a quiet confidence in that perspective. It values community over competition and fulfilment over constant validation, offering a reminder that the most meaningful creative journeys are rarely measured by numbers alone. As Indian music continues to expand across genres, languages and audiences, it is entering one of its most dynamic chapters yet. Artists are experimenting more freely, listeners are embracing unfamiliar sounds and creative boundaries continue to dissolve. It is a future that Tewari looks towards with optimism, believing the next generation has both the confidence and the freedom to tell stories in ways that previous generations could only imagine. In many ways, his own journey reflects that evolution. Not because he has tried to define the sound of modern India, but because he has consistently created space for music that feels honest, curious and deeply human. Long after the songs end, that may be the contribution that resonates the most. • Four Seasons Bangkok: Where The River Holds Its Breath

By Shriniwas Kodape TRAVEL Four Seasons Bangkok: Where The River Holds Its Breath By Shriniwas Kodape 17 September 2025 Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement I’ve stayed in enough hotels to recognise when a place has nothing to prove. Four Seasons Bangkok is one of them. From the moment you step off the riverfront promenade into its courtyard, there’s a quiet assurance in the way it carries itself. No need for dramatic declarations or ornamental excess, just an effortless elegance that flows through every inch of the property. The Chao Phraya rolls by at its own unhurried pace, and the Four Seasons seems to take its cue from the water. There’s space here, not just in the architecture, but in the way it lets you breathe. The lobby is an embrace of warm light, polished stone, and subtle floral arrangements that feel placed for your eyes only. Every sightline is deliberate, every surface carrying the kind of texture that makes you want to run your hand across it. Rooms here aren’t just designed; they’re staged for living. Floor-to-ceiling windows pull the river inside, letting the daylight change the mood hour by hour. The materials are rich without being loud: soft fabrics, clean lines, and a colour palette that calms more than it commands. The bed seems built for slow mornings, and the kind of sleep that feels like a reset button. The dining, though, is where Four Seasons Bangkok truly leans into its personality. Food here is never an afterthought. Each restaurant has its own voice, its own rhythm, yet they all share an attention to craft that cannot be faked. Yu Ting Yuan, the hotel’s signature Michelin-recognized Cantonese restaurant, is a performance in precision with flavours layered with intention, each plate a study in restraint and detail. Riva del Fiume Ristorante brings an Italian sensibility to the riverfront, sunlit and relaxed, while Palmier by Guillaume Galliot offers French coastal charm with a contemporary edge. Even breakfast carries that quiet indulgence, turning the first meal of the day into an occasion worth lingering over. Service moves like good jazz, fluid, responsive, never out of tune. Staff seem to appear exactly when you need them, and vanish just as seamlessly. It is this rhythm that makes the stay feel less like being managed and more like being understood. And then there is the pool: long, linear, set against the river with just enough separation to make you feel part of the city without being swallowed by it. By day, it is a place to drift; by night, it becomes a reflective strip of light, mirroring the Bangkok skyline. Four Seasons Bangkok doesn’t chase your attention. It earns it. Not with noise or spectacle, but with an unwavering sense of place, a property that knows exactly what it is and delivers on it without hesitation. Here, the river holds its breath, and so do you, if only for a moment, before stepping back into the pulse of the city. • The Pygmalion Effect

SOCIETY by Akshaya Chandar The Pygmalion Effect 6 August 2022 SOCIETY Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement Not many may know - the ancient Greek mythological tale of Pygmalion, has been a source of inspiration for more than a hundred works of literature, and about fifty films and plays. To refresh, Pygmalion was the prince of Cyprus and was a great sculptor. He creates an ivory statue of a woman so passionately that he gets obsessed with it. He prays to god for the statue to come alive and the God grants him the same! The Pygmalion is one of the most famous plays by George Bernard Shaw. The wisdom passed down to generations that a strong will can induce life even in a rock. George Bernard Shaw put the same prophecy in the play, and it was also created in the musical composition 'My Fair Lady'. Today we refer to the concept, that a person will achieve or perform as he is expected to perform as "The Pygmalion Effect". The main idea concerning The Pygmalion Effect is that if you believe that someone is capable of achieving greatness then that person will indeed achieve greatness. In other words, believing in potential simply creates potential. "The Pygmalion Effect" may occur all around us-whether it be at work, at schools or even at home. Closer home, the tour of Akshardham Temple at Delhi starts with the same concept of a rock turning into a human, with the qualities that the sculptor sees in it. Here at school, we the parents and teachers can create better students, scholars and pupils just by believing in the fact that they are the best. Let that be in behavior, academics, social conduct or any such attribute. This is truer, when working with underachievers. All it takes is, really believing in this fact. If we relate this closely, for instance, you tell a new teacher in a school - who has no previous experience with her new to be students, that a particular student of hers is extremely bright and clever. The new teacher will automatically be more supportive, more encouraging, teach more challenging material, be patient and allow that student more time to answer questions. The main concern is that this new teacher entirely believes that this student is bright and clever, and so is the converse for which we should be more careful. If I co-relate this with my young friends, I would say-just start communicating with yourself and others, with strengths and qualities, or skills and talents. You must start focusing on all that is positive and dismiss everything that is negative. Believe in yourself and others and you will give yourself the power to change lives. Every human, including you, has strengths, qualities, attributes, talents and skills. Use it for your best advantage. If the famous octopus Paul could create history in World Cup Football by his predictions, should we talk more for humans. Treat a man as he is and he will remain as he is. Treat a man as he can and should be and he will become as he can and should be. #PygmalionEffect #Cyprus #Sculptor #GeorgeBernardShaw #Myfairlady #Greek SEARCH Why India is the most depressed country in the world? • Why India is the most depressed country in the world?

SOCIETY by Anadi Gupta Why India is the most depressed country in the world? 1 September 2020 SOCIETY Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement India is the world’s most depressed country and we don’t talk about it as much as we talk about other diseases, but you’ll be shocked to know that 300 million people worldwide are suffering from depression. Depression and bad mental health have been ignored as a serious issue since ages. Mental health is as important as physical health but sadly nobody takes it as a serious illness and avoid talking about it. People in India still take it as a taboo. A study reported in WHO, conducted for the National Care Of Medical Health, states that at least 6.5 per cent of the Indian population suffers from some form of the serious mental disorder, in spite of the rural-urban differences. Though there are effective measures and treatments, there is an extreme shortage of doctors and mental health workers like psychologists and psychiatrists. As reported latest in 2014, it was as low as ”one in 100,000 people”. The average suicide rate in India is 10.9 for every one lakh people and the majority of people who commit suicide are below 44 years of age. According to these data, India is in a serious mental health crisis but the attitude which Indians show towards it is not helpful at all. It won’t make any change. A major part of population of India is highly judgmental towards those who have any kind of mental illness. They don’t like to talk to such people because they think it will affect their mental health too. According to the surveys the people who understand it come from good socio-economic environment and are highly educated. The young kids are coming forward to support many mental health campaigns because they understand and are facing stress a lot. India has less resources and more population but one of the main aspects in which we highly fail is the stereotypical thinking of the people who live here. People still are blinded by the fake traditions and rituals. But depression is a serious mental illness which should be taken seriously otherwise it can cause long lasting severe feelings of sadness, hopelessness and loneliness. There can be different symptoms for different people and it can also be differentiated according to gender. Many people mistook depression for sadness but it is more than just being sad and lonely. Symptoms of it can last from months to years. A person with depression cannot find pleasure or joy in anything. It gets very difficult for one to start a day and get off from the bed. There is just so much hopelessness in everything they do. Everything seems so tiring and difficult. If you see a person like this please tell him to get help if needed and get a proper treatment otherwise it may result in us losing another life. Spread awareness against it, try to make people aware everywhere that mental peace and stability is the most important thing. Many celebrities are now breaking stereotypes and coming forward to talk about it publicly so people can realize its effects. Many mental health foundations are doing great work for the cause. And we can now only hope for things to get better. SEARCH Why India is the most depressed country in the world? Elegance is Everything: How Korean Fashion Has Swept The World by Rupashree Ravi Elegance is Everything: How Korean Fashion Has Swept The World 1 August 2022 FASHION Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement It is no doubt that elegant, comfortable and classy fashion has become the go-to choice for this young and booming generation. Young adults’ interest and fascination towards growing popular cultures are reflected in their music, food, and fashion choices, to name a few. With the Hallyu wave taking over the world by storm, where Korean cultural practices are gaining popularity and increased overseas attention, K-fashion has found itself a loyal and global fanbase. It has become an international phenomenon that has paved its way into the Indian market too. Simply put, K-fashion or Korean fashion is inspired by the global love for K-pop and K-dramas, which at the moment, appears to be at an all-time high in India. It is a fusion of modern fashion with a tweak of conservative style and is quickly becoming a strong fashion statement all across the world. K-fashion, with its Less is More attitude sets its clothing apart from other fashion trends. From baggy pants, and oversized tops to trench coats and tote bags, K-fashion has got you all covered. This is because the sense of style is an aesthetic that is delicate, yet quite distinctive compared to other cultures. It doesn’t scream, rather it is simple yet minimal and classy. Korean boy band BTS has revolutionized the fashion scene in the country. Whether it is the basic colour palettes of muted and pastel colours like beige and grey, Koreans will flaunt their elegance as they go for a formal yet casual style. High-waisted pants and a luxurious blouse complemented with high heels is the most sought-after look for Korean women. Such an outfit is classy and professional at the same time. They wear blazers with sneakers and still look sophisticated, having an element of intricacy. Korean fashion aesthetics are built around one or two prints, instead of vibrant and energetic colours, which are considered to be less fashionable. Some of their iconic trends are slacks, high waist palazzo pants, denim, miniskirts, jumpsuits, suspenders, polo shirts, straight-cut jeans, padded jackets, and playsuits. “Thanks to its vibrant hues and bold colour combinations, Korean fashion has become a living example of how different clothing styles can suit every taste.” Shin Min-a’s fashion in the hit K-drama, Hometown Cha Cha Cha Son Ye-Jin sporting a classy look in Crash Landing On You A major distinction from western fashion is how Koreans reveal their skin. Since showing off skin is not very common in their culture, they choose a part to flaunt while covering up the rest. For instance, if they wear a pair of shorts, they complement it with an elegant blouse for a formal look. Knee or thigh-high long socks are also very common with dresses. Moreover, their use of accessories like handbags and jewellery. Hair accessories like berets, face caps, hairpins and clips complement beautiful hairstyles by adding a unique and personal touch. Even Korean men flaunt these accessories and completely rock their look. K-pop idols Hongjoong, Kai and G-Dragon are well-known for their iconic fashion statements. This fashion trend, thus, stimulates a graceful aura that is discreet and focused on utmost comfort. K-fashion is a major source of inspiration in the fashion world. The trend has just taken off in India as we see a high demand for these clothing styles. However, with rising popularity and interest in Korean culture and fashion, the best of the Hallyu wave is yet to come. #K -fashion #KoreanFashion #BTS #Hallyu #KoreanWave SEARCH Why does Fashion Need Fashion Shows FASHION From Dreams To Crowns: Anuradha Garg’s Inspiring Mrs.

  • Glass Slippers And Glittery Masks!

Glass Slippers And Glittery Masks! LIFESTYLE Glass Slippers And Glittery Masks! by Aparajita Jaiswal 27 July 2020 Advertisement Don’t get too comfortable girls! You never know when the other shoe falls off too. Well when Alfred Tennyson said, “‘It is better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all,” I strongly disagree. Sometimes the best charmers are the ones needed to be kept on lock down. Men would say anything to get the girl. Beware of the dogs! Be with a guy that ruins your lipstick not your mascara! Although, as challenging as atoning can be, the rewards make it worth the time, but most people find it difficult to admit that there was fault to begin with and find it easier to pretend it never happened or that it’s not going to be a bother at all. But the problem with hiding your sins is that they always come back to haunt you. All masks eventually have to come off and with them so do the gloves. We all wear different masks for different reasons. Some masks we put on because it’s truly who we want to be while some masks we wear because we hope to stay hidden. Some we wear because we cannot bear to see what’s underneath or because it is what someone else wants us to be. But that’s the problem with wearing them is that they can be ripped off at any moment. Every journey is fraud with twists and turns. The ultimate challenge is to stay the course, move on from the past and forge your path into the future. Because one false move can spell disaster. #tisbettertohavelovedandlostthantoneverhavelovedatall #AlfredTennyson #MasksGirlUltimatechallengeAlfredTennysonsaid SEARCH Ankita Malik: Empowering Change And Embracing Authenticity LIFESTYLE Juggling Two Worlds: The Inspiring Journey Of Kritika Goel LIFESTYLE Juggling Law And Fashion: The Inspirational Journey Of Riddhi Nahata, A Multifaceted Influencer LIFESTYLE Nikita Pawar: From Fashion Design To Digital Stardom LIFESTYLE Join Shruti Yogi On Her Enchanting Journey From Kumkum Bhagya To Wanderlust Saga LIFESTYLE POPULAR POSTS Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement By Sakshi Shah Bonobo And Arooj Aftab's Fire On The Water Is The Kind Of Collaboration You Can't Plan 5 August 2026 LIFESTYLE By Sakshi Shah Tsumyoki Is Building A World Of His Own 30 July 2026 LIFESTYLE By Sakshi Shah Ankur Tewari And The Sound Of A Changing India 23 July 2026 LIFESTYLE By Sakshi Shah The Father's Day Edit: Gifts Worth Giving 21 June 2026 LIFESTYLE RELATED POSTS Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement
